Upgrade to Windows 10 and now Usb 2.0 transfer is does not work with 10 Workstation

I have post professional and vmware 64 bit windows 10 10.

Whenever I try to spend my usb 2.0 storage device attached to a usb 2.0 controller that uses microsoft drivers, I get one? brand icon located next to the device in Device Manager asking the USB storage device name. The storage device works fine on windows, it is not call himself a vmware device when I try to connect it to my virtual machines which then tells me it could not connect to this device.

I did an installation of repair 3 times already and it has not solved the problem. Is there anything else I can do to get this working?

If your Windows 10 is recently upgraded to WIndows 7/8? If Yes, then you must completely Workstation to uninstall and reinstall the workstation. We have seen USB problems after upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10. And a complete uninstall/reinstall should solve the problem. Please let me know if it works for you. Thank you!
