  I can't understand how to access the Camera Raw plugin for Photoshop elements 11 (on a Macbook Pro OSX.)  I recently installed 11 PES, and when I select "about plug-ins" within the app, it brings up a box shows version 7.1.0.354.  Does this mean that it is already installed?  If so, how can I access to edit a photo? In previous versions of PSE, I simply chose "open file / Camera Raw" but this option doesn't show up.

  Jh5784325 are you apply updates directly or you trigger updates to the help > updates within Photoshop?  The error of U43M1D207 should occur only when the update is to become corrupted during the download process.  If you apply the patch directly while the error should no longer.

  Additional details about the error U43M1D207 error download or update Adobe Creative Cloud applicationsare.  The details of the error are still topical for Creative Suite 5.

  If you continue to have problems then I recommend reviewing the Setup for the update logs.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret logs to installation troubleshooting install problems with log files. CS5, CS5.5, CS6.  You are welcome to post any you find specific errors.

• Camera RAW plugin for Photoshop 8 does not work

  I downloaded Camera RAW 5.6 plugin following the instructions for use with a Canon EOS Rebel xTi.  The file downloaded and was glued in the appropriate folder (C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Plug - Ins\Elements 8\File Formats\). And when the RAW file does not open yet I downloaded Camera RAW 6.2 plug-in and stuck in the same folder as above. When I could not access the plug-in Photoshop elements 8.0, I tried help-updates to date. I can not even access or open RAW files. How can I solve this problem?

  PSE8 is a 32-bit program.

  You must have downloaded the plug-in for CS5.

  Remove the 64-bit file and start using the link I gave.

  You can not. ACR was arrested in 9.1.1 for CS6.

  In addition to the upgrade to photoshop cs6 or by subscribing to the creative cloud, you can probably use Adobe's DNG Converter to convert your nikon D600 naves in best dng, which should then open in photoshop cs.

  You must have the 2.4 for DNG camera to work in photoshop cs raw plugin.

  having some major problems, just buy a D800, upgraded my pc with a 64-bit os and more ram, re-installed all my programs and cannot open my files in PSE, its saying that it is the fault of the type files, go to update pse10 and im getting an error cose u41m1c212, have downloaded a dng converter and trying to download acr 6.7.1.   Thank you, what I found there is a specific cab 6.7 for the uses of elements, the standard does not work.  I think that I sorted it.

  the mark ii has cr 8.7 or better and ps cs5 can not be updated beyond cr 6.7.

• Where install Camera Raw plugin

  The strangest thing happened to me.  I solved it, but I hope someone can provide me with an explanation:

  1) I downloaded the latest camera Raw Plugin for CS3 and followed the installation instructions at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=3893. 

  (2) I still couldn't open my bridge .dng files because I was still getting the message that I have the good for CS3 camera Raw Plugin.

  (3) then, I did a search for all the Plugins of camera Raw on my computer and found one located in the Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS3/Plug-Ins.

  (4) so, I replaced the Camera Raw Plugin I found in/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS3 / Plug - Ins with the news that I had downloaded from Adobe and previously placed in/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Plug - Ins / CS3 / File Formats as I had been instructed.

  (5) it worked, and now I can open my bridge .dng files in Photoshop.  Why the gap between what I was instructed to do and what actually seems to work?

  Note that it is your LEVEL ROOT library, NOT your user library.

  This is the correct location ONLY for plug in Camera Raw.  If you should have any part of any such other ankle-in camera in your configuration [CS3].

  This link shows that 8.3 ACR supports the Nikon D610 and 6.7.1 was the final version for CS5.

  CR 6.7 is the last version compatible with ps cs5.

  You can use the free dng converter stand-alone or upgrade your ps.

  There is no download for Camera Raw 7.1 for CS5 because CS5 is not compatible with Camera Raw 7.1 and never will be.

  Thus, impossible to open the Raw files of the D3200 in CS5.

  1. CS6 update
  2. Join the cloud and get CC 2014
  3. Free option: download the Adobe DNG converter, convert all the D3200 Raw files to DNG format, and then open the DNG in CS5
