    If I want to add pictures to the location of the cursor in the text box, I need to use EditManager insertInlineGraphic. But insertInlineGraphic offers no parameter to control how an image is placed in the text, such as baselineShift.
    While InlineGraphicElement allows me to well control on image added how is placed in the text through properties such as baselineShift, but then there is no way to add this InlineGraphicElement object newly created as the location of the cursor in the text box!
    So, how do you overcome this limitation? How can I add an image to the text in the text box to the location of the cursor through Actionscript and control its reference level?

    After you add the ILG, you can find the ILG element by textFlow.findLeaf (cursor location) as InlineGraphicElement and then change its attributes. Or you can just enjoy applyLeafFormat().

    FindLeaf is an important function for navigation in the TLF.

    Hello

    You have a few options as I see it.

    Click Start in the search type Recovery Manager, and then click it once select Yes on user access control, and then select I need immediate help and then select driver & select recovery requires the audio driver and install it and then restart the device.

    Go into Device Manager and uninstall the sound driver and restart and unit automatically installs the driver.

    Try to run the system restore to the date where the unit was working fine.

    Try to update the driver from hp.com for Audio & Bios site.

    Last step is to perform a recovery on the unit before they please back up your data.

  • How can I set the default volume for the sound level of the wave in Windows XP

    When I start or restart my computer running Windows XP Professional, the wave volume goes up to the max level.  This happens even if I set the volume to a level very low.  The volume control shows 'SoundMAX Digital Audio' at the bottom.

    I guess I could figure out how to do; However, it seems that it would be disabling applications and not answering is not to reason the volume resets to max level on boot-up the top.

  • AS3: How to access and control embedded sounds in an external swf?

    I rarely use the sounds in AS3/Flash. I use Flash Pro CS6, but I can't seem to understand how access control (play, stop, etc) sounds embedded in a SWF external loading in the main SWF file.

    It is easy to control them when they are incorporated on the main swf. However, on a responsible external SWR, I get all sorts of errors. For this application, I really need to incorporate in the external SWF file.

    I've read several solutions, but none seems not to work.

    I integrate the sound file mp3 called soundSegment1.mp3 tool to import Flash CS6 and then open the properties panel actionscript Flash select the name of the class: SoundSegment1. Can I change the class ID and create a file named SoundSegment1.as, and it saved right next to my document class main.as in the same directory. The code for the SoundSegment1 class looks like this:

    package  {

    import flash.media.*;

    public class SoundSegment1 extends Sound

    {

    public function SoundSegment1 ()

    {

    // no code in here

    }

    public function playSound()

    {

    var soundSegment1:Sound = new SoundSegment1();

    var channel:SoundChannel = soundSegment1.play();

    }

    }
    }

    Then, in my main.as, I made several attempts to play this sound such as:

    var fileLocation:URLRequest = new URLRequest(SWFToLoad);

    loader.load(fileLocation);

    loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, progressListener);

    loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, completeListener);

    loader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(Event.INIT, initListener);

    function initListener(e:Event):void // I also placed this code on the completeListener and it didn't work

    {

         loader.content.soundSegment1.playSound(); // doesn't work.

    }

    I get:

    Line XXX 1061: Call to a possibly undefined method playSound through a reference with static type flash.display:DisplayObject.

    Otherwise, I also read that I should be able to do something like this anywhere in the Main.as file:

    var theClass:Class = Class(loader.content.getDefinitionByName("SoundSegment1")); var theSound:theClass = new theClass(); theSound.play()  //doesn't work either.

    I also tried on the completeListener:

    var TheClass:Class = e.target.applicationDomain.getDefinition("SoundSegment1") as Class;

    var theSound:TheClass = new TheClass();
    theSound
    .play()  //doesn't work either.

    I get:

    ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable SoundSegment1 is not defined. at flash.system::ApplicationDomain/getDefinition()

    I'm stuck and I really need this to work. I would really appreciate your help.

    Thanks in advance for any help provided. I really need to make it work, because I can not simply incorporate into the main SWF or load them individually outside one by one.

    Thanks again!

    You can use the load and loadCompleteF below:

    var SWFToLoad: String =...;

    var s:String = "SoundSegment1";

    Load (SWFToLoad, s);

    function load (urlS:String, classS:String) {}

    var ldr:Loader = new Loader();

    ldr.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, function(e:Event){loadCompleteF(e,classS);});)

    LDR. Load (new URLRequest (URL));

    }

    function loadCompleteF(e:Event,classS:String):void {}

    var loadedAppDomain:ApplicationDomain = e.target.content.loaderInfo.applicationDomain;

    var C: Class = loadedAppDomain.getDefinition (classS) in class;

    var instance: * = new C();

    Sound (instance). Play();

    }

  • Melted how audio and keep the audio level in clips later

    I have piloted PE 10.  When I add keyframes manually to fade audio output, or simply select the option ' fade out ' to fade at the end of an audio clip, the audio ends at the end of the clip and the audio of the following clips is to initial level.  This creates a large discontinuity to the noise level.

    What happens if I want to the next clip or clips to continue in the same faded audio level, rather than start at their original level.

    In Pinnacle Studio, for example, when you fade down audio, all audio to the right will be adjusted to match the level after the fade, as long as there are no keyframes forward of this final key-frame fade.  Now that I'm getting 10 EP, I'm bored of this behavior.

    In PE10, there is a sequence of keys which allow this behavior?

    If you have only one or a few Clips, where you want to reduce the Volume, I do so at the level of the Clip and simply adjust the fixed effect (appears automatically on all the audio Clips), and add keyframes to adjust the Volume.

    I find it easier since the effect controls panel, accessible by selecting the Clip you want to adjust, and then in the effects tab, choose Edit effects.

    Lets say you have a Clip, where the majority of the Volume is just, but there is a section where you want to turn it down. Go to where you want the Volume to start to get lower, add a keyframe (toggle ON keyframes), then go to where you want the Volume restore the main value and add another keyframe. At this point, nothing has changed, but you added two key frames, which "held" the Volume at the current level. Now, go where you want the Volume to its lowest, to the right of the first keyframe that we added. Add another. Adjust the level to this keyframe (now the second in the Clip) to what you want. Go where you want the Volume first on the rise, just before the second keyframe that you added (now third), and add another keyframe. Adjust so that it matches the Volume you settled in what is now the second keyframe. You will have four key frames: the first, one that keeps the Volume at the beginning of the Clip, the second, which allows to adjust the Volume to its setting, the third, which corresponds to the Volume of the second, then the fourth, keeping the Volume at the level of the initial until the end of the Clip. It will look like this:

    Some like to do the with the "rubberbands" Keyframing in the Clip itself, but I like the effect controls panel.

    In addition, keyframes that we added, are linear and if you want to adjust the Interpolation, the smoother changes just Rt-click on each keyframe, to adjust the Interpolation. Interpolation is a little abstract, so I suggest to read the help files on Bezier curves on keyframes.

    Good luck

  • Class SoundMixer... cannot control the sounds created by the ACE?

    I'm doing a preso loading sounds in AS3 vs AS2.

    According to the AS3 SoundMixer class documentation "...". integrated controls of sounds continuously in a SWF file. it does not control created dynamically sound objects (that is, sound objects created in ActionScript). »

    Reference

    However, if I load a new AS3 document, type the following in the frame1 and then put "SoundMixer.stopAll ();" in the context of 20, he * will be * stop all sounds.

    I'm not exactly complaining, but are the docs wrong, or I'll just crazy here? I still have to find an instance where the class SoundMixer does not work operating docs.

    var mySound:Sound = new Sound();
    var mySoundRequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("someMusic.mp3");
    mySound.addEventListener (Event.COMPLETE, onSoundLoaded);
    mySound.load (mySoundRequest);

    function onSoundLoaded(event:Event):void
    {
    var localSound:Sound = event.target as Sound;
    localSound.play ();
    }

    Yes, I noticed that too.

    > However, if I load a new AS3 document, type the following command
    > in image1, then put 'SoundMixer.stopAll () '; in frame 20, it
    > * will * stop all sounds.

    This was also my experience. It is the same for the volume control
    on SoundMixer, and pan, through its soundTransform property, which
    provides a reference to a SoundTransform instance that is, without doubt,
    Global (in the sense of affecting all the sounds).

    > I'm not exactly complaining, but the docs are bad.

    My hunch is that the docs are simply wrong on this one.

    The SliderBar Volume work well and I need to assign some how the volume for the volume of position (value of). I was wondering if anyone can tell me how I can do this on a sound which is timeline based?

    Thank you very much and have a great day.

    It's easy - no one will be able to tell you a way to do it.
    Sound control is very limited when you use the timeline sounds. That's why
    It's great to have the Sound class, which gives you a lot of methods
    and properties to deal with sound. One would be setVolume(), which
    allows developers to change the volume of the sound when running.
