Update of IOS of Apple - more and more and more

Why this inflated 9.2.1 update must download for each device to make the update.  I have an iPhone 6, a 5 and a iPad - for each of these devices rather that to recognize that it has already downloaded it has inflated the excessive file and simply using this one, it seems downloads iTunes all the fat and bloated day file three times.  Seriously, I'm not sure if it's just something I'm doing wrong, or just another example of Apple user experience very poor and total disregard for the OS file size file size of update and does not every client has unlimited internet data?  2017 will be the year of Android at this rate, I find myself just sounding like a troll because it's so frustrating to own apple products these days.

Yes, you are a troll.

iOS is not the same for all Apple devices, even if they are compatible.

You can update directly on devices using OTA and it will be much lower because Apple knows what device is updated.

In regards to Android, you don't update at all. You have all the bugs & security for free.

Are you sure that the update has caused the problem? If so, I think that a restore may be the best solution.

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo of iTunes on the screen of your device. After that on your computer, you should see the iTunes window saying that your device needs to be restored to factory settings. Click Restore.

  • Why my 6s Iphone says that I used 44,59 GB of data and documents when I don't have? Recently updated to iOS 9.2.1 and having problems.

I bought the new 6 s iPhone with 64 GB of storage in December. A few days ago I updated to iOS 9.2.1 and I got a notification the next day saying that my storage was almost full. I was shocked because I have not yet used half of the 64 GB and before I upgraded to the latest updated everything worked well. Also, on a side note, game Center does not work and when I try to open the app it's just a blank screen and when I go into settings, click on the play icon, it does not even open.

Back to the problem of storage, I don't not even use a lot of my storage upward. Look at the photo for reference. This photo was taken after I updated.

So I am very confused right now with my phone and I have only had it a month ago and it's already the case. It does not make sense to me to have only 4.84 GB free. I used 6,76 Go on applications, and I have 20 apps and I understand that, but whence this other 44 gb?

Why do we say I used 44,59 GB of data and documents when I don't? Could be a problem due to the update to iOS 9.2.1?

Connect your phone to iTunes on your computer and see what the ability the bottom bar shows for storage. You can have one large amount of 'other' data which may indicate a corrupted sync or corrupted update. If you have backed up with iTunes before you update, try to restore the backup.

Take a look at the Board to the alarm user.

  • Updated software iOS 9.3.3 and stop receiving notifications of the iPad

I updated my iPad 2 for iOS 9.3.3 and stop receiving notifications or imessages. The do not disturb button is not enabled and the apps are put in place to inform. • Help. I have updated to iOS 9.2.1 and its killed my messages app and iMessages. Help, please

I ignored the 9.2.1 iOS updated for ten days or so closing these annoying pop ups every day. But he updated with on me accepting it last night (how?-I swear to you that I never agreed to update)

so now that I am on iOS 9.2.1 and when I open messages built in app it simply crashes constantly and does not open. Sometimes it freezes forever. Sometimes it crashes immediately. Sometimes, a variation of the two.

one solution supposed to toggle the use of iMessages and off in settings. Then I disabled iMessages. Then when I tried to turn it back on imessage again, he asked for my Apple ID and password, I entered and press the sign in button. but then it just freezes when I press on sign in - and the application settings remains frozen indefinitely with the sign in iMessage window open.

So I have now 2 numbers.

1 jelly iMessage log in settings so I can't connect to use my e-mail address for iMessages. That is irrelevant at this time because:

    2. my built-in message application crashes and freezes and I can send receive view or do anything with the messages.

just a update, I don't accept and did not want to do.

    Help, please

  • Updated to iOS 9.3.4 and lost all my favorites across all my devices, iPhone and iPad

The iOS to day of the week on my iPad Air last and he immediately lost all my favorites.  I have 2 other devices on my account an iPhone 5 and an older iPad.  These devices updated afterwards and had bookmarks until updates occurred.  Later devices only updated when I went to look at the bookmarks they appeared for a few seconds and they disappeared.  All devices have no bookmarks.  Cannot find information on this question - anyone have this problem?

    Hi DannoLaLa,

Thanks for checking out the communities Support from Apple! I understand that you are having problems with Safari bookmarks that were deleted on your devices. All the time, I use bookmarks for quick access to my frequently visited websites so I can understand wanting to make sure that you have access to your. I am pleased to provide you with advice for you.

I recommend you take a look at the info in the article below. Specifically, the following information:

If you go to a bookmark that you deleted in the last 30 days, you can recover it from iCloud.com. Just click settings and under Advanced Options, click on restore bookmarks.

Even if bookmarks have been deleted accidentally, you should be able to recover them with these steps.

  • Updated to iOS 10 on ipad and podcast app grabbed 1 G space

After upgrading to iOS 10 my ipad 4 podcast caught 1 G space and I can't delete it, even watch to see what documents and data take up this space.  I use my podcast every day and download talk, one episode at a time and have never used something close to 1 G memory. Now, all of a sudden I use 1 G?

How can I solve this problem?  How will I know what data on this App and how to remove that?

Podcast is an integrated application and can not be deleted, so I am at a loss as to how I release this space

Try these standard troubleshooting steps. Restoration often clears hogs memory stabborn.

-Reset: hold the Home and Power buttons until you see the logo Apple (10-15 seconds).

    -Restore your iDevice: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204184

If your backup is in iTunes, make sure that it is encrypted.

  • I have updated to iOs 9.3.2 and now my phone has no sound

I had been turned off of the update for a while and finally decided to do yesterday.  Once completed the update my phone now no sound then to make or receive calls and has no outside sound trying to watch some videos/listening to music, etc.  Is this a software or peripheral problem and how

    I solve this problem?

It is a problem with your device. Have what troubleshooting measures you tried so far? Have you tried a forced reboot (hold down the HOME and SLEEP buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears).

  • Updated to IOS 10.0.2 and can now make calls

I have upgraded to IOS 10.0.2 this morning on my iphone 5 and now I can't make cell calls - I can get the texts, voicemails, go on the Internet (Safari), but no cell bars!  Has taken my iphone from Verizon, and they installed a new SIM card and also did a reset... still nothing.  Is this a problem with IOS? Others have it?

The ability to make calls is a function of carrier. This wouldn't be a problem to iOS. They should take a look at your cellular account. If you can get text messages and data works, then your account is not properly configured for calls. I suggest you take it to a shop of the company rather than a dealer to have it checked, or call Verizon customer service and explain your situation and what has already been done.

  • updated to IOS 9.3 and can not get the screen acativation

Updated for IOS 9.3 yesterday and can not get past activation screen

There is a known issue with iOS 9.3 and there is still no specific treatment. The ideas below can help, or they may not. It has been a success among others and no simple way to resolve the situation.  You can judge if you want or you can just wait and see if it fixes itself. The problem is most likely on the end of Apple, which means it is not much end users can do until it is resolved.

Some have suggested to go to icloud.com, sign in with your apple ID and remove your device from your cloud account, and then try to activate again.

Others have suggested to simply try to restore the factory via iTunes on your computer settings.

The restoration works for others once they go to iCloud.com and remove their device.

Option 4 is just wait and see when Apple can issue a fix.

You can connect to iCloud here

  • iOS 9.3.2 and gmail

From iOS 9.3.2,and I get some weird stuff with gmail accounts in the Mail application.

I have two gmail accounts, both using my own name domain through Google Apps. For a long time I have accessed times very effectively on both Mac, an iPhone and an iPad. Now one of the two accounts only works on the Mac, not on one of the devices. But the other account is fine on all computers / devices as before.

With one who does not work on the iPhone & iPad - I tried several times on both devices by removing the account and add it again. Nothing works. I either get older mail until a few weeks ago, or no mail at all. And I'm repeated messages suggesting the server rejected password.

The cause is maybe something else than the update of the OS, but it seems reasonable in the circumstances.

    Hi Lance,.

It looks like you are unable to use one of your Gmail accounts after an update to iOS 9.3.2,and but your other Gmail account works as expected. I do not blame you for searching for an answer to that: it is important to have access to your e-mails!

Since you have already been able to delete the account and add it again, you can check the settings of your account with your email provider. In this case, Google provides a resource of support here: signature with an Apple - Google device

After checking that the account settings are correct and setting security depending on options, try adding the account just once more. For your reference, here is the article:

  • iOS 9.3.5 and App Store

As I upgraded 9.3.5 only shopping load the upgrade pages. I am unable to see explored, can't add search for an application, or see recommended charts and top, are still available on OS X on my MacBook but my iPad and iPhone have not App Store work which I suppose has been changed under the update of iOS. Apple seems to confuse this with iTunes app store, but I use iOS App Store.

The app from the App Store on your iOS device is the iTunes App Store in iTunes App on Mac or PC. Apps strictly for iOS devices.

The App Store on your Mac is an another App Store, it's the Mac App Store, but it uses the same iTunes account. Apps strictly for Macs.

Sign out of the App Store, restart your modem/router and your devices and then reconnect.
