• Inserting a new record in the database using a form empty ADF

  I'm trying to insert a new record into the database using a form.
  
  I have an Employee table and its corresponding entity object and the view object. The table has an id that is used as the primary key and is filled using a sequence in the comic book.
  
  Data controls, I dragged and dropped at the sight of the employee as a form of ADF and checked the submit button include. Then I dragged and dropped the validation on submit button operation.
  
  When I connect to the app and go to the page used to create, I have 2 problems:
  1 - the form is filled with the logged in user info.
  2. If I try to change the news and validation, the user info is changed in the database and no new record is created.
  
  It makes a little sense to me, but I would like to know if there is a way around it (get an empty form and insert a new record).
  NB: the employee id is not part of the form, I want to be filled using the sequence.

  To do this, you must create a new record before going to the display of the form page. In a stubborn workflow (btf), you drag the operation createInsert of the VO on the btf and it will generate a link method, add a view to the btf and put a navigation of the binding of the method of the page. • Acrobat Pro XI: Creating a form of page multi with repeated fields requiring different input values

  Hello.  I am working on a form that has more than 130 areas by page and 16 pages.  The form is a set of report cards for a classroom.  All except two fields per page will have to repeat on each page, but NOT duplicate the input value.  These are individual students names and brands in different areas of the assessment for the 4 quarterly marking periods and the teacher comments (each page of the form is a report card x 16 students the students in the class).  I need to work on platforms (PC and Mac), or I'd do it in Word.  Word and Pages don't play well with the complex layout of the form, so I turned to Acrobat.

  I am looking for a way to set up a page and then copy the fields on the following pages, with a suffix or another convention that can quickly be changed per page without frames of hand-label nearly 2400 / form (on top of that, I am doing this for 7 classes).  I read that using the naming convention item.0 allows duplicate fields to select and the +/-key to adjust the suffix without going into the Properties dialog or the area of field to rename, but it does not work for me and I find enough information about the feature to help me with what I'm doing wrong.

  If there is a better way to do it, I'm open to all suggestions.  I need help if the script is needed, as I am not a programmer.

  Usig the increment/decrement keys +/-, the tail number is no longer a feature available. I believe he was abducted with Acrobat 6, but it may have been 7.

  You can use a hidden template page to make their fields on a page and to ensure that the fields are automatically renamed. First create you a blank page, copy a page of the fields on the blank page and make a hidden model. You can then use the template.spawn JavaScript method to add fields to any other page.   {module_webformresults} is self rendedered as a table with ID CSS attached, but nothing specific to the error message - which results in the error not be perceived.

  The ERROR is triggered by a user name or password dulplicate.

  I tried to use a text JQuery selector, but it does not work with the results for some reason any.

  Any ideas?

  It should work. You know the id of the specific area, you know what string to search for in order to condition the appearance of the new message.

  You can also add the following to the form action to redirect to a custom confirmation page if you do not want to tinker with the default confirmation page. In this way, you can customize each form page continue the conversion program.

• Want to make a "new user" form in Acrobat using the Forms Designer, I'm going about this wrong?

  Hi all, I work in a small company and would like to have a generic template that back to new users when they start. He practices the company base on internet usage, storage of base directory, login, etc... I want that last page of a form that I fill to contain their user name, password, telephone etc... I've implemented the shape makes a .pdf file and used the form designer to implement the fields I want to have active. Now I don't know what to do. I deally, I want save a copy of the file for each user in a network folder, with their information on this subject, and the form fields locked after I'm done. I've been playing with the distribution of forms and appear not to do what I want, looks like it creates a single file with all the different updates. I want possible, or can I just keep the shape of the United Nations distributed and open / save for each user and hope that they erase their data?

  Yes, for what you want to do create the form in Acrobat is the best way to go. Here are a few tips.

  1. to flatten the page that contains the form field, use the flattenPages method. It is documented here: http://livedocs.adobe.com/acrobat_sdk/9.1/Acrobat9_1_HTMLHelp/JS_API_AcroJS.88.466.html

  So to flatten the last page of a document, you should do something like:

  Convert fields on the last page to the other content

  flattenPages ({start: numPages - 1});

  2. to save the changes in a new document, you can do this:

  I think you mean the text stating "x of there matches", to the right of the box where you entered the search term.

  The first number ("x" in my example above) indicates the current entry highlighted on the page that matches the search phrase. If you use the upper and down arrows to navigate through the instances of this term on the page, you will see this number go up and down.

  What problems are you having with the arrow? You go to Tools-> annotate-> arrow and an arrow appears. Then you can drag around the head and tail to make it to the desired location.
