  A few videos that use the Flash plugin contain a menu entry in the context menu that allows to disable hardware acceleration in flash player.

  To disable the mode you will need to edit the file C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\mms.cfg as explained in the knowledge base article protected.

• Missing CD drive and Audio output. Compaq Pressario V600

  Hi all

  Need help with my daughters laptop Compaq Presario V600. It worked perfectly until recently and all night, lost the CD/DVD drive and sound card

  I have searched and tried all sorts of fixes to look in the Device Manager to remove the cd and then drive re-booting the PC (but there is no CD/DVD not listed anywhere in the Device Manager) I tried to delete upper and lower filters in the registry (courtesy of Microsoft) , but does nothing. According to the Device Manager and search him in the PC there is no CD/DVD or an audio output device installed tried to start in safe mode to search for drivers... still nothing

  I searched on the site of HP/Compaq drivers and DL the driver audio and installed, still nothing... really don't know where to turn. Anyone able to help? My daughter fell into a PC repair shop who said it was one of those things with tops to turn Compaq...

  Then just back up the case selector and type what you want.

  A normal behavior of the audio configuration is:

  (1) the disabled speaker, microphone disabled volume

  (2) when you plug a headphone 4 pin, the headphone volume is running, microphone of the headset is turned on; the speaker volume is always turns off.

  (3) when you unplug the headphones, the volume of the speakers is always 0

  After each start up, the audio channel is 0, but don't commute between the helmet when it is plugged!

  I have to open the Control Panel, properties of realtek. With this window, disconnect and reconnect the headset. Now the volume has its normal behavior.

  Anyone experience this? You have a reversal or a better way to configure the audio channels and events, which is able to bypass the realtek Manager?

In fact the video and Audio can now be read / listened to on my HDTV via HDMI. However, I have a separate 2.1 computer speaker system, which has much better sound output than my HDTV. Now if I want to see the video on HD TV via HDMI and audio output to speakers for laptop (connected to the 3.5 mm wired 2.1 speaker system), how to do that. I went to SmartAudio settings in the Control Panel, but there is no option of separates HDMI audio to the speakers only.

  I don't want to buy another cable with RGA Audio Converter 3.5 mm female port. Please suggest a direct solution.

  in win 7 do a right-click on the speakers on your lower right corner icon, select playback devices, click on speakers, click on set default, click OK and it should work (sound must come from your computer speakers or the computer 3, 5mm jack)

• I've updated to El Capitan and Safari does not work

Just, it isn't really access all Web sites (it does from time to time but stall and take forever to load it all) and says that Safari does not and so I have to force quit. I tried to remove all of the plug-ins and extensions, but that didn't fix it. I also just installed the update and that it did not set or the other. I don't know what to do. Chrome works very well. I'm reluctant to delete my browsing history, because there are things in there I need. Who will fix the problem? I just wanted to see if there was an alternative first. Thanks in advance.

  Please read this message before doing anything.

  This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don't be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

  Step 1

  The goal of this step is to determine if the problem is localized to your user account.

  Select the feedback connections* and log in as a guest. Do not use the Safari connection only 'user comments' created by 'find my Mac '.

  While signed in as a guest, you will have access to your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you use them for the first time. Do not be alarmed by this behavior; It's normal. If you need any password or other personal information in order to complete the test, save, print, or write them before you start.

  Test while signed in as a guest. Same problem?

  After testing, log on to the guest account and in your own account, disable it if you wish. The files that you created in the guest account will be automatically deleted when you log out of it.

  * Note: If you have enabled 'find my Mac' or FileVault, then you cannot activate the guest account. The login 'User comments' created by 'Find my Mac' is not the same. Create a new account to test and delete it, including his home folder, after testing.

  The login screen is displayed even if you normally connect automatically. You need your password to log on. If you have forgotten the password, you will have to reset it before you begin.

  Test in safe mode. Same problem?

  After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and make sure you always have the problem. View the results of steps 1 and 2.
