  Whenever you change the modem or modem/router to which the airport links... or... change your Internet connection process, the airport must be reset to the default settings and then set it up again to work with the new device.

  Your message did not mention if you did that, but if not... to perform a Hard Reset on the router of the airport would be the first thing to do, to follow in setting up the airport once again, just as you would if the airport was new and connection to your modem/router for the first time.

  Have you checked to see if your screen on the 6s is locked?

  If you have hidden the photos figures may differ in 'Photos' and «All the Photos»

  The 'Photos' view does not show the hidden pictures.  Check your album "hidden pictures".

  If the "Photos of Hidden" album is hidden, show it with "View > Show Hidden Album Photos:

  As long as you remove the device to locate my iPhone, you did what is necessary.  If Apple has problems, they will contact you.
