  • External 500 GB USB HDD will not show in my computer

I recently bought the above named product, which worked great until the other day when for some unknown reason, the drive was more on the function of my computer.

I followed the troubleshooting tips/FAQ and this has not solved the problem. The computer recognizes that the hard drive is there, as it appears on the list of devices USB/material and under removable storage in the computer Mgt (when you right-click on my computer and select Manage), but I couldn't go in the Councils of troubleshooting/FAQ that the drive is not accessible.

I fear that all my music (recently transferred to it) is lost forever.

Please, someone tell me I'm wrong. Any ideas people?

    Thank you

If all goes well it of not a hardware problem.
Well. Have you tried to connect this drive external DRIVE on another computer?
If this is not the case, check this box!

In a little more, I recommend to unplug the laptop HARD drive and remove all the USB ports on the Device Manager.
After the new reboot the operating system should recognize the USB controllers again and needs to be reinstalled USB drivers.

After this short statement, try to connect the HARD drive to the laptop.

    I wish you good luck

It seems that the driver does not work and the DVD unit is not showing in my computer - the device however seems to work - I was told a solution may be to download the driver and re-install again. Any idea where I can get that? You have any other suggestions on how to fix this?

  • USB driver is not support for HP Deskjet 1050 j410a.

My HP Deskjet 1050 j410a is installed on a windows 7 and show a code 37 error message which means usb driver is not supported. I had reinstalled so many times and also restarted the pc but the problem does not resolve itself. kindly help me to solve this problem.

    Hello

Make sure you first upgrade the driver by uninstalling the HP software and install the latest version below:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=Al-109412-2&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=4062&product=4027465&sw_lang=

If the same continues to try to plug the USB key into a different port on the PC and check any change.

Then try another device (for example, the disk on the key) and check if you can see a similar behavior, if so the problem may be with your PC Chipset problem.

If the issue appears only on the Deskjet 1050 and no step has not resolve the problem, try an another USB cable from the printer and check any change.

  • I have Win7 64 bit ultimate and from time to time when I start PC my card reader drives do not appear in my computer.

I have Win7 64 bit ultimate and from time to time when I start PC my card reader drives do not appear in my computer. Device Manager indicates that they are working correctly. Sometimes my dvd drives disappear. I have to do a system restore to solve this problem. For some reason any Win7 has problems with storage devices. How to stop these dissappearing from my Computer(or not getting a drive letter assigned) storage devices?  It's very frustrating. And, System Restore is not a way to solve this problem, it's just a quick fix. I have three internal hard disks, three hard drives, card reader external drives, USB keys, disks, etc. I need a way to solve this problem when it happens. So far, happened about 9 times in the last six weeks since I installed Win7 64 bit ATU.

There may be an update of the motherboard BIOS to solve the problem.

Otherwise, as your card readers are no doubt attached via USB the usual way to solve this problem would be to uninstall the drives and the USB controllers and devices in the system restore.

  • Satellite 2410-601 - drive is not recognized in 'my computer '.

    Hello

If I insert a disk while Windows is loading, it not recognize in my computer. Otherwise, the drive is not recognized in my computer, but I can access the content. Problems occur if I start with a drive that recognizes workstation and then change the drive and computer think it's always the other and problems with AutoPlay.
My main concern is that the last time this happened he then deteriorated and then the hard drive doesn't quite work and I needed a replacement.
Is there something I can do? (I could not find a newer driver).
    PS - I own a TOSHIBA Satellite 2410 601.

    Thanks for any help

Did you check device manager if the drive is recognized properly?
Check it out. In addition, you can try to remove the drive from Device Manager.

  • My Macbook Pro gives me a message saying: external drive is not readable by this computer. But he worked Twitter.com. What can I do?

I tried to move my music and my pictures of my Macbook Pro 2012 to other Macbook Pro 2009, but the older one is absolutely remained stuck. So I unplugged. Now, it will not be read by Macs, and give me a message, the external drive is not readable by this computer. Both are running on the same iTunes updated and Maverick. What can I do to recover thousands of photos and CD?

The disc in particular is either corrupted or has failed.   If you don't have a backup, you find yourself working with a data recovery service, which will not come cheap, and they don't guarantee any results - to try to shoot everything that is left behind.   Reformatting the drive - if it has corrupted and not failed - could bring the disk itself to the utility, but that won't help with any data on the disk.

  • Aspire 5740g and the dvd drive does not appear in 'my computer '.

I had to have a new installed hard drive I got an error message saying old default disk.

I also had a clean install of windows 7 that I was uncertain if my discs that I created would be ok.

So I have not all the gifts that have been installed on the laptop like new. Now, I find that the dvd drive is not displayed in my computer and nothing happens when I insert the disc.

This has happened a couple of days and I did a restore of the system to a previous restore point.  Does anyone know how to solve this problem.

I also do not have the secure egis - any ideas how to get this back

Then... your DVD is probably defective.

did you check in the BIOS if it is listed on bootable devices?

Press F2 at startup, if it is not listed, it is defective.

  • Microsoft enhanced Point and print compatibility driver printer driver is not installed on this computer

We are running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit (using VMware View 6.1) virtual work stations and the connection of users to a printer Xerox 4 Type driver/file being hosted on a Windows R2 server in 2012. The driver on the server is listed as "Xerox WorkCentre 7970 V4 PCL6" and when the user of Windows 7 connects the driver appears as "Microsoft enhanced driver compatibility point and print. In the "Print Management" client Win7, it appears as the 6.3.9600.17415 version

The Printer works fine during their Windows session, they disconnect you and when they connect in the print queue is still there but when you right click and go to "Printer properties", he throws the following error

"The printer driver ' improved point and print compatibility Microsoft driver" is not installed on this computer. " Some printer properties will be unavailable, unless you install the printer driver. You want to install the driver now? »

Deleting the queue and then add it again resolves the problem for Windows session, you're.

Note: we use Persona management of VMware to save data from the user profile of the disconnections from the virtual offices are non-persistent. I've been able to reproduce this in Windows 7 using a virtual office, I can't reproduce it on my physical Windows 7 machine.

We get around this by using Group Policy and a vbs script to delete the queue on logoff, then another script to add back on logon, but it's just a band-aid.

In addition, a Type 3 driver works fine in all of disconnections but we need the Type 4 driver in this case.
