untrapped exception cannot be caught

I joined the sources of the xmlcataloghandler example in my plug-in in CS2.

The sample can be build in CS2, for lack of "Types.r" while I build my plugin for WIN32.

The SDKFileHelper I want to call from a clean menu item.

The plug-in can be build without errors, but when I imply the functionality

to read the XML file, I always get ' is being Adobe InDesign

downwards. A serious error has been detected "on the line" IdFichier = defaultCatalogFile "

Utils < IXCatHndFacade > (-> GetDefaultXMLCatalogFile()); »
I ' v surrounded this line with a try and catch clause (const exception & e).
The method GetDefaultXMLCatalogFile() itself I also surrounded a
try/catch clause.
But anyway, I get named untrapped error, which will stop in InDesign.
What to do to avoid or to deal with this fundamental error?

Please read this message before doing anything.

This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

    Step 1

The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is localized to your user account.

Select the feedback connections* and log in as a guest. Do not use the Safari connection only 'user comments' created by 'find my Mac '.

While signed in as a guest, you will have access to your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you use them for the first time. Do not be alarmed by this behavior; It's normal. If you need any password or other personal information in order to complete the test, save, print, or write them before you start.

Test while signed in as a guest. Same problem?

After testing, log on to the guest account and in your own account, disable it if you wish. The files that you created in the guest account will be automatically deleted when you log out of it.

    * Note: If you have enabled 'find my Mac' or FileVault, then you cannot activate the guest account. The login 'User comments' created by 'Find my Mac' is not the same. Create a new account to test and delete it, including his home folder, after testing.

    Step 2

The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is caused by changes in the system of third party that load automatically at startup or logon, by a device, by a police conflict or corruption of system files or some system caches.

Please take this step regardless of the results of step 1.

Disconnect all devices wired except those required to test and remove all the expansion cards from secondary market, as appropriate. Start in safe mode and log on to the account of the problem.

Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is defined, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

Safe mode is much slower to boot and run as normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things work at all, including an audio output and a Wi - Fi connection on some models. The next normal boot can also be a bit slow.

The login screen is displayed even if you normally connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

Test in safe mode. Same problem?

After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of steps 1 and 2.

  • iCal - * terminating app due to an untrapped exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: 'this NSPersistentStoreCoordinator has no persistent store (unknown).  He is unable to perform a backup operation

About a month after moving to OS X 10.11.3 calendar application does not load. I thought that ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iCal deletion would empty it. I no longer get the error earlier, even if it also started with the ApplicationSpecificInformation:

Please, back up all data. If you have iCloud calendars, archive them by following the instructions on this page under the heading "download a calendar of iCloud.com." all you need is a web browser, not the calendar application. Do the same with the other calendars of network you have, if possible.

Before taking each of these steps, quit (leave by force if necessary) application. After taking stage, recovery and test. When the problem is solved (or when you have completed step 3 without resolving), stop and close the library folder.

    Step 1

Hold down the option key and select

    Go ▹ library

in the Finder menu bar. In the folder that opens, move these items (some may not exist) to the trash, leaving the open library folder:

    Calendars/calendar Cache

    Calendars/calendar Cache-shm

    Calendars/calendar Cache-wal

    Step 2

Move these files to the library folder on the desktop (even once, some cannot exist):

Containers/com.apple.CalendarAgent (and all others with a start of name in 'com.apple.Calendar')

Containers/com.apple.iCal (and all others with a name in 'com.apple.iCal' beginning)

    Preferences/com.apple.CalendarAgent.plist

    Preferences/com.apple.iCal.plist

If the problem is resolved, you may be able to put some of the items you have moved in this stage, recovery and testing after each of them. Finally, you can find the one that caused the problem; Delete it. Re-create your settings if necessary.

If the problem is not yet solved, put back to each of the points you have moved in this step, crushing the that may have been created in its place. Do not put the files that you moved in step 1.

    Step 3

Move this folder on the desktop:

    Calendars

Note: you do not move the application to calendars; you move a folder named "calendars". If there is no change, put the folder back where he was.

If the problem is resolved after you move the calendars folder, the event database is corrupted. You have these choices:

Restore the snapshot folder Time Machine or another backup prior to corruption.

Use a third party application like "Calendar cleaner" (not tested by me) to try to repair the database.

For the calendar network accounts, such as iCloud, all you need to do is re-enter the preferences. For subscribed calendars, simply re - subscribe.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones untrapped exception: java.lang.NullPointerException on silent incoming call

I got an incoming call and I hit him either the top or to the bottom of the volume button to turn off the sound.  The ringtone to silence, then the unsilenced ringtone 1 second later.  Then I hit the top or to the bottom of the volume once again button, then he silenced and I received this error message:

    Eception exception: java.lang.NullPointerException

I clicked on OK and everything works fine.  Is there any solution for this and should I be worried?  I am running v4.7.1.40 (Platform 4.1.0.40).

HI and welcome to the Forums!

Untrapped exception happen - they are basically an event for which there is no program on the device to manage code. It's like a mistake on a computer--sometimes they straight. Future updates will probably help with some. A few things to check and try:

    (1) make sure you are on the latest OS for your business... you can check your carriers latest version certified through this Portal:

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

    (2) a Hard Reboot:

Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    (3) good memory management:

There are three types of potential memory on a BB: 1) application memory, the device memory) 2 and 3) Media/SD memory card

Application memory - it is the most important; It is protected (not available to the user), dedicated and (fixed size) space as the destination for the installation of applications (more a few storage applications, overhead and other costs). You can't touch AppMemory. You cannot improve the maximum AppMemory that your BB has. It is what it is. Applications can install only here... There is no other choice.

The device memory - it is space on your BB you can touch these files, images, media, etc. In general, it is not very big, but it is available.

Memory card SD/Media - is what it says... your SD card to store files, media, photos, etc.. It can be as large as your BB OS can support... see this KB:
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB05461

On some devices/OS levels, enforcement and the memory of the device are combined into "free file"... This is, IMO, a little more difficult to administer that you can't see really how AppMemory you have. Nevertheless, here are some tips to use:
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB15345
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB14320
    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB14213

Finally, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. Rather, to close an application, press the BBKey and select 'Farm' or 'Quit'... that forces the application to be closed, freeing for your new use the resources it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.

    Good luck!

This sounds like a defective phone?

I found the solution to the problem.

According to a person on the EDGE, there is a problem with the 4.5 OS and LabelField class. By using the BasicEditField class to show the text rather than LabelField, stopped except that occur.

I do not understand why this error occurred with my program in particular. I did a lot of programs which implement LabelField, and which cause no error on devices running 4.5.

PS the precise error message was "Eception exception: ArticInterface:ocPosToCaret: error 3; formatting of the text = 46 "length

Was a problem with MySpace, found no messages/threads with this specific issue, if you are looking for help.  I noticed in the review for MySpace v1.5 on AppWorld Board there were other owners of the Curve 8330 has the same question:

Whenever I try to view my friends list, add a friend, or look at someone from another friend list, the application crashes.  If I leave the app to do something else while it loads and try to re - open, I get:

    Untrapped exception:

Research on the forums for this error of java, most of the suggestions were to reload the operating system of the device such that it may be corrupted.  As an attempt to solve the problem, last night I upgraded to v4.5 v4.3.  When I have been upgrading completed, my MySpace, AppWorld and Facebook apps has shown under options > advanced > applications, but the icons could not be found.  I even searched the hidden icons and still no luck.  I used the destop application loader to remove these three applications in the device manager.  I then downloaded AppWorld from my (www.blackberry.com) device and once it has been installed it used to download and install MySpace and Facebook.  Once they have downloaded and installed, I turned off and only went to a battery.  Restarts, showed the icons and apps worked... except for the MySpace Friend list: same problem.  I don't remember when this error occurred initially, but I guess it was after the last MySpace app update.  Were not immediately thereafter, however.  I can access my messages, and the home page, but that's all.  I already sent an e-mail to [email protected] with no response

    Any help out there!

MySpace 1.5.1.7 version is available for download!

Curiously, the app started working properly a few days there with the exception of slow notifications, but not mistakes.

  • "System.Exception: cannot create ActiveX component." at Microsoft.VisualBasic.Interaction.CreateObject (String ProgId, String ServerName)

    Hello

I have a console application of .net that generate thumbnails of pdf files. This application has no user interface, and it works well as a stand-alone executable file.

However, when I called this app services windows I get this error

"System.Exception: cannot create ActiveX component." at Microsoft.VisualBasic.Interaction.CreateObject (String ProgId, String ServerName) at PDFThumbnail.Main (String [] args)"

I learned that the "Session 0 ', home of the services, is quite an inhospitable home for ActiveX controls.

It's the mistake of the SysInternals Process Monitor

Machine default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM with CLSID {FF76CB60-2E68-101B-B02E-04021C009402} server application and APPID unavailable to the user NT AUTHORITY\LOCAL SERVICE SID (S-1-5-19) of the address LocalHost (using LRPC). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

This CLSID {FF76CB60-2E68-101B-B02E-04021C009402} is mapped to (AcroExch.PDDoc on the registry.

I have changed the ownership of this CLSID to administrator with full control in Component Services and I still get the same problem when the executable program pdfthumbnail is involke by services of the window.

As an experience that when using the Acrobat Api (AcroExch.PDDoc) via windows services.

    Thank you.

What I did to fix this problem of not being able to call the Acrobat of service, it's that I have created a windows Task Scheduler that listening to an event triggered by the windows service when the new pdf are created, and then start the console application that generates thumbnails.

    I hope this helps someone.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones untrapped exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor (0x7c802477365c3985) timeout

    Hello everyone,

last weekend I am facing a problem with my BB Curve 8520. I don't know what caused it, but I remember it all started when I turned on the phone after getting out of the metro station because my WhatsApp did not work. (In fact WhatsApp and Leo app dictionary never work after I get out of the place where there is no network, so I have to turn off the phone, remove the battery and turn it on again).

So, this time when I turned on the phone once again, he started to give me the message "index eception exception 4 > = 4" and subsequently this msg appeared "Eception exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor (0x7c802477365c3985) timeout ' and I could not send msg via Whatsapp. I said, that it could occur a problem I did once again.  The messages kept appearing and at one point it freezes and couldn't do nothing.

The next day, I realized that I could not call or receive a. I could not access even the call log but I could receive normal SMS.

The situation remains the same crate now: I receive the message "Eception exception: ApplicationRegistry.waitFor (0x7c802477365c3985) timeout ', I cannot make or receive calls, cannot access the call register, WhatsApp works sometimes ok, sometimes I can not receive or send a msg but I can receive SMS messages.

I tried the safe mode and also to restart while it is, but nothing changes. Once I deleted WhatsApp but the msg kept appearing.

My opinion is that the problem is WhatsApp but I couldn't find in the log of events (Information) (with alt + lglg). I would really appreciate f someone could give me some advice what to do.

    Thank you in advance!

    Kind regards

  • Untrapped exception Smartphones blackBerry messaging BB 85

9000 "BOLD", with Blackberry Messenger. Regularly lift lock on Messages and Messenger if they come across.

Or application, as well as sms won't open; all the others do, but to make a call seems to lock up the call if a connection cannot be established.

Message is "Eception exception: Application net-rim-bb-mail-app (85) is not responding." Application is complete.

Need to remove the battery to reboot the BB & clear constipation; and in this case, the message of the Messenger is lost.

Version of Messenger 5.0.1.41; OS 5.0.0.771, bundle 1301, 5.2.0.72 platform.  Australia Telstra.

It happens on a regular basis; I obviously have to get over it. Any suggestions?

(PS searched the FAQ of BB, but perhaps missed it, if so apologies!)

Best solution is to uninstall BB Messenger.  Doing that, no more problems now.

The line of code in the bean to support caused the error:
    oracle.jbo.uicli.binding.JUCtrlValueBindingRef tableRowRef = this.getTable1 () .getRowData () (oracle.jbo.uicli.binding.JUCtrlValueBindingRef);

What bothers me is that the same code works very well in the bean to another support page (see * 1) and I can't know the difference.
    My environment:
I use JDeveloper 11. The application that I am has been upsized a JDeveloper 10 g app, so that the components are for the most part, Trinidad. We had to do a lot of adjustment to get the app to work on 11g. The work page I mentioned above has been made in 10g app (* 1).
Now, I add more things in this app. The application configuration is now EJB session beans and components of Trinidad.
Jspx page, I have a table that was formed for the purpose of the database (NOT of VO). I have a command to bind to a column in this table and I would like to get an Id of the row in the table. The error code line above causes is in the method of the command link.
