  So all this started because I tried to clean my computer to give to a friend. I tried refomatting the hard drive, but something was wrong here. After that, when I turn on the computer I get a black screen with message Bootmgr missing. I read a little inside and saw that I could download a Windows Vista recovery disk because my computer did not come with one.
  After that I downloaded and burned the ISO image to a CD, things started looking better. I got to the screen when you select the language and keyboard. Then install windows screen. My options there were 'Install now' and 'repair your computer '. When I try to install, I put in my product key that seems fine. The next message I get is "Windows cannot open the required file E:\Sources\Install.wim. The file does not exist. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. "Error code: 0 x 80070002.

  You use the repair disk option, not Install.

  How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

  There is no Vista free download legal available.

  I'm not running the applications, games or software but I notice about 2.3 GB of RAM memory usage and 88 of running processes.

  When Windows is installed but nothing added is around 40 process but once you start adding things the number goes up.  ~ 80 process is not uncommon.

  Tell your friend that there is nothing wrong.  You use about 25% of ram so much you and it is simply not a problem.

  I have seen systems with 150 used process and 3 GB of ram and it is bad because it could cause a delay.

  In short if you do not have a problem, you like it, tell us your firend to explain here and I bet that he cannot or will not.

  It seems to be that some of the files windows install is corrupt.

  I have some steps that may help you:

  Method 1: Make sure that the Windows Installer service is running.

  a. click Startand type services.msc , and then press enter.

  (b) in the services window, locate Windows Installer service in the services list.

  c. check that the status is started. If the condition column is empty, right-click Windows Installer, and then select start.

  d. If you get error trying to force start the Windows Installer service, try to change the Startup Type to Automatic (default is Manual), then

  e. restart the computer.

  f. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "theWindows resource protection did not find any breach of integrity".

  g. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.
