  My USB port just stopped recognizing devices more. Whenever I have troubleshoot the problem it says driver Intel (r) 5 series/3400 series does not work. You must reinstall it. I do it but things remain always the same. Everything on my laptop is now up-to-date.

  Update: my USB problem was solved by freezing Asus USBbooster and disabling Asus power management. After unstalling the USB drivers and restarted, the drivers were automatically reinstalled by Windows and everything was working properly.

I decided to give the new operating system a go, but was overall very satisfied with his overall performance and updates of buggy.
