Hello

The double-click feature applies from the lock screen, not the home screen.

To check that it is always enabled, go to: settings > portfolio & Apple pay > check that double click on the home page button is enabled.

I've read other posts on the drain of the battery on the iphone but that you did not find an answer that reflects my situation.

Relates to the iphone 6, ios 9.3.1 64 GB,.

I took my phone this morning and pressed the home button to check the remaining capacity before getting ready for the day.  It is 79%.

I ask without opening any application or even unlock.  As usual, the screen goes black after a few seconds.  I go back an hour and a half later, and now it's 23%.  So I check the battery use it it shows as home and lock screen used 97% of the power of the battery since my last load.

Why the drain?  It doesn't drain as quickly when I watch a video and it was just the home button to check the remaining power.

The percentage shown is not since the last charge. It's usage in the last 24 hours. It could have been 5 counts at the moment.

I just ran the last update for my iPad and now it just continuously reboots to the black screen with the Apple Logo. I left plugged in all night and still no change. Hard restarting does not help, neither do not connect the unit to aMacBookPro. When I do this, iTunes complains that it can not connect because the iPad 'expires '. Now it is disconnected, but I can't turn it off. Even close the lid will not extinguish it. Any ideas?

Try the following. It seems yo may have to let the battery drain is completely:

    - iOS: do not respond or does not light

-Also try DFU mode recovery mode post-test

-If failed and that you cannot completely turn completely the iOS device, leave the battery to drain completely. After loading a hour repeat the foregoing.

    -Try a different cable

    -Try on another computer

  • Installed a new button from the home screen, I shouldn't have to update software?

    Hello

My home screen button and screen had cracked and I've just fixed. I was told by the repair iphone specialist do not update my phone more because the phone could brick because of the new button on the home screen that has installed.

My impression fingerprint sensor works now more for the phone this new button.

With an update, a software update will brick my phone? I'm on version 9.2.

    Thank you

Unless your screen was repaired by Apple or an Apple authorized repair center, it will not work properly again. The ID of touch will not work. At this point, so you should not try to update of iOS, as this will brick your phone.

  • By pressing the home button does not take me to the home screen of iOS 9.3.3

I have recenly updated upgraded to iOS 9.3.3 and I noticed that pressing the home button does not take me to the home screen. The only way to get there is by using the creature of multitasking. (double pressing the home button) Also, some applications seem to freeze if turn my phone off and then turn it back on, or when I access it via the multitasking function. Can someone please help?

Try a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

If a force restart does not help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the important data. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a restoration:

  • iPhone SE: rotation of the home screen does not work

    Hi guys,.

I already looked for answers to this problem in discussions, but I couldn't find anything that solves the problem. Here's the situation:

-brand new SE iPhone: he got yesterday and just imported my contacts, changed some settings and installed a few applications... that's all.

-Home screen does not turn in landscape mode (my previous blackberry contact made it by default, so I'm used to doing all that on the phone horizontally keep and wasn't expecting such a problem with iPhone); rotation does not also happen in the app store. However, it runs perfectly landscape when you use applications (Calculator, messages, etc.).

-J' tried the solutions suggested by other users in different threads:

    (1) checked the lock on the gray screen (it was off). tried to turn it on and then again on the way to see if the rotation is enabled without success.

    (2) looked in ' settings/display and brightness' to see if "zoom mode" has been activated to move it off but discovered that the iPhone SE (or his version of the iOS) has no "zoom mode" option in this Panel... no problem, but no solution: /.

    (3) I think that try a reset should not be necessary, that the phone is brand new and it behaved like that the first time I have it turned on (I reason?).

    (4) I read that some versions of the iPhone (for example 6) do not have the "home screen rotation" function (which, to me, seems completely absurd) and, supposedly, you can use the phone in portrait mode, while the 6s for a reason any the available option: the specs should be similar to the 6s, anyone know (for sure) if the home screen rotation is supported on the self?

Thank you all in advance... I hope that someone will come up with a solution because I know, it seems a stupid thing, but for me, it's terribly boring.

the plug should be similar to the 6s, anyone know (for sure) if the home screen rotation is supported on the self?

    To my knowledge, no.

  • IPhone 4S is not to return to the home screen is

Apple iphone 4S "iOS 6.0.3" is not coming back to the screen normal is. I wanted to cut but not down switch. What should I do? I tried to go home screen with the help of the help key, but I couldn't go back to the home screen. Please solve my problem.

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

I don't find a way to simply reduce the specific window, only to hide all Firefox. I don't want to hide it, I want to only show the dock window is available not not open on the desktop at this time.

Suggestions did not exactly help (thanks for trying so fast however) except that to try, I looked in the Menu Bar "Window" drop-down menu and he was there: minimize-> order Mr. he does exactly what I want, reducing the window I'm toward the dock, where he sits with the icon reminding me that this is. • No "sign in" option shown on the home screen updated, what now?

Latest updates of microsoft stopped Firefox on my computer, (error 404) but I managed to find a way to update, but I now have a screen of firefox with google as my search engine, but there is no place on the home screen that allows me to connect to my google account.
How I solve this problem, please.
Basic instructions would be appreciated, because I'm not very computer savvy.

Maybe it's the built-in Firefox homepage? On this page, the address bar does not show an address, just the phrase search for or type the address. Although the page displays a related Google search box, it is not a page of Google.

If you go to the Google home page and it has the controls you want, you can make as your homepage. These articles have more information on the way in which:

If this does not work or does not stick, you may have an add-on or an external program which is the substitution of your preference. Please post back for more on this.

  • iOS 10 - now I touch Touch ID, * and * press the Home button to open iPhone?

I have an iPhone 6, and today I have updated to iOS 9.3.5, to 10.0.1.  One thing I noticed that really bothers me, it's unlocking the device.  With iOS 9, I had to touch the Touch ID to unlock.  Now I touch the ID to touch and sometimes it unlocks, and sometimes, I see 'Unlocked' at the top of the screen and "Press home to open" at the bottom.  I have to press the Home button to open the phone.

It seems to me that having to push the home button more often will put more wear and tear, causing to fail more sooner than it otherwise.  Who thought it was a good idea?  It is perhaps a subtle boost to force me to update the iPhone 7, with his home in the solid state button?

I think it's something that needs to be modified in iOS 10.0.2.  Make sure that touching just the Touch ID opens the phone each time, as iOS 9 has done.

Happened to me too.  To repair. go to General settings accessibility HomeButton scroll Restfinger unlock... .and turn on.
