using configuration Repeater WAP4410N

Hello

I have a network connected directly to a wap4410n device to allow my laptop to comminucate with her wireless. I need an extra blanket wireless added an another WAP4410 as an additional access point to connect wireless to the original WAP.

However comes as two separate networks and if I connect to the second WAP it won't comminucate with my network device.

Network device - WAP4410N--><----WAP4410N--->                   <>

192.168.1.100 192.168.1.244 129.168.1.243 192.168.1.10

set as defined as reapeater Access Point?

with option with MAC & SSID of

connect the main Repeater access point

Is there a guide of configuration for this sort of thing. I disabled all the securities that I didn't need and everything has fixed Ip addresses.

    OK, I tried using the tftp.exe ftp://ftp.linksys.com/pub/network/ program and renamed befw11s4_v4_v1.52.02 in a short name, bef.bin. and I have had the exact same failures.  I was able to download the tool BEFW11S4_v15014_tftp.exe and befw11s4_v4_v1.50.14_code and update to the 1.50.14 level of the firmware.  I thought that maybe the level of intermediate code could be required.  Then tried the steps you suggest again, it does not always work with an INVALID FILE NAME.  While the tool is looking for something specific, other than this level of code.  Can you please place a version of the FLASH TOOL, which will work with the 1.52.02 firmware.  Thank you...

    Hi Josh,.

    I assume you are using a CISCO IOS Gateway running as a parent to another access point Repeater running Cisco's IOS cannot associate with

    access points to the parents who who are not IOS running.

    If you use an access point CISCO as a parent... then make sure that the settings on the Parent and the Repeater exactly except matches IP ADDRESS and the ROLE of STATION...

    To set the same as Repeater... Here are the steps...

    To the CLI HELP - issue the 'repeater station-role' command under the interface of the AP Radio.

    With the HELP of GUI - click network interfaces > int > 802.11 G Radio > settings > here you can > Repeater > click it and apply.

  • Can I use a Repeater with a WRT610N?

    I am very displeased with the strength of signal and the beach of my new WRT610N dual band router access WAP54G I used point before.  I can configure the Access Point as Repeater for the band of 2.4 GHz on the WRT610N if I use the WRT610N as a wireless G rather than N wireless router?

    If so, how can I do it?

    Thanks for any help and suggestions?

    Sorry, but you can't turn a Repeater for the wrt610n the wap54g, wap54g will work only as a Repeater when communicating with another wap54g or a wrt54g

    For the new connection on the network repeated, I entered the newly created security key.

    Configurations of Repeater of most of the brands includes patented technologies that makes it incompatible with other brands. You can only use Linksys routers with repeaters or Linksys wireless access points.

  • Advice on the use/configuration/partitioning the 1 TB (2 x 500 GB) discs on the laptop (dv7-4190us) HP

    I asked 1 question about it before and really didn't get what I was looking for, does not so much ask clearly, so let me ask this question instead.

    Background: recently bought a laptop from quickshipdv7-4190us with a 1 TB worth readers who comes with 2 x 500 GB disks.

    The normal architecture of HP is what about formatting the drive / organization:

    1 500 GB drive contains the following Partitions: System, OS, recovery, HP tools

    -with the configuration of C: OS (440 GB) partition to contain and receive all the files, programs, documents, etc..

    2nd 500 GB drive contains: nothing - formatted as data D:

    So, here are the questions:

    (A) Comment set up and use the disks on this laptop?

    I see the options of what follows, please add, change, recommend and shoot.

    (1) such use, use the CS almost everything, use the d: data as a way to "Save" the data from the C: OS drive and perhaps programs

    (2) keep Partition / disk Structure as it is, but use Data for all personal data files, use C: OS for all Windows & program file facilities

    (3) reduce / repartition the size of CS 440 Go to say 150 GB to contain all programs, use the partition on the C: drive, that would be about 200 GB for personal data files.    Use the data for two backup D: drive or dedicated to Photos and music

    (4) add yours?

    Thank you!

    I'd leave the how partitioning scheme. Do not rename the recovery or the partition of HP tools.

    It is advisable to use an external drive to store the C disk images and data from the D: drive on it.

    Make sure that you create a recovery on 16 GB USB keyor CD support

    Who should your emergency strategy in case your hard drive goes down.

  • Properly using Configuration information/files

    I read in previous posts on the forum and have scoured the internet looking for information, but I still don't feel I know how to properly use the configuration information for my program.

    Basically, this program is a large-scale application that requires a ton of configuration information (as opposed to simply specifying constants).  The reason why I'm doing this is because scientists so as we want to be able to adjust almost any setting at any time.  Right now, I use a standard .ini file (which becomes unwieldy).  There are 7 main segments for my program (exit HW, entry HW, network Comms, Calc, etc.) that need to have configuration information stored.  There are currently 178 different "sections" with up to 7 "keys" by section.

    I thought to...

    1. with the help of a single configuration file.  It becomes unwieldy, and being able to change the settings at any time can lead to a ton of old config files (each file is stamped and recorded so that all old config may be available time/date).  Create a parser for it's a bear.

    2 using the several configuration files.  Looks better, but this led to 7 config files and 7 scanners of config file to maintain.

    3. go with a config XML format file.  I'm not too familiar with this, but it seems more scalable than .ini.

    4. using an Excel file with the columns and rows that are monitored for configuration information.  Doesn't seem to be the way to go... (because there are a lot of different sections and each section has different types of keys)

    I'm just confused on how to tackle this problem now.  Help or direction would be appreciated.

  • Agilent E5070B: error when using 'configure calibration VI.

    a mistake came during the communications test LAN to the Analyzer of Agilent E5070B network with the "agena Configuration Application Example.vi".

    It seems to me that there is a bug in "agena Configure Calibration.vi" that is called during the execution of the example of vi.

    In my case, it helped change the string declaration of impedance with the declaration of the decimal point:

    old: :SENS:CORR:IMP %lf
    new: %.;:SENS:CORR:IMP %lf

    Can anyone tell if this problem is really a problem for all users?

    (or only for users with the German country settings because it is obiously a problem with the statement of the decimal point)

    It is probably a very common problem in all the countries that do not use a decimal separator. I know many deselect the option "Use localized comma" instead of rewriting the pilot.

  • Using configuration for the 2nd link of lan to lan vpn

    Hello

    Successfully, I configured a connection of lan to lan vpn between two offices. I try to add another link to a 3rd office to my office at home, but have some difficulty. I have attached my setup and hope someone can help me solve my problem. Right now I have a working vpn to the 172.16.0.0/24 network and putting in place the link to 172.16.3.0/24 so. For the new vpn connection, I can ping the external interfaces, but can't ping anything in-house.

    Thanks for your time and help,

    Jason

    Jason

    There is a major mistake that's easy to fix. You have successfully created a second instance of the encryption card to create a VPN tunnel for the second site. But as currently configured two instances of the encryption card use the same access list:

    1 ipsec-isakmp crypto map clientmap

    match address 100

    5 ipsec-isakmp crypto map clientmap

    match address 100

    But each session/tunnel VPN needs its own access list. So, I suggest that you make the following changes:

    5 ipsec-isakmp crypto map clientmap

    match address 101

    no access list 100

    access-list 100 permit ip 192.168.0.0 0.0.0.255 172.16.0.0 0.0.0.255

    access-list 101 permit ip 192.168.0.0 0.0.0.255 172.16.3.0 0.0.0.255

    This provides a list of separate for each session/tunnel access and should solve this problem. Try it and tell us the result.

  • Using configuration FTP server access

    All of our users internally connect to internet through firewalls pix 515e.

    I install an ftp server on the IP 192.168.0.49 and already configured to access the PIX. Users within the office using the 192.168.0.49 ip address to access the ftp site so that users outside of the use of the ftp.mmg field - me .com to access the site.

    The field ftp.mmg - me .com is linked to our public ip address.

    The problem is only users inside can use the above mentioned internal ip address. If they try to connect to the ftp via the ftp.mmg field - me .com, there is still time. So, how I can configure the firewall to allow users inside to use the domain name to connect to the ftp?

    It's the command that I published to configure the firewall for ftp access:

    static (inside, outside) 80.227.104.242 tcp ftp 192.168.0.49 ftp netmask 255.255.255.0 0 0

    Hello

    You have two options here-

    -If you want the command alias so your syntax should be as follows:

    alias (Inside) 192.168.0.49 80.227.104.242 255.255.255.255

    -If you run PIX 6.2 or higher, my suggestion would be to edit your existing static with the keyword "dns", stated as follows: -.

    static (inside, outside) 80.227.104.242 tcp ftp 192.168.0.49 ftp dns netmask 255.255.255.0

  • Why is it not recommended to use Configuration.releaseRootApplicationModule

    Hello

    I need to display data in a region, which is populated by a display object if the input parameters of the region fulfil certain conditions. To do this, I need to access a view in another project JDEV object and use this code snippet:
    ApplicationModule _am =
    oracle.jbo.client.Configuration.createRootApplicationModule
    ("mypackage.applicationModule.myAM", "FooPublicModelAMLocal");
    ViewObjectImpl lastValuesVO = (ViewObjectImpl) _am.findViewObject("myValuesLatestVO");
    VariableValueManager paramsLastValuesVO = lastValuesVO.ensureVariableManager();
    paramsLastValuesVO.setVariableValue("pEntityGuid", targetGuid);
                       ... ...
    lastValuesVO.executeQuery();
    while (lastValuesVO.hasNext())
    {
        Row settings = lastValuesVO.next();
        // read data in VO
    }
    Configuration.releaseRootApplicationModule(_am, true);
    However, this is not the recommended approach.
    Reference: http://blogs.oracle.com/smuenchadf/presentations/ slides 16 and 17

    I would like to know what this could cause potential problems. I sometimes see exceptions in the newspaper, where the stacktrace includes:
    Caused by: weblogic.jdbc.extensions.PoolLimitSQLException:
    weblogic.common.resourcepool.ResourceLimitException:No resources currently available in pool EMReposDS to allocate to applications, please increase the size of thepool and retry..

    ... 100 more
    Could it be related to the use of createRootApplicationModule(), even if I followed using releaseRootApplicationModule?

    Note: I use Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.3.0 build JDEVADF_11.1.1.3.PS2_GENERIC_100616.0835.5677

    Another approach suggested here was to use:
    BindingContainer bindings = getBindings();
    OperationsBinding ob = bindings.getOperationBinding("rightWaymethod");
    Object result = ob.execute();
    However, it seems to require that the pageDef in the region have links to the DataControl. I try to avoid it, as there the View object is accessible only if certain conditions are met.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you
    Patricia

    User,

    Yes, your mistake could very well be due to your approach, although it could also be caused because your jdbc connection pool is too small. The reason that it is not proposed to create and release your own modules of the application is that you create will be independent of all those that is managed by the link layer. Therefore, if your page is already using a module of the app, you will end up creating another (and possibly deplete the JDBC connection pool); your own created AM will not see also all cached, but uncommitted data may be in the AM, prepared by the link layer. If you are concerned about the overhead related to the execution of the useless VO, you can add the iterator, or in your case most likely surgery of executeWithParams, in your definition of the page and set its property to 'never' refresh so that it runs automatically; Then, you can get a reference to the link and run it. This way, you will avoid to create your own instance of AOS.

  • Using configured WiFi Officejet Pro 8600 in a location no-wifi via USB

    My Officejet Pro 8600 is used at home via WiFi.

    I want to take the printer to a location which does not have WiFi and print via the USB port.

    The installation disc (v28.8) has mutually exclusive options when you run Setup.exe,

    for the WiFi, or USB / Ethernet.  How to install a printer driver for printing via

    USB, while keeping the WiFi driver installed?

    OK I see that now when printing there is selections for 'HP Officejet Pro 8600' and

    "HP Officejet Pro 8600 (network)".  I have not seen in a first time.  Problem solved.

  • Keyboard US and Euro symbols (without using configuration we International)

    Hello
    I just got a laptop with a keyboard layout of the US, but there also an Alt Gr key and the symbol of the Euro on the number 5 key. On my previous (layout UK) keyboard, typing Alt GR + 5 would be the Euro symbol. The problem I have is that I can only do that if I choose to "Us International" keyboard in Windows 7. Choose normal 'US' layout results in the above key combination does not. I wonder if there is a way for me to change/edit/add a mapping keys specific to the keyboard layout of the 'US' so that I can type the Euro symbol using Alt Gr + 5.

    I don't want to use the United States - International layout, as it has all kinds of strange combinations of keys to produce special characters and they get in the way with symbols normal while programming (e.g. from the double quotes, etc.).

    Thank you
    Joe

    If you want to then try to contact any manufacturer of keyboard and do so because practically it is very tactile and has from now on none who would have tried.
