Upgrade to Windows 7 Vista will remove any glitches?

My laptop running Vista Premium 64 - bit, 4 GB RAM, cannot display the RAW files from my new Nikon D7000, using Capture NX2 v2.2.6. The laptop seems to have a little problem because the files display correctly when I turn on the computer of the user. But when I open the program under my name, the pictures do not show. I get the message saying that a problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. If I switch to Windows 7, will be also transferred glitch?

Update: I've upgraded to Windows 7 and now my photo software works very well under my user name (and all other users names too). I always wanted to go to Win 7 and the question gave me an excuse to do so. I couldn't be happier. Thank you for all your help.

    Hello

do not normally remove you the malware by upgrading

You must do a clean install

    Try this instead:

Download update and scan with the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware

You can also download and run rkill to stop the process of problem before you download and scan with malwarebytes

If it does not remove the problem and or work correctly in normal mode do work above in safe mode with networking

  • I'm trying to upgrade to windows 7 Vista but not like the 40 GB c: partition has only 3 GB free.

TRY TO UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 7 BUT C: DRIVE FULL DESPITE THE REMOVAL OF ALL UNNECESSARY PROGRAMS

I'm trying to upgrade to windows 7 Vista but not like the 40 GB c: partition has only 3 GB free. Removed all unnecessary programs, etc. If you only really have Vista on C: drive but still showing 37GB used. Any ideas how I can release another 6 GB of free space.
    Tahnks a lot

I hate to say it, but it would be a great time for a bigger hard drive.  While 40 GB meets at least for installation you really need more for in-place-upgrading a system using 37 GB.  Setup needs space for temporary files, its own temporary relocation, etc.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate Trial Version... I buy the upgrade of Windows 8, it will activate?
    Thank you.

NO! There is no Windows 7 Ultimate trial.

There is a free trial Windows 7 Enterprise, but who would not be eligible to use an upgrade of Windows 8 with her.

To use the upgrade of Windows 8 you must have a previous version installed, licensed and registered in Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7.

  • If the upgrade to windows 7, it will be able to read data discs my xp?

If the upgrade to windows 7, it will be able to read data discs my xp? l have data recorded on cd and on Word, and then transferred to cd/disc, to save. My XP PC can read the disc on reinstalling Microsoft Works, which has the word inside program. Windows 7 will be able to read these discs of data?

    Hi steve,.

Just to make sure I understand, you have the Word documents on them with backup discs and wondering if they will be recognised by Windows 7.
If this is the case, then you should not have to worry. Windows 7 will read the disc properly. However, as with XP, you will need to install the correct program that you would use to open files.
In other words, if they are Word documents, then you will need to have MS Word installed or installed works for viewing.
Hope this helps and let me know if you need more information.

If I update to Windows vista home premium, windows 7 Home premium or professional, I need another key to update or my vista key will cover for her. Also can I use my key of vista on windows 7? Someone please answer

You will need to purchase a Windows 7 Product Key/drive upgrade Vista to Windows 7.

You cannot use your Vista on Windows 7 key.

And Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional is NOT an upgrade path.

  • Upgrade to Windows 7 family basic Windows 7 Ultimate will remove my files?

upgrade windows 7 Home Basic to windows 7 Ultimate edition will delete my files?

If you are using Anytime Upgrade, it should not.

If the license for Windows 7 Ultimate, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade from Windows 7 Home Basic to Windows 7 Ultimate. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Ultimate edition at the request, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate files the stored settings and programs.

  • I run on XP if upgrading to Windows 7 I will lose all my Outlook Express emails?

    You can meet me at

E-mail address is removed from the privacy * and it would be helpful I would really stay upgarde but have too many important emails and I don't want to lose the addresses

Well Yes. Because windows 7 does not use OE. It is not an e-mail program. So, if you wish, you can save them. And if you upgrade to 64-bit, you will need to do a clean install

  • I'll be able to upgrade to Windows 7 Vista boot problems?

original title: Windows Vista failed to start. I'll be able to upgrade to Windows 7, even if the computer does not start?

Vista will not start after a Windows Update I tried to prevent. Tired of Vista. Ordered Windows 7 and want to upgrade. Can I switch by inserting the installation disk or I have to do a custom install and lose all the files?

You cannot use an upgrade disk to do a full install - it will not activate (you would think that this has worked, but it didn't, and then you'll be stuck with having to re - install Vista with a full format and then update).  You need to upgrade a working Vista system started in normal mode.  It cannot be upgraded just by using the disc.

I suggest you post your problem of Vista in the Windows Update Forum Update: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistawu/threads , where updates experts will be happy to help you.  Please post with the information requested here:what to post in the Windows Update forum.  You must fix Vista before you can upgrade to Windows7 (unless you have a complete installation Windows7 disk then you can do an installation clean, but will not upgrade and you will lose everything on the hard drive that you save first).

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade to Windows 7 Professional without updating any time for remote desktop

I have Windows 7 Home Premium and need remote desktop.  Can I install Windows 7 Professional (which I already have the disk) on top of Windows 7 HP and keep my current data?  Note that I don't update it any time as each post seems to use this term.

Windows Anytime Upgrade is your only option if you want to keep your personal files and settings. You can't directly in place upgrades using the disc.

Please note that you can not install Windows 7 Professional if the license is currently in use on another machine.

If the license for Windows 7 Professional, you have access to is a retail version update or complete, you can use the product key and the Express upgrade to Windows 7 Edition Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional. First of all, check that the edition of Windows 7, you are upgrading is already enabled (if it isn't, you will encounter complications and that you might start all by performing a clean installation). Click Start, type Anytime Upgrade, click on the option enter a key, enter the key of Windows 7 Professional on demand, click Next, wait while checking the key, accept the license agreement, click on upgrade, wait while the software upgrades, (it may take 10 minutes or more depending on the if updates are required) your computer restarts automatically, after the reboot, Windows 7 will notify you updating the computer, the computer will restart once more automatically and will be completed the upgrade, a window will appear notifying the upgrade was successful and your computer is ready to use, click Close, you should be upgraded to Windows 7 Professional your files, programs and settings retained.

Please note that the Express upgrade does not support OEM, MSDN-Academic, Volume (the student faculty licenses) license. If you are in possession of all these brackets, you will need to save and do a custom clean install. If you want to do it, please backup your Windows 7 Home Premium or according to edition currently installed. Some licenses for Windows distributed to tertiary level students are not perpetual, which means that you cannot continue to use the software after a course or graduating.

  • Upgrading to Windows XP 8 will allow me to cancel the scores of disc fusion?

    Hello

I've updated before, but I don't remember if the process will allow me to reconfigure the disk partitions. I have a couple of discs that I have merged into a single partition and I think that contributes to performance problems so I would like to cancel it during an XP to upgrade to Windows 8.

    Will it be possible?

    Thank you

    Hello

To install Windows 8.1 of Windows XP, you need to install it from a DVD of Windows 8.1 and perform a new installation. During the new installation, you can format all partitions and configure them at your leisure.
