  In short... you can't.  The channels are channels, and SQL and PL languages dictate that the string literals are provided within single quotes.

  I don't see how trying to retrieve more than 200 records of employees in the select statement means that you must get rid of the quotes.

  We have an application in which there is a provision of the redundancy of the system. By redundancy, I want to say that I have a CFP-2120 and a host PC. Both are accquiring real-time AI module using concept shared Variable values. Each of these variables is linked with a particular channel of the Module & will acquire the data automatically. Initially when the system is Ok, the PC acquires data from the PSC 1800 using ethernet. Now, suppose that the ethernet connection has been lost, now that the PC will not be able to acquire. At this point, I want my PC to acquire data from the PSC 1800 using RS 232. In this case the binding of the variable with channel won't be of such use. I think that in this case, what I can do is to accquire data .vi FP READ and update the variable by plugging the variable for each channel.

  What else will be the solution. Can someone tell me if my colleague and I are on the right track or if the best solution is here, please share with us.

  (A). maskPath.value; It's always a Shape(). (maskPath is a property, not of a shape on its own, and maskPath.value.vertices is only a part of the shape data).

  (B) nothing of what you propose... that is why your failed script fails.

  var keyValues = [[10.10], [100 100], [15.50], [100 120]]; are just as good as arrays of points, the only thing is that keyValues are arrays of objects Shape().

  Hi Vijay - I had problems with the forum as well (and my workspace OTN so)!

  You have two questions, I think.

  First of all, that the old wage is not an input element, you can not get to it by referring to an ENTRY tag. you will need to change that to something like:

  This means that there is nothing else in the cell apart from the text - as in < td > < table > 123. If there is something else there that stops you getting the value using the above, you can go through these nested tags referring to objects further firstChild-

  var s1 = d[k-1].firstChild.firstChild.nodeValue;
  

  As I don't see your page, you need to check yourself to see firstChild how much you need. This example assumes that you had something like: < td > < b > 123 < /b > < table >

  Second, the values of s and s1 are strings. You must convert these numbers to be able to perform calculations. You have two javascript functions to do this: ('string') parseFloat and parseInt ('string'). One contains decimals, the other is not - but know that one is not very accurate (it can change "123.456' in ' 123.455999999995' or something similar - not very good! '").

  So, your calculation should be:

  var diff = parseInt(s) - parseInt(s1);
