Upgrades to MacBook Pro 2012

Hello everyone, first time poster here (and I hope a first time Mac owner, as well). I have the opportunity to purchase a MacBook Pro for $799.99 new 2012. (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-MacBook-Pro-Computer-Intel-Core-i5-13-3-Display-4G B-memory-MD101LL-A/401157900851? hash = ite...) My question is this: it is better to buy a MacBook Pro of 2012 at a low price to exchange the RAM 16 GB and add an SSD? I like the fact that are not fixed the main components of the system board with the Mac, as well as the CD player is a nice bonus, but not a must.
If someone has done this before, could you share cost & products you used? I'm leaning toward Crucial RAM and an external hard drive Samsung EVO 850. The RAM I could redeem myself, but the player I would have a local shop do ($115 for work).
Mainly, I'm a student on a budget trying to keep costs down while still being able to move in the Apple computers category. Frankly put, I just got it with Windows. I'm not a graphics design student/etc so the retina does not matter that much to me (and I compared side-by-side at the Apple Store). I really need a high quality machine that will last for a while.

With a SSD and extra RAM, it is a very beautiful Mac laptop. Crucial RAM is excellent, and the Samsung should be fine too (although I myself would get that Crucial also).

So a few months ago, I upgraded my MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid-2012, OS X 10.10.5) with a SSD Samsung 850 Evo. Things were much faster and the other Corsair CMSA16GX3M2A1600C11 Apple Mac 16 GB (2x8GB) was also nice.
One day, the Macbook has no more SSD, start repair of OS X and reinstalling did not help. If at start up the Mac, then applications suddenly crash randomly.
Strangely, exchanging for 500 GB disk drive factory solves all problems.
In addition, I can boot OS X from the SSD via USB3, but internally it does not work.
I tried different SSD from Apple, Sandisk and Samsung, which were to be properly formatted or have OS X installed, but the Macbook simply does not accept them and either shows a blank screen or screen issue/question mark. With a support boot utility disk sometimes recognize them and sometimes not. The internal SATA cable has also been replaced by about 5 different cables, but that has not solved the problem. Replace the RAM, unplug the various components such as Superdrive or Trackpad as well.
I can use the Macbook Pro normally but being prevented from using a SSD internal is a serious drawback. My next plan is to try the drive Caddy + SSD boot drive solution but somehow I fear that it could also do not work.
Wouldn't be a kind of failure of the Logicboard? I'm certainly not an expert, but don't really see any other reasons.

any SATA enabled the logic board on a MacBook Pro after that 2007 should accept an SSD (I guess that ANY Board with SATA connectors actually are eligible for one SSD)
You may have damaged something with the Commission or if you are using any 3rd party with the DSS software is might be incompatible.
Readers work on other computers or is there no option to test this?

N ° you shouldn't lose all information on the hard drive.
Make sure that the Mac is saved completely before trying to upgrade the RAM.

Which hard drive MacBook Pro 2012

Hello. I just got the JBL 300 Everest helmet for my birthday a few weeks ago. I've tried everything. There is no update program to get this thing to work with my computer Mid MacBook Pro 2012. Try to forget the JPB on your iPod and turn off the Bluetooth on the iPad. . It is likely that it is trying to trick on your iPod, not your Mac.
Also make sure that no other Bluetooth device is within reach.

Try restarting mode without failure. To restart in safe mode, restart the computer and press on and hold down the SHIFT key until the Apple icon appears. The computer starts more slowly than usual because the disk utility checks the drive. After getting on the desktop launch the App store and try to connect. Successful or not, once you're done, restart normally to exit safe mode.

My SSD is not appear in the menu on the boot disk (macbook pro 2012)
Hello world. So I just got the macbook pro 2012 and starts to do-it-yourself work last night. I took out the optical drive, transferred the existing location HARD disk (w / caddy) and installed an SSD in its place. Then I cloned the SSD HARD drive. No problems so far.
When I went to change the boot drive startup disk preferences is where I ran into a problem. My original HARD drive is the only projection. I had the problem in choosing the boot drive during the reboot (the SSD will appear in this menu) and makes it the default value it. SSD works very well and is now my main boot drive. However, I still would like to show in startup disk preferences. Is it possible to do (preferably without erasing the SSD)?

Relevant info - I'm running El Capitan and I used SuperDuper! to clone the HARD disk.
OK, can I have found the problem. Map of partition of the SSD has been MBR, no GUID. I deleted it, reformatted and I am re-cloning it now. I'll post the result (I hope that as a confirmed for another solution which meets with this).

My iMac with 8 GB or RAM 2011 works very well with the 10.11.2 was last updated. It is up to you to decide. It should work perfectly on almost any new machine of 2015.
