using both drives in win 7 (32/64 bit) who gathered at the time of purchase

I BOUGHT WINDOWS 7 PRO UPGRADE DISC (S) AND INSTALLED THE FINAL VERSION 32 BITS IN A HP LAPTOP WHICH IS DEAD (BAD MB); I BOUGHT A NEW HP LAPTOP COMPUTER THAT IS 64-BIT AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I CAN INSTALL THE 64-BIT VERSION LEGALLY AND VALIDATE (AS THE 32-BIT HARD DRIVE HAS BEEN ERASED)

Hello

You can use the update for 64-bit disk/license on your new HP laptop as long as the new HP laptop has a qualifying Windows Operating System already installed/activated on it for the upgrade of.

You have made the right choice by wiping the old hard drive.

System operating licenses in detail, that you buy and install yourself, are allowed to be transferred to another machine.

Retail licenses also can be installed on a single machine at any given time.

OEM license/product key (systems of operating pre-installed on Dell, HP, etc.) is not transferable and is related to the first machine it is installed on and dies when dies of this machine.

If it does require phone activation, do not follow Demand of Auto, but brace yourself for a real person explain as to what has been done for upgrade purposes

Tried to install the driver Chipset section 8.1 Win x 64

Tried to install the x 86 filerepository Win 7 chipset. This installs fine. But the touchpad doesn't work after that. You uninstall Bus SM Synaptics to get the touchpad working again.

  • Can not find the audio driver for Win XP for Satellite P305D-S8900 CONEXANT

OK, I hope someone out there can help becouse thit fist.

I'm about to return this laptop for Toshiba and go through another manufacturer for laptop that can be downgraded to WIN XP pro.

I tried for a week to find a driver to work on this laptop to nothing does not.
Corsica Toshiba says that 'the COMPUTER is DESIGNED for WINDOWS VISTA"as it means something and then they tell me to unscrew...

So what I have is a Satellite P305D-S8900 and I need the audio driver for Win XP.

Now, as far as I can tell, it's a driver audio conecant but I can't find one that work of wil.

    Any help; is greatley apericeated.

    Hey Buddy

First of all, you can install all possible OS on your P305.
It true s that the P305 has been pre-installed with the Vista operating system, but of course, you will be able to use other OS like Win XP

Why you n t check the European driver Toshiba page and choose the show Satellite P300. It of similar to the Satellite P305 (U.S. series) and you'll find the Conexant audio driver!

As far as I know at this time the 3.47.1.50 versions seems to be a more recent.

  • Install driver OfficeJet Pro X476dw on Win 7 Enterprise 64 bits without administrator rights

    Hi all

I have an OfficeJet Pro X476dw for my home office and I would like to use this printer on my company PC. Unfortunately the standard company of Win7 64 bit installation does not come with a set of drivers for the OfficeJet Pro X476dw. Unfortunately my company does not allow installation of company not certified pilots and they decline my request to certify the official HP drivers. So my question:

is there any driver easily integrated in Windows 7 which could be used to run the X476dw of OfficeJet Pro

    Any advice is welcome!

    Best regards

    EMVH

    Thanks Futoji,

Meanwhile, I figured out how to fix it for my Win 7 Enterprise 64-bit:

    (1) download the PCL 6 printer with installer driver

    (2) run the Installer (which will fail)

    (3) get the extracted files (must be in c:\users\ (you'll identify it through the most recent date, the copy path))

    (4) kick-off detection routine printer using 'Add printer' > ' add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.

    (5) take the printer without specification of 3911 port

    (6) select 'have disk... '. "and will give the driver (path of the dough)

    (7) select HP OfficeJet Pro X476dw MFP PCL6 driver

    (8) test

    It worked for me.

    Best regards

  • dual-boot reinstall drive on Win 7

It is a desktop Dell Inspiron dualboot computer.  I upgraded both drives to win 10 and then knocked over a drive for Win 7.  Bad move!

I was warned that I would need to reinstall the programs.

I can't Adobe Reader to resettle on Win 7.  The installer sees the drive on Win 10 and stops, no alternative offered to get the player on the Windows 7 disc.

    Help, please!

  • Satellite C50 - B - Intel Trusted execution engine Driver for Win 7 required

Cannot find driver Intel Trusted execution engine for Win 7
It is not listed on the page of product support for Satellite C50 B?

Device Manager searched this driver and I downloaded the driver for Win 8.1.
Device Manager not more indicates the absence of the driver, but I don't know if the substitute to Win 8.1 driver works for Win 7.

Sorry for the English, google helped me.

    Welcome:

The Intel Trusted execution engine driver to Win 8.1 64-bit seems to be compatible with Win 7 64 bit system.
This is why you should not be worried that installing this driver can cause a few problems.

  • Optimization: Game using the timer. Should I use onEnterFrame listener

I have an app to teach English. You have 20 seconds to answer each questin and progress / timer bar sinks.

I think I read somewhere that the timer takes a lot of CPU, so if we schedule 20 seconds to answer each question, then the timer is still active.

We could use the onEnterFrame event handler just add seconds per image.

Is it much better for our CPU because the game is a bit slow.

the timer does not take a lot of cpu.  It is the function of listener that can occupy a lot of cpu, especially if you call him several times per second.  your timer function performed once in 20 seconds is not a problem.

  • Can satellite A300d-16W - I use HARD drive recovery after installing Win XP?

I formatted my PC and installed XP. Can I reinstall Vista using HARD drive recovery?

    > I formatted my PC and install XP

No, you cannot use the recovery HARD drive after installing Win XP because looks like you have formatted the HARD drive and the HARD disk partition has been erased.

So you need to use the Toshiba Recovery disk that I hope, you created before you formatted the HARD drive.

  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of using iCloud drive (or other Cloud services) compared with iTunes game against external hard drive, Solid State etc. to store my songs iTunes, playlists, ratings etc?

First question: what are the advantages and disadvantages of using iCloud drive (or other Cloud services) compared with iTunes Match against Solid State external hard drive etc to store my songs iTunes, playlists, ratings etc?

Please let me know what are the alternatives for storage of my songs, playlists, song etc. other than iTunes game ratings ($ 24.99 / year)?  Is there a way to store all my songs with my song ratings, playlists, etc. with a CD song quality? Most of my (currently 130 GB) songs on my computer are CD quality that I prefer to keep as well as my notes of each song (i.e. 5 * vs. 4 * etc.), playlists, groups (music, classical, popular, country etc.).  What are the advantages and disadvantages to store my iTunes songs while CD quality with my personal notes, reading lists, groupings in the cloud?  ICloud of Apple Drive ($ 2.99 per month or $36 / year for 200 GB) would be the best way to automatically update and maintain my rankings iTunes personal including the future editions of the song etc or using Amazon, IBM, Microsoft etc cloud or an external hard drive SSD would work as well and maybe cheaper?  I currently have my iTunes on a PC of 2007 with vista (I use a 1 8T Western Digital external upward by car for my personal info all over HP, songs, photos etc. which is currently close to 170 GB) but also have an Apple i-phone 6 & I Air cushion.  Although I did not need to have all of my music with all their sides, etc. available on all of my devices at all times as iTunes game, I still would have easy access to information on both my PC and my iPhone or iPad?  Thank you.

    In my opinion?

I back up my data to an external drive for several reasons.  The first is my data - if I put on the cloud, someone else has control over it, they can see what I have and change the preferences to what they see of marketing.

Almost as important as that - if I had to rely on the cloud whenever I wanted to update my playlists on my phone, I need a better internet connection I have now (working at sea).  To get the best out of the cloud, you need a solid link to home, work or mobile.

As a spin-off - I hate the fact that Apple take away a feature in their software updates and then allow an app to be sold in their store to replace this feature - or worse still, some features that were available before the updates are now "cloud only."  And Yes - you have to pay for the cloud.  I like most of the people do not appreciate the 'accomplished fact. "

From the back of the external hard drive ASI downside, is that to be safe, you need to store outside in a separate computer place.  If keep you them together, if one is lost, probably, they are both.  That is to say for me a full backup before you travel, then a new upward as soon as I go home.  Downside is how much data may be lost between the two back ups if I needed to restore.  For me, its worth the risk.  If I was away and say had bought a ton of new music and couldn't go home anytime soon, I can always head to the store and buy a new external drive, they are massively expensive.  Even if my computer has to go for repair and my remote is to halfway around the world - I want to buy a new one.

Now, some will say that once you buy a new external, you spend more than you would on a cloud subscription.  It's true, but in the 6 years following the purchase of Mac that I've only had to buy a new external once - so with a little luck and planning - it works.

I left took well - I am not a subscriber of cloud, nor do I want to be.

  • Satellite A300D-15B PSAKCE - cannot install the audio driver for Win XP 64 bit

    Hi all

This is my first post here after hidden during the last week or so, my hope is that somewhere it helps and hope so!

I have a wonderful Toshiba A300D-15B PSAKCE with RAM 4 GB/O, but I suffer from some problems RESEARCH Holy function cannot resolve. I use this laptop as a box of development for uni/work unfortunately...

After a complete nightmare and Vista32, Vista64, I decided to go back to windows XP32, however this custom install, continues to claim a failure of a CRC file after (and Yes, that's with SATA in IDE mode and a disc of XPSP2)

I decided that I really DON'T want to goback to Vista, so installed Windows XP64. Now the first installation is very easy, I have the basic configuration, the chipset, graphic, network, CPU, usb, fine... except basic... and that's where I lost most of my hair... SOUND!

First try to install the results of the pilot of his failure, claiming the mmdriver.inf cannot be found or corrupted, obviously I checked, and yes there it is, downloaded pleasure the MMDRIVER. INF and placed it system32 and the installation always fails.

I also tried a "manual installation", in .inf files... which includes pilots XP32/64 and Vista 32/64 bit drivers, still the same
problem, the driver continues to not install. I am going bald. Exceptional drivers who moved there

If there is no help or ideas, I'd appreciate it.

    Hello

The laptop seems to use the Conexant audio chip. So, you will need the right sound driver for Win XP 64 bit.
Unfortunately, the European driver Toshiba page provides the drivers for Win XP but I don't know if the pilots would cover the OS 64 bit as well m.

Anyway, what you need to know, is that you will need to first install the patches Ms.
The fix KB835221 and KB888111MS must be installed before installing the audio driver.
If you have tried to install the driver, then remove it from the Device Manager and update Windows XP first!

AFAIK that SP3 already contains these patches then perhaps you should install SP3 first before starting with the installation of the audio driver.

  • Pavilion 15-e084ca: HP Pavilion 15-e084ca CHIPSET DRIVER for Win 8.1

Looking to upgrade my laptop to win 64-bit and noticed 8.1 in the drivers section there is no driver current Chipset. Why is this? In addition, there are several drivers for the wireless card and the graphics card. Which one should be downloaded and installed? Each of them? I'm a noob big time when it comes to drivers and at the expense of loading windows. Thanks to anyone who responds!

    Hello

The following link shows the specifications of your computer:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03803147

    and watch the following link:

    http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?SearchText=E1X77UA

    1. chipset: your machines use "Elite Quad - Core 10 - 5750M fast AMD processor" AMD is the chipset. Normally, we can use driver chipset Intel or AMD (in this case AMD) on the sites of maufacturer.

2 graphics: you can use the first link and select the graphics card driver

3 Wireless: and you can use the second link (last item) to determine which driver to download.

    Good luck with the upgrade.

  • Re: Satellite P300D-20U - I can not install display driver for Win XP

    Hi all!

I bought the laptop P300D-20U, I installed windows XP on it.
But now I can not install the driver to display on it.

I downloaded from this site (it's the only display driver for this laptop).
When I install and restart, Catalyst Control Center to write me that it do not display driver support and don't launch.
Windows loads in resolution 640 x 480 and 4-bit color.

When I'm changing resolution or color apears black screen and nothing happens, in 20 sec it cancels.
I tried different drivers from ati.com but nothing works :(

SRY for my English but I hope that you will help me guys, ty

    Hello

Satellite P300D-20U belongs to the PSPDCE series and I think that it was equipped with the chip graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 (M82XT).

Did you choose this series in the form of European driver of Toshiba?

I see the Display Driver for Win XP v 8.477.

If you can not install using the setup.exe, then you should try to install this driver in Device Manager.
Mark (possibly marked with yellow exclamation) graphics card then choose put up-to-date driver, use the Advanced installation procedure, point to the driver files downloaded from the Toshiba page and apply.

    It should work
