Update 9.3.2 brick my iPad Pro

As in many others, my iPad Pro (9.7) was 'bricks' of update yesterday (9.3.2).

I'm stuck with the 'plug into iTunes' screen, and any attempt to download the restore option does nothing.

If anyone has any information on a fix, please let me know.

No need to answer 'me too'... " or Apple bashing to release a faulty update, I'm sure that there are many other people in this situation, I hope that this thread can deal with a solution.

Thank you!

Your device is under warranty. Take it back to the Apple store. Apple will fix the device or get you a replacement. Let the update by the Apple store. Regardless of a hardware or software problem Apple owns the issue. Apple getting involved. If store staff do the update and there is a problem then that will attract the attention of Apple faster than posting on this forum.

  • Safari doesn't allow me to file the forms or connect to sites on my iPad Pro

I are looking for an answer online for a few months and still not found anything.  All of a sudden, after that back two updates (don't remember details) my iPad Pro stopped allowing me to ship to form and you connect to Web sites for which I have passwords.  I had to install Chrome on my iPad to access websites that require log ins (and don't really like to do that).

When put passwords in (and Yes, they are correct), it brings back me to the page password prompt as if I did not enter anything.  There is no message "incorrect" password

When I go to fill out a form online (of any kind) it DOES not when it is clicked.  Simply, it remains stagnant or tells me that the CSRF token is invalid and that I must return the form (when there is a recaptcha or similar item to check that I'm not indeed not a robot.  I assure you, I'm very human).

I really hope someone out there can help me with this problem.  It is about me.  None of my other devices (including phone or Mac) have been affected in this way then it seems to be a problem of the iPad.

  • iOS 9.2 causing lag in Logitech Create keyboard for iPad Pro

iOS 9.2 has considerably weakened the Logitech Create keyboard for iPad Pro performance. He had been immediately sensitive - one of the best features that the combo made feel like a laptop. With 9.2 key strokes are interrupted at left and right, and there is a noticeable shift in the key that appears on the screen. Very, very frustrating. I seen it referred to in this thread:

Re: Pro iPad smart keyboard shortcuts stop working

And I saw a mention on Twitter too. What is going on? Did someone talked with Logitech?

I'm having the same problem. After that 9.2 updated Logitech Keyboard create on my iPad Pro is essentially unusable because I'll have to go back and difficulty both dropped by strikes, rearranged, letters, etc. There is also a noticeable delay when I type when the characters appear on the screen where before it was instant. Must be something software related because it was just after the 9.2 update he started to arrive.

First make sure you have the latest version of iTunes (12.5.1), otherwise download then from Apple and install or update. Connect your iPad to your computer and open iTunes.  It should invite you to re - install iOS. It takes a while, but to download the file and install ok.

I had 2 devices are similarly and with patience, he worked through.

  • update problems with apps on iPad Pro

MY iPad Pro can is more updated applications.

Your question is a bit like going to the doctor and saying "to the rescue!  I'm sick! »

We know nothing about the circumstances of your question.  Have what specific measures you tried?  Have what behavior you seen?  This behavior didn't you saw that you expected?  You were on a good WiFi connection?  Have you tried to reset your iPad?  Did ever plug you your iPad in iTunes?  If so, what version of iTunes?

  • Update of the MacBook Pro for iPad Pro?

I'm looking to replace my MacBook Pro (MBP) for a new iPad Pro. Apart from the obvious differences that exist between operating systems, i.e. OSX El Capitan vs iOS (9)

Are there specific functions or tasks that cannot be performed on an iPad Pro, which can be done on the MBP?

When it comes to streaming music (Spotify) and video (Youtube, Netflix, Amazon, BBC iplayer etc), will all these without downloading additional software, Flash drives or iOS apps for the iPad?

Any constructive comments will be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Most OS X applications with versions of iOS will have reduced functionality located in iOS (for example. (Pages, Numbers, MS Office applications).  iOS is now supported split screen for some applications (not all), but it offers no true multitasking. iOS supports NO FLASH - never has and probably never will be.  Some 3rd party browsers or proxy subscription services offer alternatives to that, but it's not exactly a replacement for FLASH native.  It's the same for Java applications.

iOS is not addressable accessible file system or cross-app of the user, as OS X.  iOS apps are sandboxed to sand and largely unable to interact with eachother or every-other data.

Honestly, even though I love my iPad Pro and use every day for staff and job tasks, it is NOT a true replacement for a desktop computer / laptop.  If your use is very specifically limited to certain iOS apps or certain types of applications that are very conducive to a tablet OS, you should be fine with just an iPad, but if not, you will find you want always a laptop or desktop computer, at least for certain tasks or the types of applications.

Please also note, that iOS devices, like any electronic mass storage, must be saved if you care about your data at all.  Without a computer, your only backup option is to iCloud online backups.  Solutions available iCloud for photography, however, NO do not replace true or complete for archiving your photos elsewhere for guard - should photo be archived elsewhere (computer, another Cloud Computing service) regardless of your choice of iCloud photo service (s).  A computer is a perfect solution for a backup of redundant iOS device using iTunes and iCloud for backups.  A computer is also required to restore an iOS device in the case of a corrupt system, update, install or some other potential recoverable occsionally disaster.

Note users that allows to remove the package downloaded in this situation. Go to settings > general > storage & use iCloud > storage management > you will see the downloaded 9.3, select which > delete.

My 5s then will check for new software update. Note that it shows download & install instead of install only. Select that and it will ask for your password. Let it run until complete depending on your internet speed (mine took about 5 minutes and I didn't let the screen change). Once completed, he must check and installed automatically.

  • iPad Pro stuck on the updating of the iCloud settings

I just had an iPad Pro, all set up and restored from a backup in iTunes. Now, he says "updating settings iCloud" and has been slain on this screen for more than 30 minutes.

I tried the home and power buttons and restore the factory settings, but whenever I get to this screen it is still blocked.

Any suggestions? Should I wait it out and see what happens?

If your previous DVICE had a lot of documents, videos and iCloud Libray Photo activated, it will take some time for the new device yo restore all files. Leave it alone for a while (during the night) or even longer if you have a fairly large library of Photos.

The applications are not part of the backup. They must be re-uploaded, so if you have a lot, which will also take some time.

IBooks on ipad pro crash after IOS updated with 9.3.1.please

I have the same problem after update 9.3 OS on my Ipad 2... Crashing in IBooks. PDF and missing books. I have access to my books for about a minute before it crashed.

It still occurs with the 9.3.1 update.

I don't really know where to go then except put it there the 9.3.1 upgrade did not fix my problem.

Thinking that I might have to consider for an Apple Tech which is an expense I really don't think I should have to bear, because I did not cause the problem that everything worked fine with my iBook before upgrading the OS 9.3.
