Updated KB3076895 and KB3108381 do not install
Two weeks ago I started to receive updates for KB3076895 and KB3108381 for Windows 7, which I can not install. First of all, these updates are from 2015, it is now August 2016, and secondly when I went directly to Microsoft to download I received a message "... not applicable to my computer."
Needless to say, I'm not really in this gene daily and made a really good Apple look. To the when they tell you that they have an update a) is actually ('new' recent update that comes actually from December 2015?) b) I can actually install it.
Response by number:
1 KB2939576 or KB3108371 listed in installed updates (not update history)? [1]
2. How about KB3175443, KB3178034, KB3177725, KB3167679, KB3179573, KB3172605, or KB3161608?
3. is Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), IE9, IE10, or IE11 installed?
[I'm sure to have many more questions for you!]

Updated KB2656368 and KB2686827 do not install, get an error code 641
I have two important updates for NET Framework 4 who don't keep not install. The updates are (KB2656368) and (KB2686827). I get an error code 641 when I try to install them. What should I do?
You can try the applicable repair just only the .NET Framework versions affected - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976982
In many cases repair .NET Framework 4 is sufficient to fix the corruption, but in some cases, need to uninstall and reinstall .NET Framework 4.

BSOD after updating Windows and it is not installed.
A blue screen of death appears whenever I put it in sleep mode, standby time, turn it off or restart. It happened from a windows update when I started it up after it stops after the update, and she appeared with another update. He still wants to install the update, but it still gets a BSOD at the end. The BSOD seems to point to usbhub.sys. Thank you.Signature of the problem:Problem event name: BlueScreenThe system version: 6.0.6002.2.2.0.768.3Locale ID: 1033More information about the problem:BCCode: 1000007eBCP1: C0000005BCP2: D 907 5013BCP3: ACF80B68BCP4: ACF80864OS version: 6_0_6002Service Pack: 2_0Product: 768_1Files helping to describe the problem:C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini042210-01.dmpC:\Users\office depot\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-113724-0.sysdata.xmlC:\Users\office depot\AppData\Local\Temp\WER5DC8.tmp.version.txtYou indicate that you get blue screen after the update is finished installing. Or do you find only the blue screen when you perform certain functions with the system which requires a State of transition of power (sleep, restart, etc.)?
You've got bugcheck SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED caused an access violation.
You can download the contents of c:\windows\minidump on your SkyDrive? The discharge can take probably a few additional details.
To treat blue screens, following general tips:
Consider running chkdsk on all partitions. Leave complete chkdsk on each partition and see if that helps.
Also consider running SFC/scannow.
If you start in safe mode, do you still feel bugs? What if you do a clean boot, or boot device?
Other common suggestions include ensuring drivers are up to date (including video drivers), but also to ensure that you use the latest version of the BIOS.
Consider the memory with memtest86 or Windows Memory Diagnostic test. Note that memory that pass the tests isn't necessarily good memory - he not only failed a review. Examine systematically to eliminate the system RAM - run with a few modules for awhile and see how things are going. Then try the other modules.
For the case of memory corruption such as you seem to be experiencing, it may be useful to use Driver Verifier. To activate the... Driver Verifier start-> verifier.exe-> OK-> create standard settings - > then-> the names of the drivers select in a list-> next-> sort by provider-> select all non-Microsoft drivers-> finish and OK your way out of the dialog box.
Then restart and use the system as you normally and wait for a problem. In case the system does not completely start after activation of the Verifier, boot mode safe and run driver verifier and tell him to remove the changes.
Wait for an error checking to happen after you have enabled the auditor as described and then transfer it to your SkyDriveand provide a link.

Updates 2478658 KB and KB2518864 could not install and cause a loss of internet connectivity
Hello
Updates KB2478658 and KB2518864 cannot be installed in my SBS 2003 and caused a loss of internet connectivity.
A while ago, I had a similar problem, i.e. do not install and loss of internet connectivity after you apply Windows Server 2003 SP2 on SBS. In this case, we have solved the problem with the support of a Customer Support person Microsoft, a service through which we paid.
According to the suggestions that I found in the Microsoft Web sites, I managed to remove everything that was installed by the KB2478658 and KB2518864 updates and the reinstalled successfully. I did these manually because I don't have an internet connection.
After you have reinstalled the above mentioned security updates, I repeated all the steps that led to the problem of the previous time. Among the steps taken, have been indicated in:
Common problems of networking after you apply Windows Server 2003 SP2 on SBS
2. 948496 an update to turn off default SNP features is available for Windows Server 2003 and Small Business Server 2003-based computers
http://support.Microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB; EN-US; 948496
Unfortunately, I was unable to restore connectivity to the internet this time.
There is connection between the NETWORK card and router. I could ping the NIC IP address, but not that of the router (I get an "unreachable" message).
I look forward to suggestions and recommendations to solve this problem. I have already paid once resolved a problem that was not directly caused by me and do not wish to do it again.
Thanks in advance.

Hi JL,.Your question of Windows is more complex than what is generally answered in the Microsoft Answers forums as it is related to a problem with small business server. It should be better in the Windows Server Forums of business.
Please post your question in the Windows Small Business Server Forums.

First issue. Microsoft Silverlight guard display itself. I hid at least twice since I reinstalled Windows 7 a few months ago and it's annoying.
Second issue. How can I stop Windows Update to provide updates for software that is not installed? I installed Microsoft office with only Word, Excel, Access and Outlook and yet it is the display updates for PowerPoint and PowerPoint Viewer that I specifically not have installed. Once again, it is annoying to have to check updates to software that is not yet installed on my machine.

Try to upgrade OS 10.6.8 to El Capitan on iMac. But the FREE update tells me it can not install but will not say why even when I click on learn more. Suggestions? Help? Appreciate the assistance.
More details on the iMac you have and how much RAM is installed would certainly contribute to answering your question.

Control SMART and short CIOS not installed? New notebook
Hello
My parents sent me the 4440 s of HP Probook. I turned it on and it was working fine. No problem at all, but the hard drive was very small. Only 59 concerts. So, I took the hard drive from my old laptop (which still works. 300 concerts) and put it in the new laptop. When I turned it on this pop up.
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI
-----------------------------------
Version 1.6.0.0 - BIOS
then it gives me the opportunity to perform a verification of memory, hard disk check, language and output. Memory passes test, but when I do the hard disk (quick audit and comprehensive check) check it says controls SMART and short CIOS not installed.
When I click on leave peripheral saus to boot not found, please install system of operating on hard drive.
Here is some of the best. I took the hard drive out and put the new hard drive and little return in the new probook, and the same message appears. I don't know why. I can't figure out what it could be. My father-in-law has a good knowledge of computers, but unfortunately, on the phone it cannot be a great help.
Someone save my new laptop beautiful!
The diagnostic program has done a small partition on the hard drive to it. When you have removed it, so that has UEFI. You need to reinstall as the only one available is the one stored in the BIOS.
Here's that and your BIOS update.
This is for Windows 8.1 as you say this is a brand new, that is my logical guess.
I hope this helps. I used the basic model for it, and it should work. If you have any problems, send the product so that we can check the cross. However, there should not be a problem.

code KB9811433 646 and KB981715 does not install
code KB9811433 646 and KB981715 does not install
Sorry, you have problems getting your patches installed. I have a number of things for you to look at. First of all, your Background Intelligent Transfer Services set to Automaticand started and Windows Update ? You can check these settings by typing services.msc in the search box of the start menu.
Sometimes in order to get patches to install correctly, you must perform these tasks manually.
(1) Download Center to visit Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/default.aspx.
(2) search for each update code that begins with the letters "KB" and followed by a set of numbers (i.e. KB979309).
3) click on the link for the download and then click on download and run. You must accept the agreement and then click on continue.
(4) repeat this process for each download of updates Windows could not install.
(5) to rerun the update from Microsoft, click find updates. If all goes well, it will show that you are completely patched. If this does not work, try to run the Microsoft OneCare safety scanner. Sometimes it will solve problems of hidden registry, or erase viruses can prevent the installation of patches: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/whatsnew.htm. Click full service scan, and then Quick scan (full scan takes a long time to complete). Try the patches.
