USB device drivers

Hello I have a Pavilion dv6-6145dx and I tried to install the drivers for the USB 2 ports work well the other two are not plug and play does not recognize and sends an error code "the drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28) "for this model, I installed USB 3.0 Host Controller Utillity and only two USB ports, those that I have work have an ID PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7812 equipment & SUBSYS_358B103C & REV_3 don't know why. I tried to uninstall the device to see if the plug-and-play pick upward, but no luck. I tried to manually give the path of the driver file in the 7z file. I even tried to give him the same path as the other USB ports on its drivers to see if he could detect the drivers no chance. I'm at a loss... any help would be greatly appreciated

These are the drivers that you need.

Here's a partial copy and paste information of USB3 driver configuration file that shows the support of the drivers for the hardware ID you have posted.

amdxhc.sys = 1, \x64

DefaultDestDir = 12

[AMD. NTamd64.5.1.1]
% AMDXHC. DeviceDesc % = AMDXHC, PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7812
% AMDXHC. DeviceDesc % = AMDXHC, PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_7814

I have two suggestions for you to try, and if they do not work, I suggest you to reinstall W7 and install these drivers, now that you know which ones you need.  The usb filter driver is installed after installing the usb driver 3.

OK... first suggestion:

Try to manually install the driver as follows...

Go to Device Manager and click on the usb controller requiring driver.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp61462.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

Then restart.

If this does not work...

Second suggestion: install directly from AMD chipset driver package and restart.  1 file on the list.

    I don't think that it is the cause of your problem (since you mentioned that the Windows Device Manager does not see the device), but you should also note that there is a problem in 9.1.5 where devices are not necessarily recognized by MAX; patches are available for 9.1.5 or you can go to DAQmx 9.1.7 or 9.2.2.

  • C870-14 t and Win7 - undetected webcam - USB device unknown satellite

    Since then, the webcam on my wife's cell phone is no longer in effect.

    I checked the Device Manager and I have a unknown USB device. so I downloaded the drivers on the Toshiba site.
    After installation, the web cam HD made its appearance in the Imaging section.
    When I run the software Toshiba "application web camera" she lights the camera then the blackout.

    I check back up Device Manager, USB unknown device is in the list and "HD Caméra" disappear...

    Of course, I would avoid the reinstallation

    It is not easy to say what the problem is here especially if the cam is detected by the system, again and again. It seems that the system can detect the device connected, but it is confusing to me why preinstalled driver works correctly.

    At first try please enter the BIOS settings and check if there is option for webcam. If yes do not forget it is activated correctly.
    Try to please repeat the action with the installation of the driver just to see if the same thing will happen again.
    In the case where this webcam is properly recognized again try to test it with another application like Skype webcam. The same thing happens again?

    What do you mean by "not working"? The operating system recognizes external USB devices?
    Have you installed the drivers of these external USB devices?
