  I was recently informed of the update above on my phone. I did the update and to the actual update process request to 02:00 in the morning to make sure that the phone was a) on load and b) not likely to receive a call!

  I woke up to a phone alternating between the red LED coming on, a flash of the start-up of the Blackberry logo appearing on the screen.

  Later, I plugged into the PC and tried in various combinations:

  (1) using the DM to load the bundle 7.1 directly

  (2) using the the /nojvm loader.exe (connects, goes through the process of loading but fails to 'connect to the JAVA virtual machine')

  (3) wiping with BBSAK (cannot connect)

  (4) wiping/evaluate with JL_cmder (no actual feedback app - no newspaper)

  I tried different combinations of removing the battery and disconnecting from the PC before the JVM connections and attempts without success.

  I have a full backup, so did reall worried some people lose all the data, but it is VERY frustrating.

  Advice please?

  Think I may have a solution for those of you out there with the same problem as me.

  I bought an extended capacity battery and it seems that the new operating system is turned on, the unit no longer sees the largest capacity of the battery.

• Software storm update deleted purchased apps and blackBerry Smartphones?

  Hi all - bit of a newbie here so is hope someone may be able to help

  Last night I updated my BB via usb cable and software office software.  When I did this he removed everything on my camera - comes into contact with the lot.  Then I used the function to 'restore' and most back and didn't try to do anything else with it.

  I don't think that there is another way to get back them unless they have been backed up previously, if you connect the handset and will make a backup it will show the file, it saves files, while ensuring that you have double checked that folder?
