When my page is reduced to half of my screen, horizontal scrolling does not work.
He worked previously, but he just stopped. If I'm on a Web page and trying to scroll sideways with two fingers, it does not work. Vertical scrolling works very well.
I'm on a Dell Inspiron running Windows 7.
Start Firefox in Mode safe to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
To turn on safe mode
- You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.
- Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "
If it works in Mode safe mode and normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Modules > Extensions) off and then try to find which extension is the cause by allowing an extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit ' (Windows: Firefox/file > quit;) Mac: ' Firefox > quit Firefox. " Linux: "Firefox/file > exit ')

New Notebook Laser Mouse 7000 - click on the button does not work so it is unusable
If this is the wrong forum, please let me know. I couldn't find an obvious forum for mice. My old wireless mouse does so after much research, I chose a Laser Mouse 7000 and ordered online. I have download the drivers, follow the instructions for setting up and pressing the buttons, the installer with ALL THE BUTTONS by DEFAULT, reset and CLICK does not work. It acts like I am struck by right click. I tried moving, rearranging button settings, nothing works. When I go into control panel it says it is not working properly, but this certainly isn't. I also restarted x 2 to try to make the problem go away.
It is a defective material, so should I just sent to the seller? That I've already lost too much time on this stupid thing. If I didn't always have a wireless mouse, I would not be able to use my PC

Oh, I try the product. I have to enter the product number. It is very very small and very difficult to read, but I can enter the product correctly, I think. But here is the message that I will be back:

Original title: Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center does not recognize my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000'
My Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 works fine but when I click on it in the devices section and printers on Panel, Microsoft Mouse and keyboard Center does not recognize. It displays the text "No Device detected". Here is a screenshot of what I see:
Hi faignard,
Thanks for the reply. It is regrettable that uninstall the existing mouse device manager drivers did not help to solve the problem.
I suggest that you go to the program and features under programs installed and check if there are any associated with IntelliPoint software or any software application related to the mouse installed. In the affirmative, please go ahead and uninstall them and then try to install the driver software IntelliPoint 8.2 in compatibility mode as stated in my previous post dated 22 December 2014. See the following link on how to uninstall program:

CS4 MENU HORIZONTAL SPRY DOES NOT WORK IN IE 8
I had problems with the drop-down list of CS4 so I decided to create a clean HTML page and start from scratch. I created a new HTML page with nothing else than a horizontal menu spry, but it does not work in IE 8. Drop-down menus do not show. Nothing has been changed in all included files in DW, but I copied and pasted below.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

using firefox 24, yahoo toolbar disappears and the keyboard does not work on some websites
We have installed firefox 24, yahoo toolbar sometimes disappears. On some web site when trying to enter a password, the keyboard does not work until you double click of the mouse on the registration form. This on two different systems of windows 7. Each thin seemed to work fine before the update prior to the installation of 24.
Hello
Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.
(If you use it, switch to the default theme).
- Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
- Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
- Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.
I hope this helps!

my mouse on my laptop does not work correctly...
the "clicker" on the laptop to put it technically, but not the touchpad. You must hold it down for a while and press really hard to make it work, I don't know if it's something that I can fix it or to replace. any suggestions to fix this would be appreciated!

Hello
It looks like a hardware problem if the button does not work correctly. Until you can find a solution, you can use an external USB mouse.
I recommend you contact the manufacturer of the computer for that matter.

I have a SSIS package that uses ODBC to connect to a Progress database. It works fine in Visual Studio and it works very well in a batch file calling DTEXEC from the Windows Task Scheduler, but it does not work in the work of the SQL Agent. It says that it cannot find the driver information.
Hi Curt_DBA,
The question you posted would be better suited in the MSDN Forums. I would recommend posting your query in the MSDN Forums (SQL Server Integration Services).

USB optical mouse is recognized but does not work.
I use a computer portable 64-bit of windows 8 and I have tried to use all ports.
The red light under the mouse appears upwards (the mouse is a mouse usb HP in the base address) but I'm not able to click or move.I read the previous posts about other people with this kind of problem and checked my device manager and uninstalled all my drivers and then re them installed for the mouse, but I noticed that when I uninstall the drivers mouse and plug it in again, it installs several things; under Human Interface drivers it installs the HID-compliant device and 3 USB input devices. It also installs "HID-compliant mouse" under "mice and other pointing devices".Every 10-20 seconds it will make noise that indicates it is be unplugged and plugged back in and all the drivers disappear and reappear.I tried to use another mouse that looks like this, and none of them work in my laptop. They both work in my PC and my laptop of brothers, they are both windows 7.Thank youHello
As you have tried 2 other mice in all ports of the computer and both does not work, but the same mouse works in any other computer shows that the problem is with the controllers USB (universal Serial Bus) of the laptop.
I would ask you re-install Bus controllers and check if that helps.
a: press the Windows key + R, and then click on Device Manager
b. expand the Controllers of Bus USB section by clicking on the'+' sign.
c. Uninstall each of the devices under the section USB Controller by right-clicking on each one, and then clicking Uninstall.
d. close the Device Manager and restart your computer. Windows RE-automatically install the USB controllers in your computer, without you having to do anything further. Your computer is now running properly USB devices.
Answer please if you have any questions.
