Updating iPhoto in Argentina

I have IOS YOSEMITE 10.10.5 installed in my MacBookPro but Iphoto is 9.2 so I can't open the Iphoto application because I have to do the upgrade.  When I go to the App store, the new version of Iphoto is not available in Argentina! I tried to download it from another country, but it does not work because it is not in the App store of the Argentina!

How can I access Iphoto by upgrading either by being able to open the application in the previous verssion?

Thank you!!

  • removal of the updated iPhoto once updated at El Capitan

I've updated to El Capitan and the Photos. I have no problem with that. All my pictures are here since I've updated entitlement that I bought the computer last fall. However, the updated iPhoto from March 2015 is in my App Store, but it will not through. I'm happy with Photos and not return to iPhoto. But how can you remove the upgrade for any application that came with the computer, and then came not supported of Apple? I don't want to have to remove Photos and lose my photos.

You can delete the iPhoto library - it is totally separate and remove it has no effect on the Photos - you can archive everything first as a backup in case jjust

You can delete the iPhoto application if you'd be best to keep because it's back can be difficult or versatile

  • updated iPhoto to 10.11.4 - Why isn't in the App Store?

I bought a new iMac that came with 10.11.4. When iPhoto does not open it prompted me to update in the App Store. But the App Store says it's not find an update for iPhoto.

Apple iPhoto are no longer developed since a year and stopped selling it from the AppStore.

Only iPhoto 9.6.1 runs on El Capitan, and this version is available on the Appstore.   So, you can refresh only iPhoto if it is displayed in your purchase history in the App Store-look on the fourth tab of the AppStore, if iPhoto appears here.  Can be updated by deleting the iPhoto and put it back.  Tip to see Barney:

  • How can I update iPhoto if it is not accessible from the UK store

When I run the iPhoto application it tells me that it won't start unless I update to the latest version of the App Store. When I click on 'Upgrade' it tells me that it is not available on the App Store of UK. Has anyone found a way around this?

    Thank you.

If you have previously bought iPhoto, it should be in your list of purchases made on the App Store. If you do not see, it may be under hidden purchases. You can try to download it from there.

If you have not deleted your hard drive during the upgrade to OS X 10.10.3, iPhoto can be in your Applications folder.

  • I can't update iPhoto,

everytime I open the application App Store it tells me that there is an available update (9.6.1) for iPhoto and then it tells me that I can not update it for reasons that do not apply to me as if it was the bad apple id I have iPhoto 9.4.3.

Is it important that I now have pictures (he seems to suggest I will correct some bugs) and if she can't I get rid of the requested update always when I go in the

Read this, he mentions Yosemite but still works with El Capitan.

  • Updated iPhoto from the past...

An iPhoto update appeared when the 10.11.3 OSx was released. The date of the update is old too, 19 March 2015. IPhoto update keeps trying to update iPhoto and I have installed it on my mac. How to make disappear? I get an error of 3 - 4 times a day he has been unable to update!

Are you sure it isn't a copy of iPhoto on your mac.

Make Spotlight search with the checked Applications.

  • I just upgraded from Lion to El Capitan. Impossible to update iphoto now. How to do?

I just upgraded from Lion to El capitan (face in RAW format with a new camera compatibility). iPhoto does not. A message says: not available for this material either under the name of another user or reimbursed. How is it possible with a MacBook pro reinstalled with iPhoto?

How to get this update? 5I'm very few qualified in the computer and not ready for the pictures). Thank you for the France.

This may be a long ball, because you are upgrading a Lion at El Capitan.

According to the version of iPhoto you had on Lion, you may be able to recover iPhoto.

And possible only if you iPhoto with your ID on your Macbook Apple.

  • does not update iPhoto

I got an error message before the update when I click on iPhoto, so I updated and now the error message said: "the version of iPhoto installed on the Mac is not compatible with OS X Yosemite. Download the latest free version from the Mac App Store. "Then I updated my computer in Yosemite. No change, iPhoto still does not open. I then downloaded the upgrade to iPhoto 9.4.3 and when I went to throw, I get this error message: warning: iPhoto 9.1 or later is required to install this update. When I click on the store button app with the first error to go to the app store to download the latest version it says: "the object you requested is not currently available in the store US." so I have no idea what to do to get iPhoto to work, but I have a ton of pictures and no way to get them on my computer. I don't know even how to access using cloud!

What version of iPhoto you now? v9.6 iPhoto. It takes to Yosemite. To download you need a version of iPhoto v9 which is already associated with a account App Store. If you don't have that then you can use the new Photos.app that comes with Yosemite, and who will work with your iPhoto library.

  • Cannot import photos or update iPhoto

Hey guys, I have the old white macbook and Mac OS X Version 10.6.8 currently has, he won't let me not update my system again (whenever I have check for system updates on claims I'm up to date, which I'm not). My problem is that every time that I try to sync my phone to download my pictures on my laptop computer, iphoto crashes. I read that this happens when iphoto is not updated (I have the version of iphoto 8.1.2) but I can not find iphoto 9.0 anywhere to download. Can someone help me understand how to import my photos? My iphone starts to not work because there is no space left on it. Thank you!!

You have the latest version of 10.6, you are sure that Mac can run a 10.7 or a BONE later?

You also have the latest version of iPhoto v8. You can not download iPhoto v9 as Apple does not make, develop or sell more.

The upgrade will not necessarily set your iPhoto in any case library.

    As a Test:

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. In the menu that appears, select 'Create Library'

Import pictures into this empty library. The problem is repeated here?

    Post back with the result.

Also you can recover photos from your phone with the Image Capture (in the Applications folder)

  • updating iPhoto not available?

I just updated my computer to OS X El Capitan and now I can't access my iphoto application. I tried to update and got the message, "this application is not currently available in the store US." so now I can't access my photos. Any suggestions?

Mac OS X 10.10.3 and newer include Photos, which is designed as a replacement for iPhoto. If you want to go on the use of iPhoto in addition to or instead of switch to Photos, click here and try following the instructions; you will only be able to do if you got before where associated with iPhoto on the Mac App store.

  • updates iPhoto problem

I have updated to OS X El Capitan and iPhoto to photos to Mac about a year ago. But every week or so my computer tells me it has updates installed for iPhoto. I try to run the updates and it tells me that it can not be downloaded from this ID. I can't remove the update of the sweats, and I can not download it, I think because I changed for the new program of Photos. Yet, my computer keeps trying to download and install the update.  Any suggestions?

What version of iPhoto currently installed?

If you have the iPhoto 9.6.1, you are running the latest version.  Update does not at all, not in the AppStore updates pane. You can only be updated by reinstalling.

If your current version is not iPhoto 9.6.1, open the fourth App store purchases.  IPhoto is listed among your purchases in your purchase history? If so, move the iPhoto application to the trash in the Applications folder. Do not empty the trash.

Reopen the AppStore and the purchases of the AppStore tab.  You should now see 'Install' right of iPhoto. Click on "install".  It will install the last update.

  • Do I just update iphoto 8.1.2 so I can use the cloud?

I don't know if it is possible to simply update the photo program so that I can access the cloud or if I need to update the entire operating system.

Photos is not a separate application, but is integrated into the operating system and you can install it only as part of the operating system - Yosemite and most recent - current version is El Captain OS X 10.11.6 and Photos 1.5

  • I have upgrated to El Capitan OS.  Unfortunately, I lost iPhoto in the process.  When I try to update iPhoto on iTunes I get a message saying that the iPhoto update is only available in the United States (!)  How can I get this app from Canada -

How to upgrade to iPhoto on an IMac (El Capitan, OS).  Tried to find it on iTunes but I get a message, it is not available in the Canada.

What version do you have now? You can use iPhoto 11 v9.6.1 on El Capitan. If you have a version earlier than iPhoto 11 then there is no way to upgrade and you must use the new Photos.app instead.

If you have a version of iPhoto 11 then put it in the trash (not empty it) and reinstall it from the shopping list of the Mac App Store - note it is the Mac App Store and nothing to do with iTUnes.
