  I am really a novice and resisted the upgrade because of this.  Now, my browser version is not supported and I can't access normal websites for the banking, credit cards, etc. so I'll have to. I need to upgrade to El Capitan, but reading reviews so so on this process to be successful.  I don't want to lose my documents and 3 000 photos.

  I don't have a dvd with the system drive, so I bought a disc external hard years (Seagate Free Agent GoFlex), doesn't not use it and now realize the system requirements are bad.  I have an icloud account apparently because the object of research and I was able to connect earlier, but no pictures are there.  The instructions read to go to Iphoto, preferences, then select to turn on the icloud photo library.  I went to iphoto preferences, but it wasn't an option to turn on.  So I guess I can't save in the cloud or the other.

  It seems to work now. So, until further notice, this problem has been resolved.

  I was running an older OS, so I upgraded to Mac OS 10.10.4 and who has not solved the problem.  So I tried to uninstall and reinstall the first and restarting my computer (MacPro) but which do not resolve the issue either.

  I solved the problem! I just completely finished my machine of wiping and reinstalling everything bone upward. I think it was an old file left by maybe an older version of first or something that was causing the problem. Everything seems to work fine now well. Thanks for all the help!

Now Firefox only crashes all the time. guess my decision to go back to the Explorer was made for me... can not solve the new versions of FIrefox crashes, slowness, errors... now only breaks down and the "places.sqlite. old"file I saved is gone now, so cannot yet go back to it...
