1. are you able to download on the internet or not able to install on your computer?
2. what happens when you try to download?
3 do you have problems with the update to Windows 7 upgrade?

Step 1:
If you are not able to download it on the internet, try to download from the link below:

Step 2:
Once the download is complete, I suggest you to put the computer in a starting state in minimum mode and then install the update.

Note: When you're done to diagnose, follow step 7 in the article to start on normal startup.

  • Cumulative update for Windows Vista...

There are several updates, called "Cumulative Security Update for Windows Vista" that whenever I have download interrupts me to use Internet Explorer 7. I have no problem download from this but find myself constantly having to uninstall these updates after installation. It's a hassle and they never go (which means that I always wonder to install). When I say cut, I mean I open the browser, but it gives me an error of loading of the page. I have a WiFi connection and make sure that I am connected, but it still says that I'm not. I also have problems with Internet Explorer 8, which after installation cannot be used because it gives me an error of loading of page and constantly suggests that I am not connected to the internet. I'd love to have my laptop Compaq in the shape of the top end and as secure as can be but I can't with these issues, and often, I decline to make the updates for this reason. If you can help me with these questions, because I promise you that I have did everything in my power so please do! If not, then I can live with this POS a bit longer ;)

    Thank you in advance!

You should have (1) uninstalled Norton free trial, (2) download / run the Norton removal tooland then (3) installed Webroot Antivirus with Spysweeper (?) BEFORE the Norton free trial period had expired. (Too late now).

NB: The Norton free trial will be reinstalled (but invalid) when Windows is reinstalled. You MUST uninstall the trial for free AND download/run the Norton removal tool before installing updates, Windows Service Packs or updates to IE AND BEFORE installing your new antivirus application (for example, Webroot Antivirus with Spysweeper).

  • I downloaded and installed and updated for Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. I have received a warning that a file is missing or damaged. What's past and how to fix my computer running again?

I have my computer set up to warn me about available updates.  I downloaded the update for Windows Vista Edition full and proceeded with the installation.  To restart my computer, I receive a message that a file is missing or damaged and reinstall drive does nothing.  I bought the computer from a colleague about 3 years ago and until recently just used it to play DVDs and music.   In July, my son set up a wireless network I can use internet on this computer and my main on a floor.  What happened and how do I get my second working computer?    File: ntoskrn1.exe, status: 0xc0000098.

  • Why I repeatedly get a security update for Windows Vista for systems (KB2676562) and update for Windows Vista (KB2679255) focused on the x 64 even after that both have been installed successfully?

update of security (KB2676562) has already been correctly installed 21 times, began towards the end of May.  Update for Windows Vista (KB2679255) was successfully installed 35 times, he began in mid-April.  These two continue to update themselves every day and do it at least twice a day, back to back.  It is very frustrating to have to deal with that and makes me think that something may be a problem with my computer.  I had heard of registry cleaners is not not a good thing to use, if recently I not unhooked my registry free cleaner.  I hope that it has not caused my computer to lose any registry key values.  Does anyone know a possible solution or what I need to do? Any help appreciated

After reading the process to carry out a repair for Vista installation, I was not confident I could do given my lack of COMPUTER skills and feared that I would have done something wrong.  But while browsing the site there are other suggestions that I adopted. For example, I downloaded Registry Booster, ran the System File Checker (which I had already done but thought, no harm to do again), and other suggestions are in response to similar questions like mine.  I also ran an another Chk Dsk (I also run this previously).  To restart, as he was driving through the verification process, he said,' windows replaced bad cluster in file name \window\winsxs\x8A9C8~1.226\ 8915cambria.ttc'.  And I was happy, because it was the file you advised has been damaged.  I don't know exactly how it happed, as I said, I had perfomred chk dsk a numer of times before.  I was successfully able to install the update for Window Vista KB980248!  I was so happy after all the anxiety.

Thank you very much Andrew, for your time, assistance and patience. Very much appreciated.

  • Help: update for Windows Vista (KB971644) _ platform

    Greetings:

I keep getting told that the update above wants to be installed.  I tried to install it about 5 times and every time the system does the following:

    1 download the software
    2 install the software
    3. wonder to reboot the machine (which I do)
    4. in step 3 of the process, he confgures the downloaded software
    5. said that something was wrong with the configuration of the software... no error code.  just something went wrong.
6 restores the system to the point of departure.
    7 restart the system

This is getting frustrating... my system has very well updated with each produced Vista fix.  is there a way to bypass this update or can I get windows update in order to stop telling me that this update is available?

  • Cannot install the update for Windows vista (KB2718704) a safe mode or after clean window reboot

I can't install the update for Windows vista (KB2718704), a mode without failure or after clean window reboot.

    What should I do?

    Hello

    ·         Did you do changes on the computer before the show?

    ·         You get the error message?

    ·         You are able to install other updates successfully?

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Temporarily disable the security software .

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 2: Put the computer in a clean boot State to see if there is a software conflict as the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After completing the steps in the clean boot troubleshooting, follow step 7 the link to start the computer to a Normal startupmode.

Method 3: You can also manually install updates (KB number) by downloading from the Microsoft Download Center.
