  We use netflix and hulu on our smart TV, but have some questions then got an AppleTV.  How can I get these accounts to get on screen the AppleTV.  The App store don't show them not as "in the cloud" to download?

  Once you're on the appleTV, you shouldn't be on the interface (right now all what you're used to seeing) of your smart TV.

  After you have connected your your ATV HDMI cable to your TV, your TV remote, you should be able to go to the respective HDMI (usually the key to which is called input or Source)

  Once you see the ATV interface, netflix should be there. You should perhaps update your ATV first and configure it to your wifi for the first time.

  I helped someone get their 4 ATV connected to a network address mac-compatible. Normally it's pretty easy. WIFI MAC address are on the box or the documentation. Not so in this case. How Apple has it set up I could not just go to "Network' page blah blah" About"page and get the address. I had to actually connect the Ethernet of the ATV in the router and then access the routers GUI to get the Ethernet address and then add this address to the allowed devices and continue with the implementation.

  Once I get it set up when connected via Ethernet and "update" the ATV went to find the MAC address of WIFI and even, it was a bit a task, lol. Of course I had to unplug the Ethernet to find, but when it appeared he ended up at the bottom of the page almost not visible and this page won't let me scroll down to exit the faded area, that is. Incredible. At least, I found and could add to the list of devices 'allowed', lol. Maybe there is an easier way, but I'm not hang something like that every day it's like a new learning experience, whenever I'm helping someone hang one of these devices.

• AirPlay works do not with iPad to AppleTV

  So, for the last few days I tried to get the airtime to play videos from my iPad but it gets stuck on the loading circle.

  IPad is Ios9.2.1, I don't know what is the version of the apple tv.

  The strange thing is that without change of settings, the airtime used the week last with no problems sending video from the youtube app and plex and google chrome.

  Now plex and videos Google chrome app just remain constantly loading. the youtube app works with the antenna but nothing else.

  Mirror mode works, but then I can not get the video full screen.

  Internet high speed is not a problem, and interference should not be a problem I tried to move everything off the power outside of the apple tv, router and iPad and it still does not work.

  Is anyone able to shed some light on this problem?

  Once you start to play, to turn briefly walk AirPlay on iPad. It worked for me.

  Please check your version of ATV and report it here. This identify your model of Apple TV - Apple Support should help.

  If it's 4 ATV, go into the settings and check the version of the software. First of all, we have experienced this phenom with tvOS 9.2. You may have updated your ATV software recently, triggering the problem.

• tvOS 10 update breaks DD5.1 on Apple TV output 4 HDMI

  Then, I upgraded tvOS 10 last night. Now, all the movies content on Netflix or iTunes won't play with audio when I output 5.1.

  I have my TV connected to a HDMI/optical splitter so that it can feed my Sonos Playbar. Prior to the update of the audio has been correctly be pulled the HDMI cable and divided optics 5.1 true, as stated in my application of parameters of Sonos.   Try the Bike ATV power and sound systems. It is working for me with HDMI to TV and optical out to A / V receiver. It has no reason for the software of the ATV to make it different than before.

• Update to Apple TV causing 7.2.1 of network problems

  Since the 7.2.1 update has been installed on my 3rd Gen Apple TV, I was not able to maintain a stable network via ethernet or Wifi connection.

  I tried to reset my base station Apple TV and Apple Extreme several times - this has resulted in the connection network briefly to come and then drop a few minutes later!

  Any help to solve this problem would be highly appreciated

  I don't know how the ethernet connection may be unstable, unless the wire is broken.

  For WiFi, make sure your network using WPA2 - AES (CCMP) encryption, with no hybrid, no TKIP. And try to forget the network and enter the settings on the ATV.

  You can also check the updates on your preferred airport, but I don't know who.

• ATV 4 Home sharing

  Other owners ATV4 still encounter home sharing questions? People send feedback to Apple on the subject?

  It seems that my Apple Tv has a strange bug that I did not see anyone else complain.

  I get a screen overlay on top of my 4th screen of Gen Apple TV saying "Software Update", "a new software is available. You want to update now? "Then, there are two buttons, one to update now and the other to update later.

  Without the remote control is not active on the overlay in a way but rather continues to control what is behind all this. So it there is no way to select one of two options if you have to hold down the key on the remote control and take the Apple TV to sleep, wake it up again and thus get rid of this fast overlay update software. Then at some point, it will pop up.

  I reset my Apple TV to factory settings and update said. Everything went well and just as I had installed new applications, the same day invites pop up.

  Also, I tried to update the software of the menu of settings with no luck as the TV tells me that my software is up to date.

  Hi, this has existed before. Your TV is says there's an update (pretty smart TV). Your TV remote allows you to interact with the screen. Both worse you beat your ATV, try to play nice.

• Home sharing television series records/seasons mixed up after update to tvOS 9.2

  After my 4th Apple TV update area generation 9.2, I discovered that TV Show records have been added for sharing home function 'my computer '. I love! Waited a long time for her!   There must be a problem with the TVOS because two other previous ATV running iOS earlier is fine, as the iPad and iPhone...

• ATV 4 turn on automatically, and all connected equipment, for no apparent reason

  I have my 4 ATV implemented to control my overall TV/sound system. Works very well.

  However, this morning I woke up to find my TV system on. I think that the ATV may have done, because a similar problem was reported in MacInTouch a couple of months. Many thought that turn on AirPlay from anywhere in the home caused this. However, I thought it was fixed by a recent software update.

  Has anyone else had a similar problem? If so, what do you have on this?

• New bug password and restrictions of ATV

  Bugs in the new Apple TV are driving me crazy! I got the 2nd Gen (a first for black) because they were released and I love it. Since my children are pretty old to analyze and find money for distance, I had enabled restriction. When I implemented the new ATV I activated just like my other two ATV last gen. Immediately, I noticed a problem with the new system. The old ATV would encourage the code 4 digit (which is defined during activation of the restrictions) whenever I would try to play the media above the permitted level or make a new purchase. It is a quick and simple solution that prevented kid "accidental" purchases or posting unauthorized action films by children. The code was particularly easy to enter when using the Remote app on any of my iOS devices.

  The new ATV however is constantly prompting me for my full iTunes connection whenever I play all media, same appreciation G movies I already own. The worst thing is that because the existing Remote app is not supported by the new ATV, I have to enter my really long iTunes password and complex by using the new remote control and the line of alphabet silly interface. I tried to disable the restrictions affecting everything back any permit setting but she always asking my password whenever something is played. The password is set to never ask, but it seems not to matter. The only way I could solve the problem is to reset the ATV and set it up again from scratch. Of course, this resulted quickly in several 'accidental' purchases on the road to Crossy.

  I hope that a new remote iOS app is coming soon and that they will in the company touchID. With the families of sharing and permission requests that can be sent to the parent's phone, it would be great if the same might work for mountain BIKING. I LOVE apple products and the ATV but it is a deal breaker for me.

  It is a bad user experience I've resorted to dive into my old (3rd generation) ATV up to what an update is published.

• Since update 10.0.2 at 6s "trash all ' in the Inbox.

  Since I did the update (10.0.2) I can no longer just "trash all ' mail inbox (Verizon).  Because I get emails 300 + a day, I need to be able to empty my Inbox easily without deleting all of them individually.  It is very irritating and time consuming.
