  This type of paper is known to work very well.

  Thanks but I tried several times, I go through all the steps & I think I have then at the end any communication with the printer. I tried to disable the firewall I have many problem withis hours invested. Past hoours on the phone with HP with a person that I could hardly understand to add to the problem.   I see that you have problems printing in color. You have changed the cartridges and have the same results. I want to help you solve this problem.

  Please, try the following steps to see if it will help solve the problem. Ignore the titles of 2nd & 3rd documents.

  I used ePrint with my HP Officejet Pro 8500 has for 2 years and it works very well.  After the last update of software, I tried to connect to my ePrint account to add another user authorized, but the system has forgotten my E-mail address.  I know that I am using the correct E-mail address, because I me reminders for my printer HP mail to that address and it is the only one I use for business, but I can't even trigger a password because the new ePrint says that I do not exist.

  If I create a new account for the same printer, will be that collide?  I have the printer email address and use it regularly, so I know it is properly connected to my wireless and it converses with ePrint.  Is it possible to recover an account if you have the printer email address and serial number?

  Hello and thanks for any advice.  I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 8500 started a clicking then that he was trying to pick up the paper for printing a document and then received a paper error output (bin was full).  I removed all the paper and found a small plastic piece 1/4 inches long and looks like a piece of home (he's not... looks like only). I replaced the paper and tried to print.  I opserved that the mechanism of paper collection has diminished, but the wheels do not turn. I manually pushed a piece of paper in front of the van and it printed.  The collection of paper wheel is the problem... is there an available spare part?

  I understand that you have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 has e-all-in-one printer that seems to have lost perhaps a part and the mechanism of paper collection has stopped working. I'll help you as best I can.

  I checked the list of replaceable parts for this printer and who find that the mechanism of collecting paper is not a replaceable piece by customer. If the printer is broken, a replacement may be your only option.

  I suggest you contact HP support. They could have an option to replace/upgrade the printer that you could save a few dollars to the retail costs.

  Pretty simple problem.  The cyan and magenta colors do not print.  The cartridges are all fairly new, PLR and lines of supply to the printhead not are not tangled, etc..   I wonder if I need to replace the print head.  The machine is almost 4 years old.

I would like to help you today with this problem of print quality. Thanks for the troubleshooting steps that you received before reaching out for support, including. Currently, there are a few quality printing additional troubleshooting steps that can be done to resolve this Cyan and Magenta print quality problem. However, if these measures fail to solve this problem of quality then a replacement Cyan and Magenta Printhead will likely be needed. That being said, can I please have you follow the steps below.

  To begin troubleshooting can I please have you click here. Once the support document opens, please follow the steps under four Solution. This includes step 1, step 3, step 4 and step 5 under four Solution. You may need to run the three print head cleans to unclog the printhead system. Attention do not exceed three clean because the ink is used during the process of cleaning print head. After troubleshooting is completed, please print another diagnostic quality report in order to confirm if the quality issue has been resolved.

  If the problem persists, a replacement Magenta and Cyan Printhead would be necessary.

  The print head should be is original printhead Cyan and Magenta HP 940. The part number is C4901A.

  I am able to print to this device I have widower of drivers from Microsoft Update, but I want to be able to scan with it.

  I solved this problem by installing the complete package on a Vista laptop then set up a network folder on the server for the scanned images.  I then unplugged the laptop from the LAN and now I can scan using the front panel of the printer/scanner and images appear on the shared folder of Server 2008.

  2. You have security software installed on the computer?

  Method 1

  I suggest that you try to start in safe mode and then try to log on to Windows using the default Administrator account and then remove the password for your account, check if it helps.
