Update of PC Companion by mistake
Hello.
I leave companion pc trying to update itself or I use installer smartphone that download the latest version, the software is TOTALLY Impossible to install the latest version.
I always get stupid error that says that there is a fatal error during installation msi and ask me to fix the problem. Problem that IS NOT exist: all my useful windows services are activated or has started and I can install any msi I want. MSI ALL EXCEPT the latest version of PC Companion.
So, obviously, I can't do something interesting like... put my smartphone update!

I did not such experiences. All I can add, is that:
1. service disabled-> error
2. service enabled, but stopped-> error
3. service active and running-> success

Hi Naim
Start by using another port/USB cable if possible. If this does not work, make sure that you have the latest version of Java installed on your PC. Also, try to temporarily disable any firewall/anti-virus software & start the process again.

Update of PC Companion does not download
Hi guys,.
I recently downloaded PC Companion (2.1) of the sony site to update my newly purchased Xperia E1.
shortly after the installation of this software said its me I need to upgrade to the latest version of PC companion to use it, then ok selected ive updated now, and although its downloaded nothing it's just sitting there ive uninstalled, rebooted and reinstalled the software some time on the 2 last hours and nothing...
is this a bug or what? all I want to do is update the * beep * phone, if it is not is their a direct download link for the latest version of PC Companion?

Unable to update the library item make mistake, & quot; There is no error produced & quot;
Dreamweaver will not update to library items in any profile and generates an error "no error occurred" message when I try to update a page with an existing library item or try to recreate it. If I rename the library item in the components window, that the name of the item is modified on each page, the item exists.
I deleted the files for a couple of profiles .dws, but this makes no difference.
Anyone shed some light on why this is happening?I worked on the issue.
I had recently changed a network connection for the files in the site of a unc path to a mapped directory, but has not changed the local path in site definitions. This doesn't seem to affect access to files for DW or update the model. Seems THAT XP/DW could solve the location very much. But the updates of the library had a problem with that. Once I changed the local path to the directory mapped correctly updated the library items.

New update on the Sony PC Companion. Version 'unknown '.
Suddenly got UPDATES when connected to PC via USB. No notification on the phone. Already the latest firmware from page 1. Checked for update the phone also says the latest version of the software. Can you guys have it too? Now the download update. PC Companion said "a day of phone/tablet is available"
Currently on the latest software: 17.1.1.A.0.402
Check to see if that solves the echo and call bad quality problem...

OK, so I decided to do the free update to windows 10 in windows update but there was a mistake and he couldn't and I clicked it and it says it is the error code and it gave a link for support, so I clicked on that.

has chosen to chat with a technician, or something like that and a cat came and I described my problem, the tech connected to my pc and checked the version of windows and told me I should buy winows 10. I thought why? He said you can install the free full version but I couldn't activate it and some features would not be activated and pushed for me to buy a copy. I asked him how a free upgrade to a version full of paralyzed 10 = inactive and feature windows. And he gave me a sales pitch classic "even, I had to buy it.

3 I think you could reasonably retry the upgrade but do so using a USB installation rather than the upgrade itself.

3.2 prepare the upgrade by making the proposed GenuineTicket file in Clean install Windows 10 directly without having to first upgrade - Windows 10 Forums
- I have no reason to suspect TenForums of publication of poor procedures but I saw not all reports in this forum of users who have tried this procedure.
- When I move from another computer in a few weeks, I'll use this procedure to create the GenuineTicket file but I will consider it as an additional tool that could help me if I hit all activation issues.

Update Bios on Equium L350 now keeps restarting to load windows screen?
Hello guys here is my problem:
Ive got an Equium l350 psld2e and I had a few problems with windows, so I reinstalled xp...
After I finished installing xp I had a few short drivers... like... ethernet controller video controller and a couple more...in any case while searching for these downloads on toshibas website I downloaded an update of the bios (big mistake)... Then the computer restarted automatically after the download and update the Bios...
So after reboot it load up of home toshiba as usual... screen then the screen of windows then bam a quick flash of a blue screen then the computer restarts and repeats this process!What is the solution? Need your help.

It seems that the laptop starts fine but the Windows operating system may not start correctly.
In your case, I recommend once again to start and to access the BIOS.
Here, you must set it to the default settings and must save the changes.In addition, you should boot from the Windows CD and must attempt to reinstall new OS.
If this will not help so I assume that something was wrong during the update of the BIOS and the BIOS should be reflashed again.Unfortunately the BIOS can be reflashed back only by an ASP because ASP can use a traditional BIOS version that allows you to update if you are using external USB FDD drive.

HP z2100: Firmware update would not - is there a way to put the firmware directly on the HARD drive?
I was really happy to correct my hp z2100 today... lala lala and then update firmware to be updated!
What a mistake!
Everything was fine until the end when the printer said it restarts and after that it does not start. I think the drive hard does not have the system on it more and cannot start.
What now?

Maybe it's the same problem, I've had a few years on a Z2100. Updated the firmware and the printer would not restart. Reinstall from cable to the screen, and everything came back OK.

Lenovo companion questions Win10

I've got a S30 of work I upgraded successfully to Win7 64-bit Win10 64 bit. Everything works fine, EXCEPT the companion of Lenovo. Yet, I also have a Yoga S1 which raised Win8 to 10, and it works perfectly fine.
I installed the following:
LenovoID 1.2.1.0
Lenovo 3.0.29.0 settings
Lenovo 3.0.20.0 companion
Foundation of system Lenovo 1.0.044.00 Interface

My main problem is that the system update screen always responds with "there is a problem during the extraction of new updates. "Please try again later".
I tried companion running from a clean boot, always with the same question.
I also disabled all firewall and antivirus to test.

The homescreen of companion seems not ba able to access information on my PC. It says 'OPTIMIZE YOUR FOR' instead of 'OPTIMIZE YOUR THINKSTATION' and ' to be filled by O.E.M' where Yoga have appropriate information and the OS.
This information all appears correctly for my Yoga:
All Lenovo's Apps have been uninstalled and reinstalled.

You must be at Service Pack 3 level before you can use Windows updates.
To determine which service pack is currently installed on your computer, follow these steps:
