  I tried to completely update of windows, but the 8007000D error code keeps causing the update fails. The update is for - Cumulative Update for Media Center for Windows Vista (KB982480).   Method 1: Run the fixit.

  Note If the problem is resolved and you can successfully download and install the updates, you can safely remove the SoftwareDistribution.old folder to recover disk space.

  I'm running a Toshiba with Windows Vista. The 24th of this month, I have installed the updates for my computer, but when I rebooted I had absolutely no noise. I double checked to make sure it was not cut, I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, and then I tried to do a system restore. None of them worked.
