  Updates to the computer have been OK until MS net framework has been improved from 3.5.1 to Ms. Net framework 4 who do not go in. several attempts have been made to install but still got error codes. . Since then, updates only install are removals of malware. Silverlight will not install either.    Windows 10 has been approved and has been downloaded but 2 does not install error codes, 80070002 & 80246007.

  1. navigate until "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download" and delete the contents of the folder.
  2. press on the Windows key + X > click (Admin) command prompt and then type "wuauclt.exe /updatenow.

  3. open Control Panel > Windows Update and Windows 10 should begin to download...

  Automatic update does not work.  When I try to manually update I get error code 80072EE2.  I tried Microsoft Automated Troubleshooting Services.  Whenever it reports it has repaired errors, however there is no improvement.

  If I understand correctly, you cannot install Windows Update and receive the error code 80070424. Please let us know since when you're experincing this problem? Also let us know if the Windows Update has already worked on this computer.

  You can try to do the following to reset the Windows Update components.

  1 stop in the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and the Automatic Updates service. To do this, follow these steps:

  a. click on start / all programs/accessories. Right-click "Command Prompt" and select "run as Administrator". Click on 'Continue' in the UAC prompt.

  b. at the command prompt, type the following commands and press ENTER after each command:

  net stop wuauserv
  net stop bits

  2. rename the folder "Catroot2" and the folder "C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution". To do this, follow these steps:

  Type the following commands and press ENTER after each command.

  net stop cryptsvc
  Ren %systemroot%\System32\Catroot2 oldcatroot2
  Ren %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
  net start cryptsvc
   
  3. save the files used by Windows Update and Microsoft Update. To do this, follow these steps:

  At the command prompt, type the following commands, press ENTER after each command, and then click OK every time that you receive a verification message:

  regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\wuaueng.dll

  I FACED THIS PROBLEM EARLIAR ALSO AND I TRIED TO DIAGONISTIC MS SUPPORTS THE TOOL ON 03/01/10 AND ALSO MS FIX IT FOR ME TOOL ON 03/03 / 10 AND ALSO THANKS TO INSTRUCTIONS VERBAL MS ENGINEER ON 03/04 / 10, BUT NOT. FINALLY ON 11/03/10 ALL PENDING UPDATES GOT INSTALLED SUCCESSFULLY. BUT SINCE 16/04/10 FROM THIS RENOVATED SURFACE PROBLEM. SOMETIMES 1 OR 2 UPDATES IS INSTALLED & THE REST FAILED. AT PRESENT 9 IMPORTANT UPDATES COULD NOT BE INSTALLED WITH THE ERROR 646 CODE.
