I am looking to update my graphics card for my PC. Those who would be the best for my computer?

    Gamer30, welcome to the forum.

I think that your handle explain what you want to do with the new video card.  Therefore, in my opinion, you have to upgrade the power supply (PSU), also.  The existing PSU is 300W.  Latest intermediate level maps require a minimum of 400 w to work properly.  These cards will be much better than the integrated video.

I like Corsair and OCZ PSU.  They are of high quality.  Here's one that should fit in the space provided and give some future upgrade room.  I would normally recommend at least 500W, but 500 or 600 w will work as well for your situation.  The computer does not use any more power there need work properly.  As a result, won't hurt the computer. I recommend you measure the PSU existing and comparing measures to whichever you choose.

I like the graphics cards XFX, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY in that order.  Here is one that you will give a boost to good performance and won't break the Bank.  I recommend you stay less than 9 "long.  This ensures that it fits in the space provided.

If you don't like one of the recommendations I have made, they will give you at least an idea of what works in your computer.  Always read the reviews to see what users have to say about any product you decide to buy.

  • Update graphics card for Studio XPS 8100 with 600W PSU

    Hello

I just joined the forums of Dell and I was wondering if I could get help for choosing a new graphics card for my studio xps 8100.

I just bought a power SUPPLY Corsair 600w PSU and was looking for a good graphics card for games (something which runs the games current and near future at the top or above), preferably between 70 and 100 pounds. I took a look at the Geforce GTX 650, and I think that the power supply 600w she'll be fine, but I wasn't sure whether she would be fit in my office. Any advice on the appropriateness of the GTX 650 will fit / work, or any recommendation of something better, would be great.

    See you soon

    Hello Oni21,

My apologies for the delay in response and if was not clear in my previous post. I wanted to say before you buy the GTX650, take the computer to a local store and check if the graphics card works on the system.

Please write again if you have any additional questions.

  • Update graphics card for my HP Pavilion p7-1534

I almost had my PC for a year now. I am looking for a good gfx card update that will allow me to run some high senior graphic games smoothly on graphics settings. Battlefield, ArmA, GTA are examples of games... Games like this. I know that I will also need to upgrade the power supply with the new card. If you could show me a few good cards and supplys power which would best adapt to what I'm looking for. Thank you.

P.S. Try to stay as close as possible to $400. I'm not trying to spend too much more than that.

    Hello

Feeding Corair CX500, or CX600 will best fit inside your PC and will have enough power for most video cards.

I run BF3 using a NVIDIA EVGA GTX 660 upstairs to the Ultra no problems at 1920 by 1080 resolution. In addition, if you want your PC to run in UEFI mode you can get an EVGA patch to enable this feature.

JATON video-339PCI-HLX Radeon HD 5450 512 MB 64-bit DDR3 card should work and this ZOTAC ZT-60604-10 L GeForce GT 610 512 MB 64-bit DDR3 PCI card should work, but in both cases, you will need to upgrade the stock of 250 Watt PSU to something like the Corsair CX430 PSU.

  • Update graphics card for particular game

Hi, I want to play the Sims 3 on the highest settings (all settings the most) and I wanted to know what graphics card it would play flawless. I have a HP Pavilion dv7-4190US, 6 GB RAM, win7 HP 64 bit, 1 TB HDD, i7 Q720 @ 1.60 GHz turbo boost 2.8 GHz and ATI mobility radeon HD 5650 graphics card. I wanted to update for a while now and want one that will manage this game to its fullest.

    Hello

    1. actually you can upgrade the video card on some laptops if you wish, please read these:

    http://www.PCWorld.com/article/148909/upgrading_your_laptops_graphics_card.html

    http://www.notebookcheck.NET/Upgrade-replace-a-notebook-video-card.3236.0.html

But it is an expensive and risky exercise. Why not spend more to buy a portable game correct. How much are you willing to spend? With about US $2,000, you can buy very good mobile games.

    2. for the CPU, we can improve ourselves given the new CPU is in the same family.

    Kind regards

  • Update graphics card for want h8-1534

I recently bought a card 750ti gtx for this computer, and the built-in sound is now disabled. That, I understand that will happen as the graphics card also has a part of the sound card to him. Now, I don't have a HDMI screen with sound, and I do not want to buy one, while the road is not an option for me.

My question is: is it possible to activate the force integrated sound, or should I absolutely no other alternative than to use its own sound card now?

Also: the power supply was upgraded with no problems, the graphics card works fine with it. In the bios for this motherboard (angelica2) there is no option to turn on its built-in on for me, it is just not there.

It turns out that the issue was simply a poor quality diet.

I think the lesson here is to don't skimp is not on your PSU as I did, you will make savings yourself in trouble if you get something good.

  • HP Pavilion Elite h8 - 1070t: updated graphics card for HP Pavilion Elite h8 - 1070t

Up to what series Gtx is compatible with this model on computer? I tried to install a Gigabyte Gtx 960 card to my pc and it was not compatible. I have read similar problems for older models of PC and I was wondering the compatibility for this particular model range.  In addition, Gtx 750ti will be compatible with this model?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Your PC is a PC old BIOS and most new graphics cards are active UEFI.

Most, if not all of the NVIDIA GTX 7xx and 9xx series graphics cards with some exceptions will not work on your PC. The BIOS of your PC is not compatible with these graphics cards.

The NVIDIA GTX 660 with a 600 Watt power supply will be all that you can do better.  The NVIDIA GTX 670 and 680 can also work, but they can be finicky in older PCs.

  • Update graphics card for Satellite A10

Can I update my graphics card in my laptop?

If so, what type of card can I buy and where to buy?

If this is not the case, how can I increase the use of the memory of the graphics chips on board?
When I check with the graphics controller, it shows
    Maximum graphics memory: 64 M
    minimum graphics memory: 15 M
graphics memory in use: 17 M

    Hello

officially, you can't put the graphics card.
Theoretical, you need a graphics chip with the same chipset and a driver that works on laptops. It is not easy to find (if it really exists).
Then I suggest to not not to do that.

On your on-board video memory, you don't need to do anything. The card will automatically take as much as it takes up to 64 MB of memory.

    Good bye

  • Need info on updating graphics card for Satellite P25 s507

Can someone give me a list of a toshiba satellite p25 s-507-compatible graphics cards? for example, is a "nvidia geforce 6800 go" ultra compatible?
    10 x a lot

I guess you want to know which graphics cards are compatible, because you want to upgrade the graphics card. Am I wrong?
As you probably know, mobile technology is not the same as the desktop PC simply and it s is not possible to replace or change the graphics card.

Especially chips are set on the map and it of not possible to improve it. Also the BIOS, chipset utilities and other application would not accept the new graphics card.
