  I was instructed to download and apply the latest flash player (to be in conformity with the operational guidelines for patch vunerabilities) to our stand-alone systems that are not connected to the internet.  These systems can be connected to the network because of contracts existing between our Organization and the contractor.  I was able to download the latest version of flash player/plugin for these stand-alone computers.  Our office is not interested to install Flash player for computers that do not already pre-installed flash, only those who have older versions that need to be patched.  My problem is what I've done the research implies solutions that require access to an internet/Web page to check if the Flash has been installed.  Is there another method to check if Flash Player or the plugin are on these computers without being connected to a network or the internet?  We are also prohibited to install any 3rd party software that is not approved for use in our Organization.   For my senior project my group design and created a vehicle for extended range hybrid with 90 Li + battery which is charged by a 15 kW generator and/or who is also charged by a 5 kW fuel cell. Currently, our system is able to measure the tension on batteries and display them on a laptop via LabVIEW. To process these data, we use a cRIO FPGA. What we would like to do now, is having a touch screen for the pilot to choose which loads of source of battery power so that monitor a pressure reading from the fuel tank.

  What kind of touch screens to LabVIEW to be downloaded on and used for controls?

  A cRIO has the necessary capacity to supply such a screen and handle the transfer of the data from the sensor fuel and relay (for turning on and off will deepen)?

  Do I need an additional license to create stand-alone applications and how I would go about creating a stand-alone application?

  NEITHER sells computers touch screen that can be used to control LabVIEW applications.  You can find more information here: HMIS and industrial touch panels and here: LabVIEW Real-time and Touch Panel Deployment and replication resources. Our computers 6-inch touchscreen , run Windows CE, programming on them is a little different from the programming on a full Windows operating system.  You can find useful getting started with LabVIEW Touch Panel Module .

  You can use third-party with the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module devices, although it takes a deployment license for it.  More information can be found in the getting started guide.

  If you were able to send the information of cRIO on a network (which according to your description, seems unlikely), you can use a smartphone to control your application.  More information on our community of Smartphone group.

  If you use the 6-inch touchscreen panels, they need 18 to 32 VDC (the fuse becomes an open circuit if the input level exceeds 33 VDC).  The transfer of data from the switching relay can be monitored and changed with the touch screen.

  If you have traveled the road of the touch panel, you need to purchase the LabVIEW Touch Panel Module and a touchscreen.  Touchscreens OR have a touch panel deployment license.  Guides step by step to create the stand-alone application are in the getting started with LabVIEW Touch Panel Module .

• Using Creative Suite as a stand-alone Application

  I currently use Visual Basic as an operating shell to manage databases, Flash files and MS Office applications in a 'stand-alone application.  I am considering the purchase of Adobe Web Premium to perform the same functions and possibly convert it to a web site.  When references to literature marketing 'application' am I have reason to believe that I can use Web Premium autonomous under the name?  Also, can I access MSOffice files or just the PDF files?

  The web premium suite is a collection of programs designed for creating content as well as create and manage a Web site. It is compatible with Microsoft Office, but has no Office for its operation. It can work with files created in the Office.

  Yes.  Here's how:

  When you build your executable file, there are several screens in which you set parameters.

  Under "The Source file settings", check "VI Set of properties for all contained items.

  Click on the button "customize the properties of VI.  Another dialog box appears that lists the properties of the VI.

  Under 'Performance', uncheck the box "use the VI property.

  Make sure that ' Run when opened ' is not checked.

  Now, when you build your executable file, your user will have to press the white arrow to start the VI.

  Yes, your LabVIEW project you can create a "time real Executable ' under 'generation specifications' on the target of myRIO that you can deploy on the myRIO and set it runs automatically when myRIO Boote. Obviously, there's going to be any sort of user interface so you'll need to consider how you control / interact with it (or maybe just the log to the file data).

• Windows Media Player ActiveX plays do not image, but the stand alone WMP application. Why?

  I use my Windows Media Player v11 with extra codec to play mp4 files (mp4 are not supported by default with WMP 11, so I had to install a codec). It works very well in the stand-alone application, but when I use the ActiveX control in the regulation, it does not use the codec and I get only sound... no picture. I thought that the ActiveX was merely an interface to the same application of base used by OR and the stand alone media player. And if it's the same kernel, it must use the same codec. What Miss me?

  I have a tip for you. If you download Quicktime 7 (QT), you can select the QT activex player (see picture). It plays mp4 and seems better. QT is free, so there shouldn't be any problem. Try and see if it make you good

  To install on a server bare metal, you could first put ESXi (free version) on it and then run FMC as the virtual machine only on that. I've had clients do this and it works fine.

  To be able to accomplish this together the local drive to 'any Configuration' policy this way UCSM won't overwrite the current raid on the server configuration.

  Try to install the update in safe mode.

  Try to install the update in safe mode and see if you are able to install. Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

  To start in safe mode, follow the steps below:

  1. remove all floppy disks, CDs and DVDs from your computer and restart your computer.

  Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the button lock and then click on restart.

  2   , do one of the following:

  ·         If your computer has a single operating system installed, press and hold the F8 key as your computer restarts. You need to press F8 before the Windows logo appears. • 2602 AP in stand-alone - using the two bands

  We generally use the series 2602 AP in light mode, however I have a scenario where we will install one with the stand-alone software.  I understand that we will not be able to utilze certain features that you get with the WLC as RRM, unreliable detection and clean air.

  We want to utilze the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHZ bands.  To do this with the autonomous access point 2602, will we have to set up 2 separate SSID?  I really don't want to do this if I don't have to minimize confusion for customers. Thank you.

  This decision is based on the client machines.  The device will choose who it will associate with.  You could always tweaking the settings on the device wireless to a single band favorite on the other.  There isn't any setting on the AP have devices prefer one over the other.  I hope this helps.

• I am a user of stand-alone license LR6 was forced to use CC LR

  I am a user of stand-alone license LR6.

  I've been using LR6 since the first upgrade and has just now when I tried from LR6 I couldn't use LR6 as a pop-up message of LR6 CC appeared on my screen and required that I have try the CC version. I couldn't past that this option should therefore try the CC to continue to work. The trial of CC is now expired and I can't return to my standalone LR6 (I assumed that after the expiry of the Adobe test would automatically return me to license existing LR6, which they did not). System Adobe says that I have to buy a LR CC subscription which I don't want to do right now than the trial do not provide me with any improvements I need. I want to continue using my standalone version. I need Adobe to reset my account of product for me to carry on using my LR6 standalone version. Please notify way forward.
