  • Receive updates for Office 2007 after uninstall

My computer came with a trial version of Office 2007. I uninstalled it in the coming days, having never actually used Office 2 k 7. I continue to receive important updates in Windows Update for Office 2007. I was just hiding them because there is no need to install, but the frequency of these updates, it is embarrassing for a product that I don't even have on my computer.

How can I stop Windows Update to download updates for Office 2007?

    wanderr,
You have a different version of Office installed?  If so, it is possible that some of the updates are also for an earlier version of Office and not only Office 2007.  Here are some things that you might want to take a look at for help with this issue.

  • Stuck at 0% - even after a clean install Windows Update

    Hi guys,.

I am aware that there are various other posts on the same question, however, I think mine is unique.
I have 144 updates to Windows that will not download and will remain at 0%. I did everything I could to try to resolve this issue - including making a refresh and a clean reset/install of windows 8, but none of it worked.

I am aware that there may be files that are corrupt, but if this is the case, would not have done a clean install/reset windows to fix this?

"I tried different methods including attempts to install the updates one at a time, but this does not work either, they all remain at 0% complete.

I'll be very grateful if this has been resolved that it is forbidding me download windows 8.1 and reserving my copy of windows 10!

    Thank you very much
    :)

    Try this:

    1. open a command prompt

    2. type the following command and press ENTER: DISM.exe/online/Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    3. once the order is completed, the results here and try to check the updates again

  • Firefox crashes even after a clean install of Windows

    Hey!

My Firefox keeps crashing. It starts up ok, but still crashes shortly after. I do not see a pattern in accidents, it seems random. Strange thing is that I had this problem before with Win7 and now he persists after installation clean full of Win10. The two hard drives formatted, no old files or anything left... It crashes in safe mode, too. On Win7, I could get locked out of the browser. Sometimes he would start crashing whenever I started the browser. A reboot has allowed me to once again successfully launch Firefox, but it would soon break without worrying. He crashed on the clean install of Firefox and crashed after that I installed Adobe Flash.

The crash began perhaps a few days previously, I think not that a lot of it initially. Now, however, it drives me nuts; It is basically impossible to navigate. Firefox browser my go-to for years and I would rather go to another.

    Here are a few crash reports: 4b05df7c-24d3-49e3-a13f-c9d57aca3cf0 bp-775561fc-4d6c-48a5-8c6b-e3af42161108 43d377a7-ea92-4c37-b717-84a562cd2d36 bp-09b21c04-8640-44ed-a261-a98f12161108 bp-9726e46d-d041-4fba-b905-f92682161108 fb6d8a28-79c6-4cab-b4c1-096778ca49e8

You will appreciate all help to the problem.

Seems that the problem is solved by itself. Not a single accident today. I don't have any idea of that which could have fixed, or what caused it in the first place. Curious, but no matter, I'm a happy camper now. I wish all support forums it was effective.

I try to install IIS on my Windows 7 Professional machine and I get the error message "an error has occurred. Not all features have been installed correctly. »

  • Since Windows 8 my taskbar don't auto hide more, even after you have changed the settings.

Just upgraded to Windows 8 and my bar tasks don't hide now, even after clicking on auto-hide settings, I tried applying ok then ' ing, and I tried to get rid of any notification, but usually disappear again :/

Any help would be thank you very much.

One of the common culprits that breaks auto-hide is the center of the Action.

To test: click the Action Center icon in the system tray (it's the icon of white flag), when the window pops up to close it. If the taskbar mask that was the likely culprit.
You can turn off the center of the Action via the control panel > Notification area icons > the system tray icons turn on or off > Action Center in the OFF position.
  • x 64 updates for Vista, having a few problems installing security.

It is not my machine, but I don't have admin access. I am trying to run updates, but I continue to turn in "impossible to update", one of the error codes was "80240016. I saw the other codes of error on previous tests, but I has not documented the. These updates are related, so I guess I should go beyond this disruption of security. I also tried to run the (downloaded version) of the hotfix, but that too hung up and would not complete.

After completing the update of Microsoft Security Essentials, I did a full scan and it did not find anything. I am running online scanner Eset as I type this and he found only up to here a threat potential 'win32/toolbar.asksbar", but I guess that's not what is causing the prevention of security updates.

Just a time saver; I don't want to try all hotfixes commercial third-party fact - they never to work. There must be a patch or hotfix availible directly from Microsoft

Thank you for your time in advance.
