  It wasn't the 1st time I tried to install this program (for Windows7 64 bit).  Today, it worked.  I feel like the little engine that could!

  I just upgraded my PC HP Pavilion Media Center of Windows XP Media Center for Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

  I turned off the antivirus and firewall, then ran the uninstall04.bat file

  So I ran the installer as admin and everything went through, with a few minor hicups, but he set himself in the end.

  This problem would not have occurred if I had installed the printer directly after the installation and update of Windows 7.

  I installed Mcaffee directly after Windows 7, but must have installed the HP software before McAffee.

  To be honest it of really difficult to understand what you are trying to install or what software you need.

  You said something about Toshiba Quad Core HD processor.
  Please note that not all notebooks Qosmio G50 are supported by this feature.
  It would be very interesting to know what you exactly G50 - xxx

  PS; European driver Toshiba page provides the drivers Win 7 for G50 as well.

  Opens a NXT Mindstorms NXT kit (that I bought years ago but never opened) to start from scratch and learn.  Built the first model of robot 3 wheels and went to install the cd so I can plug the robot in my computer for what I assume is a certain type of download that will program the device to move (?) and the cd says it is only for Windows XP and I have Windows 7.  Thus, it will not install and so I'm stuck unless someone knows of a specific download that takes care of this, that is, for NXT v.1.1 but for WIndows 7 software.  Advice/help Plmk because I really want to get into this hobby, but I'm stuck here early!

  I was able to run the NXT 1.1 on Windows 7 Setup when forced to run in XP compatibility mode and run as administrator based on this Windows caring Page.

  I've updated three of my computers from Windows XP Professional for Window 7 Professional using kits of DVD I bought. I have three sets of Window 7 professional DVD in my possession. I bought a new license [facility provided by Microsoft key] for my ThinkPad. I ordered also accompanying the DVD, which I imagine will happen next week. Rather than wait for the DVD, can I use one of my existing 32 Bit Windows DVD for installation to upgrade with the new license key that I got from Microsoft?

  No problem - but you might want to wait, if your existing DVD is the original version, because a new will have SP1 integrated, so it'll even some hassles :)
