• Built-in sort with Arrays.sort

  I have multidimensional array that contains a number as new arr int [10] [10] and that you want to sort according to the last column. Arrays.sort is a simple way to do it, but what happens if I don't want a real movement elements occur by Arrays.sort (arr [] []). Frankly, I'm interested in winning positions but not to grant the lines. Can I pass it arrange step because not interested in changing the original table? For the moment, I sort the table with Arrays.sort then index of table row and I fixed the position number pair. For example arr [0] has rank 1, arr [1] has the rank of 2 etc. If sorted according to the last column.

  You just need to create a Comparator for sorting the index array that uses the last entry in each row of real data array when comparing a row rather than all the row entries as I have done.

  You can triple press touch home to help, but there is an easier way. Settings > general > accessibility > Assistive Touch > customize the top level Menu > click on an icon you don't often use (or add a new). A list is displayed, and you can assign a new icon, including the triple-click. -AJ

  I could get the computer provided the factory. Fortunately I had an about four inches of screen on the right side of the built-in screen. I could open the HP Recovery Manager, and then drag the screen where I was able to make the appropriate selections. I have a keyboard and wireless mouse and hung the laptop to a TV flat screen 42 inch.

• Help! Aspire 5735 laptop with broken screen does not recognize external monitor after the factory restore

  I have an ACER Aspire 5735, running horrible Vista that never worked from the beginning, always locked up, media player never worked, on, on, and after about a year my dog took in the power cord and threw out of the table and the broken screen. I used it with an external monitor for a while, but it was even worse after that and after that he take to get fixed yet has proceeded to run super slow, always locked up, refused to stop or start upward normally, and so he sat in a closet for about 3 years.

  I took it out a week ago to see if I could at least use it for my kids to friends to play on, but that she still had so many questions, I decided to do a factory restore.   Connect the external monitor to the laptop.

  Hold down the FN key and press the F4 key. Check if you get a display on the external monitor.

  I have a Dell Inspiron Mini running on Windows XP, that I dropped and broke a plastic wedge.  The broken plastic cut a wire to the screen, leaving me with a white screen.  I was able to use the fn 1 toggle to turn on a second monitor via a HDMI cable.  However, I decided that the blank white screen bothers my eyes, I went into the display settings and select 'make this my main screen' which means, do my main screen TV.  However, he turned off the TV screen instead of the empty white laptop screen.  The Fn 1 button no longer works.  I tried to do a manual telephone walkthough with Dell system restore.  By restoring the computer to its factory settings, I should allowed to use the Fn 1 button again to turn on my TV via HDMI cable - without success.  Therefore, Dell confirmed that I had a software internal problem and recommended that I post him for repair (no guarantee).  The Dell Inspiron Mini has no CD Rom internal drive, however, I have the original disks supplied with the notebook software program which is five years (or more).  The Dell Inspiron Mini operating system is Windows XP.

  Now, I have a laptop HP large format, with CD Rom drive, running on Windows 7.   Can I use my HP CD Rom to install the original records of the original Dell Inspiron mini Dell program?  Thank you.

  We suggest you to check if the mouse is detected in Device Manager.
  a. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.
  b. expand mice and other pointing devices.
  c. check if the connected mouse is detected in the list.
  Also download and install the right mouse software. Click on download software
  
  Once the software is installed, restart the computer and check the difference.
  If the problem continues, check if the mouse works on another computer to cross check if it is not damaged.

  This movement stuttering is caused by your code and the way key headphones work.  When you first press the left or right and hold call you accel(), but then accel is not called again until the delay of the keyboard which varies according to the system, but about 500 ms on my computer.  Thus, for the first 500ms after pressing one of these keys, you get right or left movement and braking then immediate thanks to your code:

  to remedy this, use an enterframe loop it increment/decrement hSpeed, not the keyboard events.  Use a keydown and keyup listener to determine when to start and stop increment/decrement hSpeed.

• Problems with the sorting of a table with drop-down text cells

  I have 2 subjects (among a number of topics), and each section has a table.

  I followed Mr Grainge help to sort a table without an arrow and in heading 1, it does not work as expected. When I generate my WebHelp I can click on any one of my columns will sort the data. I can see the little black arrow head and black arrow head.

  I know absolutely nothing about HTML and basically followed the instructions for help and got to work.

  The second is a little different in that has 3 columns and rows about 375. The second column contains cells with the drop down text (but not all) as some have yet to be converted.

  The questions are:

  (1) a column will sort once only. So if I click on column 1, the head of black arrow appears. Subsequently, no amount of click will change the State of the data. I can sort the data on any of the 2 remaining columns, but I can never switch between ascendants and descendants of sequence on the same column.

  (2) in Design view, I see all the data in each cell. After that I generated my WebHelp, some of the cells that contain drop-down text fields are missing. Some are, and some are not. Those who are there, work perfectly when I click on the text and the text of the menu drop-down appears. Each drop-down text field has a bookmark.

  ((3) continuous on 2) above, if I use the combination of keys ctrl-w in design, some of the cells that contain text to menu drop-down are missing (probably all those lacking in the Webhelp) and oddly, some of the borders of the cells (I used light blue) are missing. However, they are there in the WebHelp. A sample is attached.

  Get my second table to work as I had hoped would be fantastic and worthwhile so far. However, I'm not quite there yet and need your help and suggestions.

  Please see the last item in the list under the Notes. I suspect this is the problem.
