Hello
do not normally remove you the malware by upgrading
You must do a clean install
Try this instead:
Download update and scan with the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware
http://www.Malwarebytes.org/MBAM.php
You can also download and run rkill to stop the process of problem before you download and scan with malwarebytes
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill
If it does not remove the problem and or work correctly in normal mode do work above in safe mode with networking
Windows Vista
Using the F8 method:
- Restart your computer.
- When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
- Select the Safe Mode with networking with the arrow keys.
- Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
- To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
- Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

upgrade from vista to win7 without backup of files
I'm upgrading from vista to windows 7, and I wonder how it is risky to not back up my files beforehand. something sentimental value is already stored; What remains could be fairly easily replaced, so a lot of time.
Windows Update has nothing to with the upgrade of Windows. Re-create disc set of system recovery after OS upgrade from Vista to Win7
Hello, my HARD drive crashed, and as part of the replacement procedure, I also bought an upgrade of the OS Win7. I used my original restore disks game for the PC to Windows Vista and then upgraded to upgrade to Win7. I want to re - create the defined under Win7 recovery disc, in the case where I never restore the OS again, to avoid restoring Vista and upgrade to Win7 process. Unfortunately, Recovery Manager reports that a recovery set have been achieved and can be done again.
Is it possible to redo the restore with the new OS Win7 disc?
Thank you

Problems upgrading from vista to win7
I have a Toshiba satellite p205 and I have the disc of windows 7, but when I go through the process, it does not work, so I downloaded win7 Upgrade Advisor and he says: I have all kinds of compatibility problems with drivers toshiba n such, he also says that I don't have the vista service pack (in which I don't have) so I kept installing updates from windows but the option to install SP1 never showed up. So I downloaded manually 440 mb SP1 on MS website, but it will fail to install due to an error. Can anyone help?
NightFury,
Try the following and let us know the result.Run the disk error checking
Then run the System File Checker
Will download and run the System Update tool
Make sure to note one of these tools can display error messages. Will they all work fine and correct problems, and then run Windows Update. After installing other updates, then try the manual installation for SP1. It would also be useful to know what error you get when SP1 installs.

Hi for dog,
Windows 7 has been available for download on the Microsoft Store until the latter part of 2012 - however, now, you will need to buy an installation disc from a store.
Windows 7 drivers are available for your laptop - see the link below.

The problem is that this laptop 2nd now ask the product ID windows - which does not recognize my ID to upgrade. He now wants to buy Windows 7. Since I bought this first PC with Vista on it - will be a newly purchased for Windows 7 upgrade work?

I bought a subscription Office 365 this weekend, he returned and discovered that it won't work on my machine which is / was running Vista Home Premium 64-bit. I had a disc OEM Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) I bought a few months ago, when I had to completely rebuild my machine, but has not used, because by some miracle, he started on my Vista drive. I ran the Upgrade Advisor, dealt with the non-compliant issues, updated everything, disabled my antivirus software and did a upgrade install. It stuck at 18% for hours during the 3rd stage of the installation, and then as I was on system crash, he started to answer and he got 96%, where it is been blocked for more than 16 hours. If I try to cancel the installation, it is said that it will / could make my system unusable. I saw there is a problem with these being stuck at 62%, but if I can't stop installation without turning my brick system, how to fix this?
Turn off the computer
Disconnect non-essential connections and start the machine again and see if it finishes the installation program.
If this does not work, try the following:
Boot from the Windows 7 DVD
Click Install now
Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.
You will receive the following warning:
The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.
(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK
The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.
Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.
You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

upgrade from Vista to Win7: no color for speaker Icon or WIFI icon on the system tray
After the upgrade to Win7, both the WIFI icon and the "speaker" icon are white without color. Just annoying for the speaker, but I cannot see the strength of the signal for the wifi icon.
Hello
This does not solve the problem. The advice given doesn't turn, and turn off the system icons. The issue is not that the icons are invisible. The problem is that the icons are there, but they have no color, as I expect.Hello
It is design in Windows 7. There is no way to change this in the user interface.

Windows 7 upgrade from Vista crashes at 72%.

Hello cdrudd, welcome.
We start back up your data first, if you have a Windows Vista recovery or install CD/DVD, try this:
1. connect an external drive or flash drive
2. place the CD of Windows Vista in the status bar, and close
3 boot the disk and choose "repair my computer".
4 choose "Command Prompt"
5. type the following command:CD c:
| Come in
users of CD
| Come in
dir
| Come in
From here, take note of what your user name folder name. Then type...
copy c:\users\yourusername e:\users
| Come in
* ' e' will be the letter of your external device. It could be F, G, H or so now (according to which drive letter was already used)
Once the copy is complete, you can pretty much use the following commands to keep the rest of the data:
copy c:\program files e:\program files -copy everything in the folder program files
You can use the dir command to view the contents of a directory. Then, you can use the cd command to navigate to a directory.
Let us know if you have a copy of your user data backup job. Please let us know if you have any questions.
Thank you!

My readers Optiarc DVD - RW AD-7530 ATA Device DVD/CD-ROM & the Bison Webcam built into my laptop. Does not work after I upgraded from Vista home premium to Windows 7 Home premium.
Although of course, the CD-ROM drive worked during the upgrade.
I noticed that when I turn firstly on the laptop, the last two lines of the front entry from Windows 7 are the following.
PXE - E6i:Media Test Failure, Check Cable
PXE - MOF: Exit PXE Rom
During the audit of each Properties in Device Manager devices", I learned that they both work correctly. In the list in the printers and the @Devices the only Webcam shown is also a "USB 2.0 Camera"
Can someone help me please?
Best regards
JohnBesides what abdelhak says:
The message of PXE boot that you receive when you start your computer has nothing to do with your CD/DVD-Rom drive. Your computer uses a PXE boot method to attempt to load Windows from a location on your network. Since you do not have this configuration, it is safe to ignore it. If it slows down the startup time of your system, contact your manufacturer and ask them for instructions on how to "disable PXE Network Boot of the BIOS.
Hope this helps,
