Update Eclipse shooting guard for password site

I am trying to download a pack of components for my plugin Eclipse v1.1Beta. I use the following update site: http://www.blackberry.com/go/eclipseUpdate/3.5/java. Update site shooting guard for password and I continue in my forum u/p. Eclipse seems to download all the files, but in the end, the update fails hard at 'too many failed connection attempts.

How can I work around this problem?

OK - got around that. Opened a new account to Developer Zone, used the new u/p, and all is well.

  • Stop asking save passwords for NEW sites, still keep filling passwords for sites ALREADY SAVED

So here's my problem. I have a handful of site where I leave FF save/fill in my password and user name information. For these sites, I WANT FF for save and continue to fill my login information. However, I do not want FF to save my credentials for ANY OTHER SITE.

Now while I have my login information stored in FF for these websites, if I disable "Remember passwords for sites" in Security Options, FF continues to fill my login information for these sites (despite the fact that it has always recorded info). Once I re - check this option, FF starts to fill in my password again.

AFAIK, disabling of "do not forget passwords for sites" is the only way to get FF to stop asking me if I want to have save my password, but if I do that it will also stop filling the passwords that I've saved.

So, is there a way either:
    (A) have "Passwords sites Remember" disabled, but that FF inserts passwords I already saved it, or
    (B) have 'passwords to Remember sites"enabled, but STOP asking me to save passwords for all new Web sites?

I want to ONLY FF to register AND fill the passwords that I've saved. I don't want to be prompted to save passwords for all new sites either.

Is this possible? Maybe an add-on or about: config setting I could change?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Why firefox repeatedly asked if I want to save a password when I already clicked ever "for this site?

I like the fact that Firefox will save my passwords, but I don't want that to record the essential password like banking etc. When I enter my banking website, Firefox asks "I want to save this password". I click "never for this site". But the next time I'm on my Bank's Web site, he asks me the same question again and again.

Is there a way I can stop Firefox do this? Either way, my bank site never appears in the 'Exceptions' box (to the saved passwords).

I pay my bills online and I saved passwords when prompted now I think it was a bad idea. How to cancel these passwords for banking sites and credit card?

You can remove connections that are saved by using the Options dialog box:

"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > Security > "saved passwords".

If you have a master password, you might be asked enter it again to do this.

  • Single-pass does not work for Web sites after the last update of firefox

Single-pass does not work for Web sites after the last update of firefox. This works in IE and Chrome and it works under windows (when starting the computer), but not with any website in Firefox.

Firefox 30 spent some less commonly used "Always turned on" plugins "asking to activate. To check and change this to SimplePass, you can use the page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click on Plugins. Then on the right, check the control on the right side of the SimplePass.

You may need to exit Firefox and start it again before it takes effect.

  • 28 worm problem save password for a site

I tried to get FFox to save the password on a site and it is a failure. I enter username, password, have the Save checked password and click login. Does not work.

I went on another site and tried. She appeared in another window asking me if I wanted to save info. That one works fine. This window doesn't have a popup on the failed site.

I checked the saved passwords. There were about 5 (so it works). Accidentally, I clicked on delete all, then oops on that. NP. Start all over again. I checked the security options are set properly (remember passwords for sites). I'm not in a private browsing session. I can save cookies. I checked exceptions. None. I have no added extra Password Manager tool. The only thing I added to the original installation was a theme. I just did that today ' today, so the problem was before that. Now, the password manager has article I have just the one I added.

So, it works, but not for this site. And it is NOT an exception in the exceptions list.

Which raises a question or suggestion. In password manager, add the ability to make a new entry. Who'd be probably my problem

    Using FFox 28, 8.1 pro 64-bit windows.
The site that I use is www.sccrow.com. I created a guestpw of reviews and pw userid if someone wants to test. Its a site that's being built, the content so there's nothing close to finished.

Oh Yes. It is not a problem caused by the site. It works in Internet Explorer.
The list below is correct on the extensions.

    Works for me.

The form uses autocomplete = off to stop recording data form as the name and password of Firefox, but in this case, the form is in an iframe and the version of the bookmarklet on the squarefree.com site does not handle this case.

The version on the size of the knowledge base of mozillaZine for iframes facilities (such as the second bookmarklet), then you can use this version or use inspect element context menu and change the autocomplete = "off" to autocomplete = 'on' in these two areas.

You can remove autocomplete = off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox to store data of form such as names and passwords.

Note that Firefox doesn't form data automatically populate automatically saved when autocomplete = off is used, you must double-click the empty name field for a drop-down list.

  • In my list of registered passwords/user names, my user name for some sites is listed as "password" instead of my real username. He does not save my user name or password for these sites, even if I told.

I have a forum site that I visit at least a few times a day and I told both the site and the firefox popup to remember my username and password. He used to save, but it stopped working in recent weeks. When I go to my saved usernames and passwords (Tools-> options-> Security-> saved passwords), it shows the username for this site as "Password" (obviously NOT my username). I tried the white list of the site (in case my flash blocker was the problem), reload the page and eliminate information saved and entering again. So far I have not been able to find something that works.

Try to use the extension of the saved password Editor, which allows you to change the existing passwords and manually add new.
