  I'm trying to update my Lightroom (6.3) stand-alone version.  When I click on HELP and UPDATES, he waved me creative cloud initially and seems to start automatically updating creative cloud (which I disagree with).  Now, it does nothing.  It seems in the past that I just downloaded the updated version and installed; However, I can't find a link anywhere.  Can someone help me please?  I have no interest in a subscription service.  I want just the latest version of the Lightroom stand-alone version.

  This is the same download for Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC. I can't tell you what to do that signature is concerned because I've never used Lightroom 6. I've only used Lightroom CC. But if you have enabled Lightroom with a serial number for version 6 and then everything you need to do is to use the latest update available on the following Web site:

  How can I find the update link.

  I understand that Lightroom CC is the last direction that adobe has taken. Can I upgrade, and it is worth. From what I found online, Cloud Creative is a monthly subscription.

  I'm not sure what direction I need to go to keep updated in Lightroom. Your answers are appreciated.

  When you try to start, I saw on Saturday 10 June 16 update for Lightroom. The agent helping clicked the update button. After about 20 min... He stopped at 35%. After the restart he stopped again at 35%. When I tried to call support of the website said that the Department was not open until Monday. When I called agent said that they can not extend the trial because I didn't call when it happened.   Your initial installation was probably LR6.0

  The latest version is Lr6.5.1

  You can update from the main menu of LR:

  Help > updates

  Or use the link provided by Axel and go straight to the download for the LR6.5.1

  Just to clarify, Lightroom CC is the monthly subscription type. If you have installed Lightroom CC, then you must make sure that you have updated to the current version which is Lightroom CC 2015.5.The functionality that you are looking for was not in the initial release our Lightroom CC 2015.
