  I can't C & C3 to install...
  I bought the C & C3 EA store download edition earlier and decided last night that I wanted to play, so I went to install it... the installation program starts, I have chosen to install, accepted the EULA and then click Next.  The installation fails almost immediately, saying "& Command Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars install interrupted".
  so, to rule out other problems, I tried on the 32 bit XP partition I have on my computer and got the same error.
  today I reinstalled windows 7 and windows xp 32-bit on my machine, just in case there was something installed that could interfere (e.g. daemon tools) but no luck.
  I lost a lot of time googling, scouring the forums and the only solutions I found were to copy the installation files on the dvd, which does not apply to me since I downloaded the game from the EA store or install the latest version of windows install manually (but windows 7 do not use the latest version by default?) or rename the windows installation folder and then run the installation of the game to 'force' of windows to get the latest version... of course, none of them have worked for windows 7 and I have not tried to update installshield on XP yet...

  can anyone help at all?

  Hi guys, so I wanted to go back and play Soldier Of Fortune (Platinum Edition) because I was feeling nostalgic and more than 10 years I last played this awesome game, so after I installed the game on my Windows 7 64 - bit PC, I renamed SoF.exe MOHAA.exe after I created a new shortcut for SoF.exe, I tried to run the game for the first time , I have these two errors (see the two photos below.) what is strange, is that this game worked on my laptop no problem, (it has Windows Vista 32-bit.), but on my desktop Windows 7 64 bit I get these two error messages:

  It wasn't a specific problem of the B110! The problem is a corrupted system file which I fixed it with sfc/scannow! :-)

  Indeed, I can reproduce the exact behavior even with Windows 7 64 bit.

  Add another driver that should solve problem withut wasting any use of the feature:

  Click on add printer and select the USB port.

  While the list of printers, click Windows Update and leave a few minutes up to that list once again displayed.

  Under HP, select HP Deskjet 6980 and cmplete configuration.

  Now try printing using the driver 6980.

  I have Vista Home premium SP2, 32-bit operating system. A week ago, I received a .rar file, Avira has said has been infected. I did not open the file, I deleted, ran a complete analysis of the system and assured there was no residue. However, after that, I realized that the defender was not on and then realized that my firewall did not work either.

  (a) it seems that my firewall has disappeared, and specifc messages I get when trying to turn on my firewall is: "could not start the Security Center service. When I run services.msc, I am not at all a security service, all I have is a security accounts manager.

  I tried 5 different Microsoft its difficulty, but none have worked so far. I also tried to reinstall Windows Defender, but Microsoft said that I installed it. All updates are underway. I followed the steps in this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968002 and no. chance either. I used additional resources and tried following these steps also, but all services have already started on my system.

  After reviewing the various things on my computer, I noticed that my windows update service was not working (I don't know how long this has been the case)

  Thank you for your response. Update you: I managed to install the program and update it.  I was able to uninstall completely with a tool first aid provided by Nero.  I also used the program file and batch 'subinacl.exe' and also to change the permissions in the 'C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Nero' path (recommendation above in this thread).  Maybe it was an overdose but I did the same thing for the path "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Nero" as well (can't be too careful with Windows 7, or no matter what version of Windows - I learned).  So, after a lot of hacking, I was able to accomplish what I wanted--despite the flaws in Windows 7.  This product (Windows 7) has certainly been a complete fiasco for Microsoft.  What happened to the QA process?  We need of course.  Microsoft needs it.
