I bought this one after I returned a dv6 for a power supply problem, it would not turn on at all after I had it for only a few weeks.

  When the laptop is turned on it starts and then freezes on windows start screen. It takes a few other tests of the switch, tool repair, before I can get it to come. The repair tool is useless for this problem. In this process, I also end up with BSOD and stop errors. The error that appears now is 0 X 00009086. I will use no more restore because it isn't helped either.

  A computer brand new, not even a month and he has this major problem. I've read other articles published on the dv7 and have not found anything else to try.
