  Hello and welcome to the community!

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  2) books of forwarding Service

  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  3) restart

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot-~ 5 minutes
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, you may have to wipe your device and then do the above... sometimes, running on another network corrupts so evil that the foregoing cannot fix your Service books. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

  Could someone help me please?

  When I chose "Mobile Hotspot" in the management of connections, it allowed me to set up a password. When I select now if a check mark appears in the box and other devices can 'see' my protected WPA Hotspot, but I get a message on the screen saying:

  "Activation required.

  ' Click on continue to subscribe to a Mobile Hotspot data plan using the browser of your smartphone or on a connected Wi - Fi device.

  The only option is 'OK' (non-continuous). If I select OK, then I go back to the connection management screen, with no check mark the box Mobile Hotspot. I'm on Orange UK (APN orangeinternet) data and voice plan.

  Any advice would be welcome.

  The Mobile Hotspot feature is an extra data plan that is controlled by your network service provider.  Contact your provider network (Orange UK) to add this feature.

I know that some mobile service providers have access to BIS to manage your settings/preferences on BIS. In addition, this phone is part of a business plan, and I would like to purchase ringtones or music, but pay for it myself, is it possible you know to do that?

  I have a BB Bold 9700 and I try to activate the Mobile Hotspot mode.  On the BB site, I realized that in the management of connections, I should get an option to select the Mobile Hotspot.  However, this option is not displayed to the top.  I should be grateful if you would help get the set up Mobile Hotspot.

  # Mobile access Point is on OS 7 models, but the 9700 was introduced with OS 5 and later OS 6 has been made available, but never with mobile hotspot.

• Dose of network Mobile blackBerry Smartphones reconnect after low battery

  I was wondering if it's just my BB or anyone else has experienced the same problem. After battery nears critical bass, BB turns off the Mobile Network(in my case Verzion) connection. However, after the loading of the phone, the Mobile network do not reconnect automatically and you don't miss any calls until you notice that the radio is turned off. Is this normal or do I change this behavior difficult and expensive?

  I'm not aware of a parameter to change this for a reconnection to the network.

  With the Li-ion battery, it is never good to drain your battery as low (and Yes, I know it happens sometimes). An autoloader or another for your office for another 10 minutes of charging during the day are often one or two hours of additional use. Li - ion batteries like the OFF... additional topping charge now and then.

  You should have this problem to your mobile service provider. It can happen that your service provider has agreement with the Natcom and the place, where you belong / visit, homelessness Natcom signal strength is stronger then Digicel. Please report this problem to your service provider immediately.

• BlackBerry Smartphones how can I change my signature & other texts on my outgoing emails sent from my mobile?

  When I bought my Blackberry Torch 9800 (2 years), I managed (somehow) add text by giving my name, my 2 companies Web sites & so that it appears at the bottom of every outgoing e-mail.  At the same time, I've removed the text that says something like "message sent from my Blackberry".

  Now I need to change the message (& also want to restore it's my Blackberry because it is what explains a brief answer when necessary.)

  I don't think that I did all the settings on the mobile.  I think that this has been done "somehow" on my main computer.

  Any ideas?

  Indeed, these IPD files are backups of your BB and are available as a source of food (they are a proprietary format and cannot be used for any other purpose, except by a few 3rd party applications that have been written to analyse). Choose the most recent one (the one with the most recent date and time, as displayed in the File Manager Windows) using this procedure:
