UP2516D - Auto revolving / rotating

Hello

In the first week of June, I received my UP2516D. For the work of design (design Theme WP and dev), I need to switch to portrait mode. And having to change from landscape to portrait and vice versa in the Windows settings or the GPU becomes a little embarrassing to be honest. He is also clumsy get the mouse pointer to move the settings correctly.

Whatever I do, I can't get the image to rotate automatically when I rotate the screen in portrait mode. I also tried with the MENU on ' display > image format > Auto Resize "instead of" 16:9 Wide ".". "

Also the plug on the sales page does not specifically mention that the pivot is automatic. I just assumed.

When I installed DDM, I read the following in its info window. But I don't know if automatic rotation equals automatic slewing. :

Automatic rotation
-----------------------------------------------
Auto-rotation is available on screens with
firmware support and only applies to changes of
physical or orientation of OSD menu is all screen Dell
Manager is connected to the monitor.

And I don't know if this is relevant:

-at the back of the monitor, the revision is A00, September 2015.

-J' bought the monitor in the Netherlands in an online store. (Should I take this on an Aboriginal forum?)

Anyone know how to change automatically displayed mode image landscape to portrait and vice versa, when I rotate the screen?

See you soon

With the UP2516D, I think that the autorotation (or autopivot) is triggered by the OSD and executed by the DDM.

1. run DDM

2. go into the OSD menu > Menu > Rotation

When you change the OSD menu rotation, DDM automatically changes the orientation of the Windows screen to match.

In the OSD menu, use customize it > shortcut keys to assign a button to shortcut to the Rotation if you step by step through the menu.

  • unwanted image rotation

    4.4 Lightroom rotates images of sony nex5n (raw format) at random (automatic rotation of the camera is turned off). There is an attribute of the camera, which gives the wrong rotation to lightroom. Can it be disabled?

    The 'automatic rotation' setting you make reference to may be for playback on the camera LCD screen only. It seems that the rotation of the camera sensor is still active and bouncing around vibration. Check the raw files using any EXIF reader and see if "Orientation" field shows "Horizontal" (normal). If this isn't the case, that is the question.

  • 2207 monitor: HP: w2207h monitor startup problem

    My HP monitor only has not been commissioning correctly several months now. When it appeared everything first, the monitor has refused to start when the power button has been pressed. I noticed a noise "rattling or burst" and could see that the blue power light was bike works at short intervals. After some time the monitor came; However, as the time (weeks) traveled by the monitor continued to click and not to open the splash screen. When it happened I pressed the button of keyboard sleep and distributed, and for some reason, the monitor eventually would come on.

    The monitor is not connected to a TV, it is only connected to the computer by VGA cable. I thought that the problem could be something to do with either the screen saver sleep or the settings mode, so I checked the power options and found that the two 'turn it off display", and"Put the computer to sleep"parameters had never chosen as their option. I ran the HP Hardware Diagnostic tools to monitor, but the tests were only good for alignment, color, brightness, etc.  I also checked to see if she needed a driver updated by the following process: computers > properties > tasks > Device Manager, and then clicking on other devices and by double clicking on the monitor; on the general tab, it displays the message, "this device is functioning correctly.

    After a few weeks over time, sleep button thing has stopped working and I tried to leave the monitor on the night with the computer turned off. When the computer was returned the next day, the monitor took over the rattling again, but still it would end by lights.

    Currently, I've resorted to press the button sleep when the monitor does not start alone, so far successfully startups, but I'm afraid it will cease to begin.

    Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

  • Yoga HD + 4.4 Android tab is not available

    Hello

    One of my former Lenovo tablets - a model number of Yoga HD + B8080-F - is on Android 4.3 yet up2date says system update is I know positively is not correct.

    The story that is was recently expelled for warranty repairs as the accelerometer on the original motherboard stopped working and so not auto screen rotation.

    Motherboard has been replaced and a new will only move to Android 4.3 while the former was about 4.4 something.

    I searched the forums for solutions but all failed so far. In some cases, the serial numbers of motherboards was required to be sent to one of the admins, and then their problem disappeared?

    Help, please

    Thanks in advance!

    -Cheers

    This time I managed to find the information that I have not found the last time, I looked into why 4.4 wasn't available in OTA a month ago. Had not had more priority as tablet is a little dated and therefore mainly used to watch the news before going to bed and play music via bluetooth, and for the most demanding tasks, I use my most recent tablets. But he still harassed me.

    It seems that there is a kind of 'secret' regional code that is not available in the normal system settings and does not seem to have any influence on what is available through the normal control panel and how the dates are formatted etc as windows regional settings. And really the repair shop should have set it properly before returning the tablet to me - they do not have the part.

    To access the secret area code you open contacts and in searching for contacts to "# 6020 #" (without the quotes). Now, you are presented with a picture of the country. Choose one close to you if your country isn't there. To get the 4.4.2 you must choose a European country. I chose UK that the Denmark was not on the menu. I probably could choose Germany or Sweden too with the same result. But good manufacturer a lot have a strong preference for things more recent English country first UK so ABOVE.

    CAVEAT! If you do not change the regional code 'secret' the Tablet is set to zero without warning! The Tablet restarts right after selecting the new region!

    After changing region in the UK there was a bunch of updates (continue to go to updates up until he says up2date) and tablet is now on 4.4.2.

  • Question of screen Orientation

    I can't understand how to change how the screen orientation changes when I move my x 201 laptop mode to Tablet mode. As it is, when I close it for a Tablet, the screen becomes portrait, however I would like to change to make it reverse landscape (i.e. the computer mode unlike portable 180 degrees).

    I studied the topic online and I can't find answers, does anyone know how to do this?

    -chris

    There are 2 methods to configure (assumes that you are using Windows 7):

    1. Go to control panel > Lenovo Tablet utility > Auto Screen Rotation.
      (be sure to this Menu Popup Tablet is installed, http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-67219 )
    2. Go to control panel > Tablet PC settings > display (tab) > click on 'Go to Orientation', then you can see "Orientation sequence settings" there.
  • BitmapData

    is it possible to create a BitmapData object from a responsible external bitmap? or does have be in the library?

    Thoughs FO who know... I did a search of this forum

    import BitmapData
    import flash.display.BitmapData;
    stop the movie so he repeats again and again
    Stop();
    load a photo into an mc on the stage
    content_mc.loadMovie ("flash.jpg", 1);
    Create a function that runs all the images (only for this example, it continues to run and you will not want that)
    _root.onEnterFrame = function() {}
    It's the little interesting, basically the following line is your preloader 100% action, the captain has actually been loaded until we can do this
    If (_root.content_mc.getBytesLoaded () is {_root.content_mc.getBytesTotal ()})
    Create a variable to hold the bitmapdata news
    myBitmapData = new flash.display.BitmapData (content_mc._width, content_mc._height, true, 0x00FFFFFF);
    copy the bitmap into the BitmapData instance variable that we just created
    myBitmapData.draw (_root.content_mc);
    now attach it to a different mc for the sake of the example
    _root.content_mc2.attachBitmap (myBitmapData, 1, "auto", true);
    rotate the two movieclips so you can see the difference
    _root.content_mc._rotation = 30;
    _root.content_mc2._rotation = 30;
    }
    };

  • HP revolve 810 G1, Windows 8.1, screen auto-rotation of images does not work

    I'm sure I can't be alone in having improved my G1 810 turn Windows 8.1.  However it is therefore more useful tablet as the rotation of the screen does not work.  The auto spin button does nothing and after an HP engineer swapped botht huh card system and the button they said that the only option is to return to Windows 8 (original shipping OS).

    Really, this isn't a usable solution when you want the new features of Windows 8.1 update.

    My G1 of 900 ElitePad works well on Windows 8.1.

    Can it really be difficult to get the drivers right and tested?

    Someone at - it a Windows 8.1 working solution?

    Hello

    decommissioning of the Bios to F.44 and auto-rotation should work again (for me it worked).

    I found this working solution myself, HP could not help me anyway.

    Be aware, that the Bios F.44 didn't put heat-settings update as F.47, so you'll have a noisy fan

    HP couldn't tell me when there will be updates of Bios or drivers updated.

    to ensure that automatic rotation is also running Windows 8.1.

    Hope this information helps you...

    Kind regards

  • Elite x 2 1012: Disable "auto rotation" on Elite X 2 1012

    I have a X 2 1012 elite and I can't conrol the function "auto rotation". There is no hardware button and I do not see a combination of keys.

    Yet when I go into the section display settings for Windows 10 "rotation lock" button is grayed out, - I can't select it.

    Any suggestions?

    Shahman,

    I was wondering if your keyboard base is attached when you try to access the setting of auto rotation?

    It should be greyed out when attached and only reactive once detached.

    Sometimes, once separated, you may need to rotate the tablet to portrait. Then the automatic rotation of images button works.

    Have you tried this yet?
