Update installations of Windows Live problems.

Windows Live essential (KB2434419)

I continued to receive messages several times a day I have to install the updates and then says "could not install the program - you already have a taste of different construction of Windows Live."  These are essential and if not how can I stop the next bubble?

  • Cannot find MSN Messenger in the new installation of Windows Live Essentials 2011.

I had MSN Messenger until I get WLE 2011. Had a problem with my installation of Windows Live Essentials 2011. I had a full unistall and then re - installed. Finally got right. I am running XP, with upgrade to Office 2010. After installing Windows Live Essentials 2011, it shows I have messenger, but now I can't find a way to get it on my desktop or the taskbar. In msconfig, I show it as a startup program, but I don't see it anywhere. I can go to the C drive and find a folder in Program Files marked Messenger, but it does not help me. I have messenger when I log on Windows Live, but it's the only place where I have. I would like to come back to my office. How can I do?

Maybe it's too late and you already found the solution, but go to your C drive on your computer, select program files, you will see the windows folder, open it and you'll see the Messenger, right click and create a shortcut on your desktop. should work

  • Printing problems after the installation of Windows Live Essentials update

I am running Windows Vista 64 Home Premium version and had been successfully using an all-in-one HP PSC 2355 printer until yesterday, I installed Windows Live Essentials. Photos, in particular, never get to the file printing.  The TEst Page from Windows printer shows printer is installed correctly. Have tried to reset the printer (unplugging / plugging) without success. Have not found new drivers for the printer.  What should I check before I agree to replace the printer?

Thanks for your suggestions.   I uninstalled WLE and my printing problems seem to be resolved.  Not really sure how useful WLE was and I received the long ok without it.

When I asked questions on this topic in the Microsoft Help Center, it tells me first UN-install the Windows LIVE, and then re - install it... • Standalone installer of Windows Live Writer?

    Hello

I want to install Windows Live Writer on my Vista Home Premium machine.

I currently have Messenger (8.5.1302.1018) installed, which I am very happy with.  I have absolutely no interest to install the latest version of Messenger because I don't think much at all.

As Live Writer is part of the essential elements (I think his name) Installer, he refuses to allow me to install the writer without update of Messenger.

Can someone tell me how I am able to access an independent Installer for Writer?  Or if there is a method I can use to bypass or avoid this 'all-in-one' Installer do not touch my Messenger installation.

I searched high and low for this and am unable to find a solution.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Tom

Original title: on a portable 2 day old when you try to use windows live mail, I get an error 0x8E5E0247 something to do with corrupt calendar data?

I also noticed that windows Messenger does not more that windows update does not work

I tried a full system restore, but the problems are the same

I also tried to uninstall and reinstall windows live

2 day old laptop, what you have done for her? If MSUpdate does not either you messed around with the settings for the laptop or theres some problem with her fundimental.

You might be better advised to restore to "as provided" with your recovery CD, then when his kick, change the settings for important MSUpdate updates ONLY. Then when the system is completely updated PC operation check * before * you try to install all software. (It's not a system restore)
