  How do you get IE8 to update passwords for a site on which the password has changed without deleting all the passwords?  (Firefox already has this feature.)

  IE8 does not all passwords to update the password for one site in my experience.

  When I change the password to the IOM, it isn't getting updated in OID.
  
  We have not used this feature before, but now we have some applications to authenticate through OID.
  
  I have the required task in the form of the DIO process, but for some reason any that it does not work.

  1. you change the password for the profile of the IOM and save the user form
  2 IOM then checks a report looking for Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS for a task name that is mapped to the password field - typically "Change User Password"
  3. then in the process related to the resource (supply), it has a task that has exactly the same name, ' * change user password * ', and this task takes just the value of the user's data and then assigns the field password in the form of courses
  4. then when the form of courses is updated that triggers a process task to update the password for this account with the resources - often named something like "update password"
  5. then 'update password' has the logic to do everything it takes to make the resource

• After the last update, password synchronization error

  I've just updated to FF 35.0.1 for the immediately previous version. Had already updated the new synchronization and everything worked perfectly. Now on one computer, I get "sync has encountered an error during synchronization: Icorrect account name or password." Synchronize automatically retrying this action. " I check my preferences and it tells me to connect. I try to connect and I get the same error. I know my password is correct, because it works on my laptop and my camera android without error. At some point after trying to connect, I get a notification that "sync is enabled and will begin momentarily", however, I always shows as disconnected and the same error message. This is the computer on which I synchronize all the others, so it is more important that sync works here.

  I am running windows 7 SP1 with all latest updates. My last completed sync with one minute before the update to FF.

• Cannot update password Gmail in Mail

  I've updated the password of my Google account, and now Mail cannot connect to my Gmail account, which it has been connected successfully to until this change.   But the accounts, or in the System Prefs Panel, doesn't have a place to enter the password updated?   Any ideas?

  I'm having a very similar problem. I use the latest version of OS X El Capitan (10.11.3) and Apple Mail Version 9.2 (3112). Today, I decided to turn on audit on my Google account 2-step. After him, the lightning bolt symbol displayed next to the mailbox gmail in Apple Mail. It was expected since I had not yet implemented a password App for use with validation in 2 steps. I set up the App password and received a new password to enter in Apple Mail. Contrary to the instructions, there is no place to put a password in Apple Mail, under Mail > Preferences > 'my Gmail account. I turned off since 2-stage of verification, but the lightning bolt symbol always next to the mailbox (and I'm no longer mail).

  NOTE: My gmail in Mail account was fine before allowing them to work and then turn off the 2 steps of verification. I have never changed my gmail password in Mail and my gmail password still works by connecting to gmail in Safari.

  I tried recording on my Mac several times and restart the job, but the symbol is still not go far. As well as the lightning bolt symbol, in the upper right corner of the Mail window there is an error 'failed to connect '. I find it very interesting that I have no popups invites me to the account (couldn't connect/enter password/etc).

  In Mail, I opened the window > connection doctor and there are red circles next to gmail has IMAP and SMTP, account types which indicates that these account could not connect. The following error message is listed next to each account: "try to connect to the IMAP/SMTP account failed. Verify that the user name and password are correct. "I clicked on"Check again"and has not changed.

  I also checked to see if I could enter my password under Internet accounts system preferences > 'My Gmail account' but there is no place for a password.

  Ready to everything to solve this problem, I've referenced this threadand then open Keychain and remove passwords imap and smtp for gmail account, thinking that I would be invited my password when I tried to put the account in the mail online. However, everything remains the same. I searched Google and can't seem to find a thread that deals with what it is about that.

• Not asked to external hard drive since the update password to 10.11.2

  I have a Seagate external drive attached to my Mac to run the time machine. Until I updated to El Capitan 10.11.2 I enter the password I put in place to access the drive when I booted up the mac. However since the update, I have more to do. I'd rather have the extra security having to enter the password so how can I configure my Mac to go back to that?

  In Keychain Access (login keychain), look for an entry for the external hard drive. Remove the entry if you find.

  He may have gotten 'remind' accidentally.

  I have recently set up the automatic update via Cisco. I entered my CCO username and password via the GUI. As I entered the password, the characters were displayed in the form of points.   Anyone know what is happening, these last 10 + days I have to update my password, even though I haven't changed it.  Once I have fix it and save, I get the e-mails, but then I get the dreaded again message... in this case each houirs 2-3.  Sprint tells me that it's not them and getting help from RIM is impossible

  Thanks for the link, it is easier to do on the PC than on the BB.  The screen looks different (of course) than doing it on the BB, but the information that I can access and edit is exactly the same from the link I would do on my BB.

  I went through the steps to empty and retype the password and I started to receive my emails again.  I'll report tomorrow if that solves the problem or if it is only temporary.

  If this isn't a perminate solution I will try to delete the entire account, then set up fresh and see if it works.

  Since BC stopped providing passwords through custom reports - how to use Import Contact (Advanced) to download data in different fields if I can't download the paswords to a CSV type file in the first place.  Help BC for the import of data indicates that the password field is one that is updated using this method.  That is to say whenever I use the import of the model I have delete all passwords - sounds a little nonsense for me. What is the process for additional inforamtion to CRM import without erasing the passwords, please?

  Yes, I understand the process that I found the link about two weeks without any help from support of the BC.  My problem is that BC support and assistance of BC on the import of data, said that the password is crushed either empty or filled.  It is false and misleading and caused a huge waste of my time and my energy.  No excuse on disinformation were received in aid of data import.  Also what will be the corrected help?
  This level of response and lack of speed was quite unacceptable.

  Hello. I'm trying to update the password for a user via the web services of management of rights, https://{mydomain} / SOAP/services/RightsManagementService? wsdl & lc_version = 9.0.1, using .NET 4.0 (c#).

  Here's the function I wrote. When I run the code it always returns false. I have searched the documentation and the forumns but found nothing. Can anyone provide any ideas on how I can update a user password in LiveCycle via exposed web services?

  The answer to this question was to use another function exposed by Web services of management directory, {domain} / SOAP/services/DirectoryManagerService? WSDL & lc_version = 9.0.1.

  We have a system with weblogic 10.3 and UCM 11 g. Our client would know if there was an automatic means to automate the update of password. We have customizations to achieve in gR3 AAU 10 but actually we don t know how to do this with Weblogic. Any clue?

  I have no idea on an API for the embedded ldap server.

  However, you can certainly make batch creation and modification of the directory using LDIF files standard. You can import them using a free LDAP browser.

  It is technically possible to reset the password in this way, but I've never seen someone do and think that it would not be a good idea.

  I think you should explain that the embedded LDAP has limited functionality and scalability. Is they want more features, then they need to look at an alternative.

  OpenLDAP is free, so I don't think that money should be a problem.

  I'm working on Hyperion 9.2.0. I have an obligation to use native Hyperion users to access the Hyperion. Y at - it an option to give users to select their own password in the SSP, or is there any other method to automate this process?

  You could do this in the excel add-in or within the workspace, and I think in Smart mode, if is not clustered.

• Apple ID does not not on MacBook after updating password

  I know this has been posted before - several times - and I looked for or answer and tried a lot of things, but what is certainly a very simple task is does not work for me (and driving me crazy).

  • I had problems with my Apple ID recently where I was prompted to change my password. I had to change several times before that Apple got the process works (long story)
  • The use of my Apple ID to receive text Messages on my MacBook Air, I've not been able to restore.
  • I'll get the text message sent to my email - but not my phone

  In system preferences:

  • I went users & groups and deleted my Apple account and tweaked.
  • Internet accounts lists my details, but does not give me the option to change my password
  • My phone (as a single unit) is part of my account - but I think that somewhere I need to list the phone number - do not find it.

  In the Messages application:

  • I deleted my ID Apple and added-however this is not asking for my phone number anywhere

  Any thoughts are appreciated.

  If I understand correctly, you are unable to receive messages on your MacBook Air.  I use my Air throughout the day and the ability to receive and send text messages to this topic saves me having to pull out my phone throughout the day.
