  • Complete used Windows 7 install and get a physical picture of the blue screen

Monday my computer was play music on a hard disk when it entered into sleep and started screaming.

It meets all of the keyboard controls, so I reset by holding down the power button.

Since he refuses to load windows 7 but also put white dots on my screen at regular intervals when the system goes through its parameters.

He enters the window of windows beginning it loads the logo entirely with three batches of 3 blue stripes run from top down in the background, but don't effect the logo or the words at all but then says that there is a windows error and can not load.

Asked to do a system repair that may be defective and so I tried to reinstall the operating system instead. The screen has once again a lot of blue lines wavy background through the normal screen of windows 7, which is at the back of the repair of the system window.

I wipe the partitions drive and begin the installation. It goes through the whole plant, until this happens at "Completing installation" then it blue screens says physical dump but blinks in and out and can not read. The rear crossbar start load windows logo, then opens pop-up box saying "installation could not complete due to an unexpected error, please click ok to reinstall windows" and then he turns around and does the same thing again and I'm going around and around.

The graphics card can't be gone because on some screens (like the logo screen to motherboard to get into the Bios etc) there is no error at all, it seems to be nothing to do with black Bios windows or windows screens it puts these error lines. Also the motherboard doesn't mean that there is an error or a fault with it either.

I checked and reformat the hard drive and it works without error.

Tested my 4 GB of ram, who also spent and no mistake. There's nothing wrong with the power supply.

I'm concerned, it's something with my card graph and map mother, or is - something in the BIOS?

    WD - 500 GB HDD

    Corsair XMS3 - 4 GB of ram (2x2gb 1600 mhz)

    Asus P7P55D-E motherboard

    Sapphire Pure 950w

    Processor i5

I don't know what to do other than replace the motherboard?

I CAN'T get to the office so no start menu stuff please as I can't do it. So I can not download the minidumps or update my system. Unless someone knows how can I update the Bios and drivers without current initialization?

Thank you for your advice. Thanks to everyone for their advice. I got my system running a bit once the new parts increase.

    I did some experiments.

I put my brothers old graphics card in my computer and loaded with the operating system without problem.

Does not perform all the updates no bother. I tried my card on day of reclamation, but once again before you complete the download, it crashes and we're back in the loop.

So I think that the map was officially.

I ordered some new parts and make and upgrade with certainly a new graphics card.

    But it works now.

So, if anyone has the same problem.

Find another computer and write a check for the new bios for your motherboard and do a flash upload if your motherboard has this function as mine did.

Get out of your hard drive and get the data off it by plugging in a new computer.

Reformat and reinstall the operating system.

If you have problems with your screen such as lines and points like I did then your operating system won't load and you will get "nvlddmkm.sys" your graphics card is totalled.

If she does not do and update on your graphics card.

    That's all you can do.

After replacing the battery of the remote control for the Apple TV is now just stuck on the menu screen. It takes no dorection on the remote control. Now what?

No light on an ATV wink when you press a button?

If so, the remote tries to talk to the ATV.

If this is not the case, the remote control does not at all.

  • CPU and CPU max and freeze my game of Combat Arms. Can I use a flash drive to store my game on? If so, how. Windows Vista HP 64-bit.

I'd like put my music on one of these small plug-in things as well.  I have a 4 GB, USB Flash drive but for some reason, I think I bought the wrong thing... what should I use and where it goes and how it works... .so I can free up space on my new pc.  (p.s first time user sorry response)

You can store your music and other files on the USB fllash.  Simply plug into a USB port on the computer and then it will appear in Windows Explorer as another drive.  You can move files back and forth as you would with any other drive.

Put the game on flash drive will just make things worse for the processor and the processor - it will not solve the problem with the game.  The problem seems to be that the game requires a more powerful computer that you own.  The choices are new game or new/updated computer up-to-date (if the computer can be upgraded).

    I hope this helps.

  • How long will take to perform a backup in Vista? And if I use a flash drive?

I'm doing a back up on my laptop for the first time. I want to know how long does take to make it complete? and can I use a flash drive to put it on the back

    * original title - I need help *.

I'm doing a back up on my laptop for the first time. I want to know how long does take to make it complete? and can I use a flash drive to put it on the back

Yes, you can use a flash drive.

It is conventional to use an external hard drive. Mine has a capacity of 1 TB of sub Canandian $100.

As for how long, it varies. Depends on the amount of files to back up.

I think that the first time I did it was an hour.

The next backup would be shorter because he'll be increment backup... just save those who are new.

  • I want to use a flash drive for backup, BUT I want a full backup of the entire drive.

I had once an external drive for backup.  It was supposed to be a backup that would replace everything and put it back where it was.  I cheated because when I got to use it I found that it would reinstall was certain documents and photos.  None of my downloads and all the update programs has been lost. I wanted a mirror image!

Now, I think a full image on a flash drive would be the way to go, but I don't know what software to use.

I need help from someone who has this software and a USB flash drive.  Thank you

    Hello

1/10 1.5 TB = 150 GB - buy a 150 GB flash drive (if you could find it on the market today) could cost you an arm and a leg. Buy a 1 to external portable HARD drive can cost you a little more $ 100.

    I hope this helps.

  • I deleted the Flash plugin and now I can't install it again

Hello, I deleted the Flash plugin, and now I can't install it again. I reinstalled Firefox (deleted all the folder Program files and Application data folder), but it did not help.

Flash is not in the folder files Firefox or Firefox Applications programs. This and many other Plugins (not Extensions) are "installed" / pointed to by the Windows registry and the real files are in other locations on your hard drive.

Have you tried to uninstall all THE Adobe Flash from your system and start over?

    1. This will remove all THE Flash of your system - Firefox, IE, all other browsers

    2. Once the removal has completed, follow the previous instructions (see installation or update Adobe Flash above) to download and SAVE programs install on your drive hard for both IE and other browsers (including Firefox)

My only suggestion would be to try some of the suggestions on the Adobe site: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html

  • You are looking for a SIMPLE, EASY to USE, USB flash drive password protection

    Hello everyone,

I scoured the Internet looking for a SIMPLE, EASY to USE, method of Word to PASS-PROTECT my flash drives TOGETHER.  I don't mean something that protects just individual files & folders (such as MS Word, Excel & can do).  Or I'm looking for a program that involves having to read page after page of instructions on how to ENCRYPT the drive.  ENCRYPTION is a topic that is really beyond my ability to understand.  I'm sorry.

Programs like Truecrypt, Axcrypt, etc. are simply much too complicated for me to understand... a lot less!

My question: are there flash drives available (size 8-16 GB preferably) who have a means of securing the disk with a password?

The USB key remains in my USB port at ALL times!  I have no other computers here and live alone, so that no one else could access the flash player (or computer).  Otherwise, I would be willing to consider a VERY SIMPLE, EASY to UNDERSTAND AND USE application, either free or something that does not cost me dearly.  (I subsist on a limited monthly disability income).

Thank you for your time and any recommendations!

It seems that the solution for you would be to purchase a secure Flash drive.   Security is built-in and it asks for your password when you insert your disc into the computer.   Can't get much simpler than that.  They are a little more expensive, but you pay more for practical reasons.   See the following article:
    'USB Flash Drive Security '.
To find one, just Google for "Secure USB flash drive", there are a lot of them out there.

If you have a non-secure flash drive and do not want to replace, then your easiest option would be a program like Truecrypt which you already have reduced as being too complicated.  Don't let the word"encryption" you scared - it all comes down to "enter a password to access".»  Once established, however, it is almost as simple as only to enter a password so if you can find a computer or a local high school computer nerd literate member of the family who would volunteer to set up for you, then it wouldn't be that hard.

  • Documents transferred from the old to new using a flash drive. Here, the documents but scrambled - help

I was on this site before and learned the file transfer Wizard.  Did not work.  So we went to the flash player.  The documents are there, but when you try to open them, they are truncated.  How can I get these documents readable.

Both are windows XP, old is Service pack 2, Service Pack 3 is new, and I have Microsoft works.

I gather from your rather terse comments that you copied the files to a computer on a flash drive and then copied to another computer.  Did you use backup software to copy the files to the flash drive, or did you just use Windows Explorer (or select--> copy--> paste or drag and drop)?

What application (including version) has been used to create the files and what application (including version) are you using to try to open the files?

What is the file extension of the files (3 or 4 characters after the point)?

  • Accidentally, I've moved my documents to a flash drive and remove the flash drive. Are they still in my computer somewhere?

I have accidenally moved my documents to a flash drive and then deleted from the flash drive. Are they in my computer somewhere?

You may be able to recover from the computer or the flash drive using a program like Recuva file recovery.  For the best chance, do it immediately, before doing anything else on the computer.

  • SanDisk Extreme USB Flash Drive and SMART failure

I just got 3 64 GB SanDisk Extreme USB Flash Drives and all three show SMART failures to reassign bad sectors. I struggle to believe that all three could be bad on first use. I use a program on a Mac (SoftRAID(4)) to certify all drives prior to use, including the SD cards and USB keys. I've never seen a failure so far.

Readers see the successful certification but present a SMART failure.

What is a disk problem or a SMART question or what?

    Thank you

    Lief

I agree that it is unlikely to have failed on the first use. Most likely, it is a problem with the SMART attributes. IIRC sandisk can't CHIP for this product so it formats without error, and data can be copied onto the discs with success, I wouldn't worry too much on this subject.

  • is there anyway that I can simply download a VPS Windows version on a disk or a flash drive and reinstall the OS in this way?

Original title: Windows Vista Edition Family Premium Situation!

So, my desktop came with Windows Vista Home Premium, which I didn't know until about five minutes when I tried to use a password reset and it came with an error message. Being a little smarter I have myself give credit, I found that the password reset I used (I had gotten my laptop) has been installed only for Windows 7 because it is the operating system on my laptop. I have no idea if the office came with a disk recovery or not, since my mother bought the display instead of in the box as most of the people get it. I can't get to the desktop because my mother has forgotten his password and is the administrative account and this is the only account available. I decided that I need to reinstall Windows Vista Home Premium to the computer but I don't want to buy a version of it, if I can't, anyway I can just download a Windows VPS on a disc or flash drive and reinstall the OS in this way? Or do I absolutely have to buy a new version of Windows?

    Hello

There is no available legal vista download.

And you make a reset disk on that machine, not another machine and make you before you forget the password, not afterwards.

If this is not applicable, you must reinstall the operating system.
