• After FlashPlayer 11.04, a site with videos, like YOUTUBE opens a separate process and videos appear in the upper left corner and cannot be moved.

  After update to a version after FlashPlayer 11.02 when you open a window with flash videos on, next to the Firefox process in the taskbar appears a new process with the Flash Player icon and the video window is placed in the upper left corner and cannot be moved.   I recently bought a Satellite P300-1GN, best laptop, I have ever bought!

  I booted up one morning to find a greenish hue in the upper left corner of the screen, at first I thought it was a graphics issue, but after looking closely, saw there was a line of crack/straight lines in the screen itself.

  Then I had a glance at the back of the laptop to see if there was marks, see if something had been abandoned or struck, but no indication of that.

  Now the crack grew, and instead of going down, it goes right through the screen :(

  To be honest, I've never seen such a display problem, but for me it seems to be a malfunction of the internal display. Looks like the internal display is broken somehow

  This just started happening the last two days.  I tried to add the url to my list to activate in Internet Options, also to accept the list for windows firewall. I rebooted and restored.

  It is annoying when I can't access Web sites on my PC.  There is no control parenting, nor is it a reason to be since I'm 57 years old, single, live alone and have no children, and not to mention that this isn't a single adult site. This is an auction site.  The same thing happens on a site of sports too.

  Thanks for the info and help! It turned out to be a malicious program that I have my computer in the start of the part of my computer, once I found and removed, the issue and a few other hick-ups disappeared.

  Method 1.

  Start the computer in safe mode and check if that helps.

  I do not closely with your Mac model but on my laptop (MacBook late 2008), this is where the CPU is, and that's what generates heat, especially if you do intense CPU activity such as games or video processing.  With warmer summer temperatures, it may run more hot.  There are several utilities that allow you to monitor temperature sensors in your computer.  Hardware Monitor their fact is anything but a commercial utility ($).  I constantly run Mac Fan Control that displays the temperature of some of my sensors.  It does not have the CPU temperature, but I made a comparison between the temperature of the led that she appears and it was showed the average of the two displayed in Hardware Monitor CPU temperatures. First of all, I made sure that my fan and ventilation was clean and I opened the computer and used canned air to blow out the dust. I felt with treatment video it still worked more hot that I liked so I used a utility called CPUthrottle to cut back on the use of the processor in my application of coding. Of course encoding takes more time, but I'm happier with a cooler machine.

  I don't know about the RAM so.  I'll make sure that stick you with a reliable brand that is known to work with the Mac as Crucial and OWC (Macsales.com).  Mac can be really sensitive to something other than the RAM of superior quality.

  You have a Menu bar with file-Edit-View etc?
  If this is not the case, press alt or F10 to bring up.
  The Menu bar select View-Toolbars and relight toolbars missing.

  Reinstall DOES NOT restore missing toolbars.

  Hi jwsloway, I do not know why this problem would have been before, unless you have changed to use a plugin of research who have searched http Google to one using the https Google Protocol, or you can stay connected to your Google account (Google redirect), or you are using an add-on that force HTTPS on popular sites when they are available.

  There are a few things that could be the cause. Please can you try the following:

  • Check the Adobe Flash plugin is updated to the latest version
  • Open Firefox in Safe Mode and check if the problem repeats. If this isn't the case, then most likely an Add - it is at the origin of the problem.
  • Try turning off hardware acceleration - Options > advanced > General > uncheck "use hardware acceleration when available.
  • Try to disable "protected mode" in flash player or go back to the Flash 11.2 drive. See this thread for more details support: Flash video only showing a quarter...

  I hope this helps. If this isn't the case, then I would try a Firefox Reset. It will return its default settings Firefox but will keep your browsing history, bookmarks, etc..
