Unsynchronized MP4 video and sound in 7 PREL

Hello

I'm doing a video based in some MP4 clips, recorded with my video camera Sanyo. Although the PREL7 import the clips without problem, the sound is strongly not synchronized to the video. This is not a simple timeline or previewing problem, because the unsynchronized issue is also present in the rendered movie. I thought it was a problem of camera, but when I play the MP4 clips in QuickTime player, the result is perfect, and the sound and video are perfectly synchronize.

I tried to export the MP4 in another format with Adobe Media Encoder, but the problem remains.

No idea how to solve this will be greatly welcomed

Thank you

Valter-Brazil

Thank you, Valter.

I understand now why you have problems with this video. It's AVC video - but not HD Premiere Elements can't handle this codec.

It is possible that the camera came with a program to convert your video to DV - AVI.

If this isn't the case, it might work.

  • Video and sound on the x 51 Alienware

I got an Alienware x 51 for a few years already and have always noticed that there are two size HDMI ports in the back.  The manual of the these calls the 'edge' (on the motherboard) port and the port "discreet" (nVidia video card).  I currently have the computer connected to a bar that works then to a TV.  HDMI is my preferred connection type as the Soundbar is not equipped with too besides for the entry.

Initially, I plugged the HDMI in the quiet port in order to use the video card.  But I noticed by doing this, I have not received any sound.  This kind of sense to me, it's a video card.  But it beats type of the object to a HDMI connection.  Then try the built-in HDMI port gave me both sound and image.  I used this connection for the length of time I've owned the system.

In diagnosing another problem recently, I received your comments that I don't actually use the video card.  Their logic makes sense, I'm not connected to the discreet port.  Without knowing how the internal mechanisms work, I can't say with certainty.

I have two questions for someone competent with the Alienware x 51 and it's dual HDMI output:

    1. By using the HDMI Board, am I without going through the video card completely and by using the (I imagine most rudimentary) integrated graphics capability?  The system always use the video card and switch the output via the on-board HDMI?
    2. If I am without going through the video card using the integrated HDMI output, how can I use the video card (and discreet HDMI port) and get her out of the system?  Is this possible?

Sorry if these are stupid questions, I know a bit about computers.  I did a lot of research on this topic, watched videos of Alienware on the connections and I've seen a few posts on Dell for similar subjects.  But I have not found answers to these questions more precisely.  I would like to know how it works.

    Thank you!

1 - Yes, you can use the HDMI port and have always discreet video card works as the main source of the image, in some cases (very little) I saw the graphics performance to drop slightly.

    2. don't make sure you had the HDMI as playback device on by default so that connected the port that goes directly to the video card?

There are no stupid questions. We are all have to start somewhere and you have come to the right place. We are here to help.

  • Audio, video, and game controllers missing in vista 64

    Hey there,

I'm having a problem with my card mother dx58so and sound.  The speaker beside clock icon has a red X.  He says that there is no audio output device installed. When I go into Device Manager it isis is not even an option to extend a audio, video and game controllers. It is completely absent.  I've updated to a vista 64 SP2.  I also tried to install the drivers from microsoft, intel realtek and realtek themselves.  I called intel and had them go through everything with me also including enable/disable in the bios, updaste chipset, bios, drivers.  They also had me uninstall the driver that is at this time the audio, video and game controllers disappeared.  Any help would be great, otherwise I'll probabley try to reformatt HDD and reinstall windows.

    Hello zusa313,

Thank you for using Microsoft Vista answers Forum!

We would like to get a better understanding of this issue so that we can better help you on this question.

Both your video and sound on Board (part of the motherboard) cards or are they another card installed in one of the slots on your system (stand-alone)

Which version of the service Park you have on your PC (SP1 or SP2?)

Have you checked to make sure that this motherboard is compatible with the operating system you are using? You can check it out here CENTER OF COMPATIBILITY of VISTA

If your device is compatible, your problem may be getting the right driver or a defective unit, or you need to just run all the necessary update on your PC.  I suggest you run Windows update to get the latest updates for your PC.

Second, boot your PC in a boot environment in MINIMAL MODE to make this issue is not caused by a background program and reinstall the latest drivers for your devices

To perform a clean boot on a computer that is running Windows Vista, follow these steps.

    1. click on Start, type msconfig in the Search box and press ENTER.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click continue.

    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.

    3. under Selective startup, clear the Load Startup items check box.

    4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click disable all.

    5. click on OK.

    6. When you are prompted, click restart.

    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

If your problem is resolved, follow the section How to determine what is causing the problem in the KB article to narrow down the exact source.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/331796. In addition, refer to the section on how to restore your computer to a Normal startup mode

  • After the upgrade to Windows 8 on a HP Pavilion dv2799: sound, video, and mouse is stuttering

My HP Pavilion dv2799 comes with Windows Vista and has always worked very well. However, after I have recently upgraded to Windows 8 32 bit, now sound, video and even the mouse is stuttering.

The laptop has a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 M GS, and my approach has been to find the correct graphics driver. However, I don't find the driver on the HP website. I thought that maybe I need to use a HP change NVIDIA driver? To remedy this, I installed the latest NVIDIA driver, 314.22, from nvidia.com.

Regarding the Conexant High Definition SmartAudio 221 sound that I can't find any other driver as 4.36.7.60. According to the website of Conexant, Conexant provides no drivers for PC audio products to end-users.

It can be the cause of the performance issue? How can I solve the problem?

OK, back to the other end of the scale.

  • DV7-6b75nr: sound, video and game controllers

Hi guys... not been here for a long time.

In "Device Manager", under sound, video and game controllers, the "Bluetooth Audio" has the formidable yellow triangle, and when I opened the unit, under status it says... "Windows cannot verify the digital signature required, etc., etc. (code 52).

I tried to reinstall HP Recovery Manager, but may does not seem to solve the problem. The driver provider says it is Intel Corp., and of course somewhere in the order of things, I damaged the drivers. When I go to the Web page for the laptop that I seem to be unable to find the correct drivers that I need! My Bluetooth mouse works fine.

I tried the "Intel PROSet pilot Bluetooth" that did not help.

If someone could point me in the right direction... Any help would be appreciated

    Waiting... Thank you
