  I'll put up a Cisco Secure ACS 4.2 server to act as a RADIUS server for switches and routers I use Windows 2003 server for the candidate countries.
  and an Active Directory of Windows 2003 server.  The ad server is very good, it is used for many other things.

  I've implemented ACS as defined nit it installation guide, including all the steps in the "Member Server" section of the installation guide
  When you use AD as an external database (e.g. setting up services to run with a domain administrator account, set up a machine called "CISCO"
  on the field, etc.).

  I've set the unknown user policy to use the database of Windows, if the internal database does not contain the details of the user.

  I scoured google etc and just cannot come up with any reason why this should be the case.

  Internal error is fairly generic, but a common situation, we see this error is when ACS is installed on a

  64-bit computer.  ACS would not work with the active Manager when it is installed on the 64-bit before machines

  ACS 4.2.1.

  In order to perform this update, there are a few tasks that need to be installed before the upgrade to 5.1

  (1) patch ACS 5.0 9. The OCC: 5-0-0-21 - 9.tar.gpg

  (2) ADE-version 1.2 / / / OS version operating system upgrades. The OCC: ACS_5.0.0.21_ADE_OS_1.2_upgrade.tar.gpg

  These two steps, use the following command "acs patch installs the patch name. "tar.gpg repository repository-name "

• ACS command 4.1 authorization failing intermittently

  I have installation switches aaa using Ganymede + on the network, however I seem to get occasional command authorization error. It shows when I try entering the command on multiple ports at the same time (example interface range giga 1/1-48). If I had to do on one lane instead, I does not seem to encounter the error. It would be because of the ACS, unable to carry the load? It is only for a single switch to run the command for port ranges.

  I've attached an example of the error of reference:

  I checked the interface to connect to the ACS, and I see no error. I'm not too sure of what may be the cause of error. Would it be because of the ACS unable to work well with the range of interface?

  There is a bug open for this issue which is found in subsection 12.2 (46), and for the moment there is no plans how to solve the problem because it involves a design work in the code to fix this. The only work around is to remove permission to order or to see what your limit is on the beach inteface command entered begins to drop requests.

  27 "mac OSX in early 2012 10.11.0 and recently upgraded to Fusion 8.02 and tempted to upgrade 8 Win Win 10 and the upgrade fails with a message that says:

  "Compatibility issue:

  This PC cannot run Windows 10 here's why: VMware SVGA 3D

  Production of the display did not your screen compatible with Windows 10.  Check with manufacture for support".

  I have unchecked the selection of 3D graphics accelerated display Fusion settings, stop the machine virtual, rebooted and tried the upgrade to win 10, but always the same failure message.  I thought I read on Fusion 8 was ready to win 10, but I could be wrong.  Has anyone else had this situation? or suggestions for what I should do to correct the Win 10 upgrade failure.

• 6.1.4 NSX upgrade to 6.2.0: DLR fails to upgrade with DHCP relay message

  Hey all, in the middle of an upgrade of non-prod to a greenfield 6.1.4 6.2. Did the Manager NSX, and follow-up of all controllers. Then after the VMware recommended upgrade sequence, I did the GSS. Then began the DLR. When you try to upgrade the DLR, I received an error message

  The "Upgrade Version" operation failed for the entity with the following error message.

  [DHCP] To enable DHCP Relay, DR instance must be created with a single connected LIF.

  

  Also, the router now displays status in the NSX edges pane: "failed to create/update edgeAssist interface for edge edge-3.» 404 not found. »

  

  So I tried erase the configuration of DHCP on the DLR with the button relay remove, no dice. Tried to redeploy, fail with the same message. Tried to force synchronization, changes in status to "impossible to force synchronization. NSX Edge edge-3 is in poor condition. Try the operation again. The DHCP configuration disappears, but the change seems never commit, because when I browse the bracing or routing section and browse to the DHCP relay page, the original configuration is still there. It is a simple DLR with no configured HA. I have attached the newspapers of DLR tech support in case there is any support curious people out there. Note, vCenter 6.0.0 2741530, ESXi 5.5 Patch 5 reissue 2718055.

  He was just going to remove the DLR and re-create it since it's a lab, but if it wasn't a lab I just want to know why it's a failure.

  After reading more carefully, I apparently missed a step in the upgrade (hosts). I suggest that whoever does the upgrade follows the upgrade guide in pubs located here: 6.2 NSX VMware vSphere Documentation Center

  • Manager of NSX upgrade to 6.2
  • Upgrade of the Cluster controller NSX to 6.2, check the status of cluster control
  • Upgrade the cluster hosts for NSX 6.2
  • 6.2 the NSX border upgrade
  • Guest Introspection to NSX 6.2 update
  • Remove the NSX data security and redeploy

  So I tried a lot of things to work myself back from that. I tried to upgrade the hosts but that didn't fly, esx-vxlan has been blocked to version 5.5.0 - 0.0.2691051. To return to a viable State in the end I had to nuke basically the GSS, logical switches, DLR, TZ, manually uninstall the NSX vibs and unsubscribe manager the NSX to vCenter in the cluster take-off of the State of "uninstall." From there, re - install the 5.5.0 - esx-vxlan 0.0.2983935 (6.2) vibs on the cluster worked OK, and I rebuilt the gateway routing and dashboard. So read before making anywhere near prod. : )

• Upgrade process works on Snow Leopard, fails on Lion

  So I bought the upgrade to 7.0.1 (PPC version) on my old Mac Book Pro under Snow Leopard, Acrobat X. It installed correctly and accepted the old license on my older machine, which is loaded with the (7.0.1) OS version that supports always code PPC. However, I can't seem to load and accept the license even on the new machine. Because I can not install the old copy from Adobe on my new machine, as Lion can't stand not all PPC apps, the new upgrade fails. I tried to copy the old product more to my new machine just to see if something in the code would allow new software to find, but it fails.  To be clear, it * works * on my old laptop, so old my mother in law license was valid (I was worried she might be licensed to teaching or something). But it will not accept the old license on my new laptop. Does anyone know a solution to this? A kind of workaround? Adobe can provide me with a valid license that does not require this old code, since in the future, I'm having this same problem on newer machines?

  Well, that is a good question. I liked the idea of being able to open and edit PDF files that people could send me. PDF to Word and Excel.

  But for the life of me, I have not needed more than maybe once in recent years. I sold the computer today and let the application on this subject, with the warning that he cannot be upgraded.   I can't upgrade to windows 8.1, that it gives me this error after sign in again:

  "Could not update for Windows 8.1.

  Sorry, we could not complete the update Windows 8.1. We have restored the previous version of Windows on this computer.

  The funny thing is that a few weeks ago, I've already updated to windows 8.1 but because of a bad driver and not being able to boot into safe mode, I had to renew my windows and upgrade to windows 8.0. But now I can't update to windows 8.1 more. I installed all the updates of windows, even those in option. So I did a factory reset and uninstalled everything which has not appeared necessary for windows, so the update go smoother. I found a page from toshiba with a tutorial for upgrading to 8.1 and it told me to uninstall the following:

  Genesys Logic
  Intel PROSet
  Intel Wireless Display
  Realtek audio driver
  TOSHIBA PC Health Monitor
  Realtek WLAN driver
  Realtek Bluetooth Filter driver

  and on another page he told me to uninstall anything related with toshiba so I did it all and these are programs I currently have:

  I also tried with a clean boot but still no change. My atm graphics driver is version 8.9, while the newer version is 13.12 but toshiba not unlock updated 12.1 for windows 8.1 and I tried to install that, but he just in an endless loop of startup.

• After the upgrade to v8, unloaded ActiveSync application fails for Windows phones...

  We have improved our 4600 to v8 Saturday.  We have an application relieved for Exchange ActiveSync and since the upgrade, Windows phones cannot synchronize and... an error message "error code: 80072F78.  iOS and Android devices seem to work OK.

  Roll back firmware with exact same parameter to 7.5 and Windows phones reconnect properly.
