Aware of the processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 1.66 GHz. I am trying to upgrade this laptop for my grandson to play some of the new games of intense action. I looked at different forums, but most of them is at least two years. I also watched the service for laptops manual series dv9700. The top page in their list processor is the Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 2.4 GHz. Since most of these lists are old, I want to know if there are faster processors that are compatible with the laptop and a motherboard safely.

• Cannot install the driver for Pavilion-dv6-Wireless-Network-Adapter-Drivers

  So I just install a new copy of Win7 Ultimate 64-bit version and I'm having the hardest time for an installation driver for the wireless network card.

  I was download the map and try to install at least 5/6 times but it will not yet appear in my device manager, or I am able to turn on the radio/satellite icon in my keyboard to turn on the wireless adapter.

  I have spent the last 2 hours trying to get this to work without success.

  I have hp pavilion dv6-6050se product number LE965EA #ABV who have AMD Redeon HD 6770 M 1 GB graphics I need the latest drivers for it I use windows 7 64-bit Ultimate.

  I tried amd_catalyst_13.11_betav9.2 it did not work it install but the graphics drivers never install I have tried many others, none of them works unless one availe in my laptop computer hp support page, but it is old and I want to update my display drivers, so please help.

  I saw your post about the updated for your AMD Radeon graphics card drivers. Your model contains graphs switchable, reason why the AMD driver did not work. With graphics switchable AMD provides the base driver and HP configures the driver from there. Unfortunately, there are no updated drivers available.

  My Pavilion dv6-3141ea has a Broadcom bgn/Bluetooth combo card 4313.  I would like to take advantage of the 5 GHz 802 technology. 11A for speed and stability.  Forums, I understand that the BIOS (in this case F29) rejects all new maps without approval of HP.  Is there a map that will meet my needs and is usable in this laptop?  Thanks for any help and advice.

  I know that you prefer, but HP does not have a 2 x 2 card which is also Bluetooth. The BT usb dongles bit work well enough (maybe better than internal cards) and are almost invisible, but you lose a single usb port.

  I have a HP Pavilion DV6-3090TX about 2 years. A few months back my laptop froze and wouldn't restart normally. I wiped the hard drive and installed a version on the theme of windows 7 (30 days activation is already passed) so I can continue to use it (in the middle of my Uni term) because I didn't have the original Windows 7 disc that was used to install on my laptop. A few days ago, my battery is dead (no longer charges-warning about replacing the battery keeps popping up) and I think it's because of the incompatibility between the os and the hardware. I want to order recovery disks for my laptop to prevent other problems like this happen and hope you re - install windows 7 Home premium that came with it originally.

  Question 1-will it re - install all the parameters, including standard factory programs and the OS (windows 7)?

  Question 2-if my warranty has expired, can I pay and how much?
