  Can do without Weblogic without upgrading the EPM systems?

  I upgraded to EMP 11.1.2.1 11.1.1.3 by upgrade documentation (I think I followed all the instructions). I see that all the objects in the workspace of permissions and Explorer window have also been migrated successfully. I also changed the Financial Reporting database connections to point to the new location of the Essbase server.
  
  But when I try to open any financial report, I get a browser script error (seems to be a JavaScript error) almost always missing a ';' at the end of a line. When I try to open a snapshot so, I get a HTTP 500 error.
  
  The same report (s) opens with the Financial Reporting Studio success when I choose "print preview". The error appears again, so if I choose "Web Preview". It happens to all reports in the repository.
  
  Any ideas on how I would go about fixing them?

  You must check the file Financialreporting0.log and FRlogging.log for more information. Which should help you to understand the issue.

  But there is no file hyperionrmiregistry/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/epmsystem1/RMI/HyperionRMIRegistry in my house EMP!

  I read the blog Hyperionized: change default schedule 11333 Hyperion RMI Port but HyperionRMIRegistry has also mentioned it.

  Where can I get this file?

  If the RMI is listening on the port that you have set so I don't see why you need to update the files that do not exist, the RMI runs correctly is not it?

• EMP 11.1.2.4: url error workspace

  Hi all

  We are on EMP 11.1.2.4 on redhat linux.

  We had applied the corrective update on EMP 11.1.2.3 EMP 11.1.2.4 upgrade.

  We have essbase and planning an application.

  After you apply the update, we have a weird problem with the url for the workspace.

  When enter us the workspace url in the web browser, it gets hang poping, loading only screen.

  http://Linux_server:19000 / workspace /.

  
  

  but when we are listening post like 28080 then it will ask for user name and password to connect.

  http://Linux_server:28080 / workspace /.

  
  

  After that we disconnected and again go to workspace url using the port 19000

  Another server as a windows server which have HFM server has been previously configured with this server as server of shared services and now these windows server now having its own services on the same server. so I deleted its mod_wl_ohs.conf file entries

• EMP 11.1.2.4: Cube refresh error: Application %s does not exist

  We had applied the corrective update EMP 11.1.2.4 on EMP 11.1.2.3.

  While doing post task upgrade planning I found that a single planning application has been corrupted as follows,

  While in the epm 123 someone changes the password for the admin, at that time, this application has been corrupted.

  After you apply the update, I found that this plannning application is unable to connect to the essbase server.

  When I opened the console of Regional service, I can't see this planning an application.

  then, when I browse to administrator > > Administration > > manage > > create database, it gives me an error like this.

  The application %s does not exist

  It is a classic planning application.

  

  I tried to add essbase EA application which gives me error like

  Error: 1054001 failed to load application RevBud with error number [1052003] - see the server log file

  any idea?

  Your question is exactly as if that I met recently. I did the same thing, but it was not to let me remove so I deleted the HYP_PLANSYS table manually.

  You can try this method of recovery of LCM and load data later in your cube.

  Make sure you have good backups before you go ahead and delete.

  1 backup copy of your application schema

  Yes you can upgrade 11.1.2.1 11.1.2.3 and then patch.500

  FDM is no longer in 11.1.2.4 so it will not be taken in charge of combination and would not work with HFM anyway due to changes in Java which would stop existing adapters work.

  If you go to the 11.1.2.4 http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-foundation/hyperion-supported-platforms-085957.html support matrix

  Then go to the 11.1.2.4 Compatibility tab version you will see THAT FDM is no longer there.

  I need to install EMP 11.1.2.4 and OBIEE 11.1.1.7.1

  I want to use a big 1 server for all these installation. I would use the same instance of the WebLogic Server.

  Issues related to the:

  1. Is there a command that I should follow? First install EMP and OBIEE or vice-a-verse?
  2. UCR! Yet once related to the first question. I want to use the same instance of Weblogic server, which remote control to run first... ?? or can I run EMP and OBIEE UCR, one after the other and then continue with the rest of the installation?
  3. Is that what someone has tried the integration of the last EMP 11.1.2.4 with OBIEE (Comes with EMP 11.1.2.3 but I wanted to use 11.1.2.4)? Please let us know of your experiences... Should I keep in mind...?

  So we need to migrate this system:

  Source: EPM 11.1.2.1 (planning and Essbase mainly) sitting on the SQL Server and Windows database

  Target: EMP sitting on Linux 6 and using Oracle DB 12 c 11.1.2.3.500

  So far, I see 2 options and want to post with all those who have done this before or similar through the migration of the platform and upgrade:

  #1 Apply the update to move to 11.1.2.3, in place of course -> use LCM to export/import the artifacts to a new installed 11.1.2.3 Linux system (usable LCM? in this case?) I think Yes, since both have the same version)

  #2 Install the EMP 11.1.2.1 system on Linux box -> use LCM to export/import the artifacts in 11.1.2.1 on Linux -> apply update to 11.1.2.3.500

  Please note that EMP 11.1.2.3.500 is already installed on GNU / Linux

  Yes it is game patches 11.1.2.3.500 and 500 + fixes additional off it many major bugs should be resolved.

  Depends on if you really want to wait or is there new features, you must use in the near future, you must make the decision at some point, because 11.1.2.4 could be outside then heard talk of new features that will be in the release after that, it never ends.

  We have our EMP system had put 11.1.2.2 to 11.1.2.3 and it's a broadcast environment (Windows 2008 Server) and in one of the server, we installed FDM and after 11.1.2.2 upgrade to 11.1.2.3.

  When we load balance FDM Configuration, SSP is failed with " Shared Services Connection Failed '

  What I did:

  Deleted all entries in the object load balancing DCOM {E652643D...} and the Application Server Config {26AD6592..} and the COMJNIBridge DCOM objects. Re-directed EMP config for FDM application server

  and reconfigured the FDM with mycmsc\svc_hyperionfdm of the user application server. Config of load balancing is still unable to the connection of Shared Services with the error "Shared Services cannot connect".

  I tried the local administrator user but fails in the same way

  Windows system log entries:

  The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM with CLSID {E652643D-6CC1-48AC-915D-01842B04F292} server application and the APPID

  What I've observed, it's that when I upgraded from 11.1.2.2 to 11.1.2.3, it installs automatically two customers Oracle (32 and 64-bit) on

  the server. But Server customer already has Oracle installed on it.

  I looked in path Variables.

  PATH=C:\app\product\11.2.0\client_2\bin; C:\app\product\11.2.0\Client_1\bin;

  He also added check the TNS_ADMIN environment variable pointing to the Environment Variable

  TNS_ADMIN = C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\config\dbclient

  and I changed it to

  WEB - Foundation, r, A, EN and EAS

  Planning - planning and APS

  HFM - HFM

  PS - server printing and EPMA

  BSE - Essbase and Essbase Studio Server

  All of the above products are on windows 2008 R2 64-bit servers.

  When I run the update on the WEB, almost all products are highlighted. I am unable to uncheck them. For eg., Essbase server is checked?

  As part of the application to update, you can not select few components to the corrective update application.

  While applying an update, it will apply to all components of the EMP which are installed and configured in the previous version (in your case it is EMP 11.1.2.1)
